Please have a look at this screen shot and let me know if I can upgrade to 4.4 without any issue. I am located in Pakistan and the phone came from UAE. So please guide me.
P.S: Device is rooted

Sorry post updated
So long as your note isn't a HK variant you can flash fine. - have a read around maybe find some UAE note users, make sure you know the risks etc then decide if you wanna flash or not.

Hi guys,
I bought the D80210-HKG-XX version, because it has 32GB. Here in Belgium we only get the 16GB version, which is ridiculous when you cannot add an extra SD card.
But, since I'm European, I'd like to know if I can change my software version to D80210a without having problems of software crashes and parts of the phone that won't work?
If it is possible, can somebody explain to me how I can do it? Do I first need to change the the built.prop our do I need to flash the 80210a stock ROM?

Yes, I tried it and it worked. There is a thread on XDA that I followed. Have to look it up which thread it was.
Wondering what the diferences are btw??
What's the difference between D80210a and D80210b? Regardless of the letters a/b, i can flash roms for D802 right?

Hi guys. Sorry for MySpace late response but my girlfriend and I are working in our house at the moment and it are very busy times.
I don't know if there are a lot of differences but I live in Europe and I like to have the European software. Just to make sure that I have the best connections on networks. Probably I just imagine that it will make a difference.

Hi,
I had the D80210b-HKG-XX and changed it with the D80210a-EU-XX using that guide. It worked. I had the LTE issue and after upgrading firmware it is solved.
My question is: Can I still receive OTA updates? If it is so, the updates will be for the old HKG firmware or the european one?

The upgrades will be given in accordance with your IMEI meaning: You will recieve HKG updates, but its preferred NOT to take them!

so in order to upgrade again the firmware I have to use the same guide.
PS
I hope that for the future kitkat stock rom there will be a similar procedure

This maybe a stupid question but I will ask anyways.
I am from Cyprus and I have a rooted i9505.
As you already know firmware 4.3 has been rolled out. My friend owns the same i9505 bought from another company here. We are on the same carrier. He has got the update on Kies to upgrade on 4.3 but I still didnt get it yet. Is there a reason for it?
Is there a program to check from where my phone gets the upgrade from?
I dont know if you could understand me.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Go into settings>more>about
Click "About" and scroll down until you see "Baseband",
then see if yours and your friend's phone have the same
baseband. (Most likely it's not the same.)
Or perhaps your phone is "rooted".
If it's rooted it will NOT get the update.

I don't think there's any way of checking warranty status like Apple products. But as it was only released last year in April time wise it should still be in warranty, just depends on where you got the phone from and maybe if you need proof of purchase etc

thnx i successfully used warranty on one of my two galaxy s4 .. they repaired unit .. the problem was that phone was rejectin sim even when sim was inserted .. i have now unit repaired brill
BUT
I have another unit but the problem is that volume button down playing up .. it pressing it down randomly and phone ending up in vibration mode...
want to send them too for replacement ...

no since i uploaded those pictures with serial numbers after that it stopped !??!
do u think someone can stole my serial number ?
am on omega v18 rooted it was all working perfectly
Doubt the serial number check would've have done anything, back up your current rom and return to stock to see if it's still playing up

do u have link for international stock rom ? i have only 3uk stock rom there is that stupid 3uk operator boot animation..
Well, you'll need to return it to stock 3uk firmware unless you want to go through changing the csc from 3uk's to the unbranded one. But then that might mess about with any warranty claim so it's best to keep it with 3uk firmware etc

no this one is unlocked .. tho .. i rooted b4 then i wanted go back but i couldn't find original rom version so i downloaded stock 3uk version but that cannot be otherwise they wont repair it ..

You dial it for production date.What exact firmware are you after.Is it 3uk or btu, and 4.2 or 4.3.You can get them from sammobile, just join and input the info and youll get a link from terrafile.Takes a couple of hours to download.

Right now it's impossible, sorry.
He didn't need to google it.All the forum is written that can't downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.3.If some one look's at his profile he had only one post.He create his acount only for asking this.Is too hard to search and look for him.This post must be deleted by a moderator.

I see You have the first Kitkat rom to N9005 XXUENA6.
What Rom 4.3 You want try to install? I will try on my Note3 because I have that bootloader.

Tried on my Note3 a 4.3 without bootloader 4.3 under BL 4.4.2. Not work. FORGET.

You can't flash live software onto a demo version due to having no radio on it, well it can be done but it's a right pain playing with the files, a couple of people have managed it but it's really not worth it in all honesty. You can (soft) brick very easily and it's not so easy to recover from it.

what is ur device code N900 or N9005 ???
search for ur software file and upgrade it easly do not worry

FYI - Demo units are different to a normal working device. It is NOT just a case of "search for ur software file and upgrade it easly do not worry"
