I am using a 4 GB kingston card. not faced any problem. From different posts it seems the 8 GB card does not work. There is a full thread in the accessories section. Please have a look.

make sure you have 2.08 or higher radio, and HPSL/spl 2.10 or higher
i have Radio 2.15 and HSPL 2.08 but i can't find newer HSPL and Android is still not working...i tried about 10 different Androids..

I dont see what your problem is then, HPSL 2.08 is the newest.
Make sure your SD card is fully formatted fat32 and 32/64 kb cluster size before you put the android build onto it, and the sd card should be 4gb or more.
SD card is 8 GB with FAT32 and 32kbit...everything is ready and prepared so i don't understand why it doesn't work

Format the FAT32...within the phone, not pc, and check my thread for a link at the bottom that has a possible fix.

REALLY????
How come I am using class 2 and it doesn't lag on me???
i personally experienced this problem......................... then i search and found that minimum class 4 card is required.......after i bought a new class 4 card then android worked............
(i will suggest you to burrow a mirco sd card (class 4)from your friend and check whether android works or not ,,,if it works then you might need to buy a new class 4 card
Dude just wait for it to boot.it takes ten to fifteen minutes for first boot

And it is crap to say class four card is needed.just class two is more than enough

Sorry, but this is the biggest nonsense i have heard about running android on hd2. In fact a lot of users report (including myself) running android on a class 2 solves the most issues. For me the key was to format the sdcard with the SDFormatter. Well, its all there in the sticky...

Complete and utter arse vomit!
I have/had Android running perfectly on 3 separate class 2 SD Cards. As mentioned above its about formatting your card CORRECTLY and also making sure you have correct windows rom/radio version.
To format your card use this and set it to FULL format with ERASE ON. Then also either be patient while the build created the data.img or place one there yourself in the "Android" folder to skip that part.
If you fail after this then your an idiot or your phone is gay.
hi
can you explain me if it's normal to have only 4 go free in internal sd?
when i connect the 3110 with my PC i've :
for internal sd CARD free 3.32 go on 4.48
can explaine me if it's good......normaly i think that my 3110 have 8go. correct?
existing a solution?
sorry for my poor english
thanks to all
About 4 gb are reserved for formatting tables rom recovery etc so if you have 8 gb version this is normal use external sd and app like directory bind, gl2sd or app2sd
In 16 gb version only free space is 11 gb

of-course you can root the tab even if its not yours, i have rooted my friends tab by their request, as long as they know what you do to their tab, and you know what you're doing, that is not a problem
better you tell them the risk too

Yeah they dont want me to, I root all my own stuff. Ah well not even close to the storage limit.
Although saw sygic allows you to move the map files to your extremal SD and it finds them just fine, why cant other apps do the same

Only having roughly 8gb of space for apps is a pain. I don't know who to be made at either Samsung for not planning the S4 for this or google.

It is up to the developers of the apps wether you can or can`t transfer the app to a external sdcard afaik. If they include app2sd support you can an if it is not supported you can`t.
