I was just wondering when installing Lg stock roms i always seem to get setupwizard has failed and i have to delete it from system. This only happened on flex roms but I have decided to try Black pearl stock and it has happened on this one too. Is this normal or is it something with my phone? all roms are installed with full wipe any help would be great
I don't think it's normal because I never had that issue. I guess u need to flash stock rom and do a factory reset to get rid of it.

Just installed the UK stock rom over the EE branded version. The guide I read said about factory reseting the phone. How vital is that? I hate reinstalling apps and configuring the settings and accounts.

it is always advisable to do a factory reset after flashing a new firmware .. however its up to u.. if u face any reboots or crashes or stucked at boot LOGO then dont blame

If you don't want to do it then only do it if things start crashing.
Installed many times always stuck on bootloop. File is only ever 200mb so im guessing im trying to install an update on its own. Any links and advice please

yeah same here dude can't install any CM based roms on my i9505 international it just doesnt boot...
but its fine with Google Edition roms and stock though
I used foxhound rom for a few months then i wanted that stock feel so use omega rom now but cant get 3minit framework to work on the mh6 build. Cant download v10 again of omega either can only fond v11. I suggest omega rom to u

Do you guys factory reset after flashing CM?
The best way to install is to flash Official CWM recovery from their website (Google Clockworkmod), download .img file and flash with SGS4 FLASHER from Play Store.
Boot to recovery
Go to mounts and storage
format system, data, cache. (make sure you've done a backup of current ROM before doing ths)
Then flash CyanogenMod ROM
Then factory reset
Then reboot
You should be fine
If you get stuck on splash screen it's cool, Just hold power down and try again. You may need to keep doing this till you see CyanogenMod boot animation. I've had to do it 4 times before it would finally boot. It's normal though just something weird with CM10.2 kernel. If you flash a custom kernel it boots fine everytime

Yeah i always factory reset before a fresh install of a rom. So the file is actually 200mb then? Seems a bit strange to me.

I never had problems installing CM.
I have Phil CWM.
I used the option to wipe for a clean install from the CWM and then installed the zip and after that reboot.
I am on cm 10.1.3 RC2 and all is good
I use phil cwm !! I try all the possible ways to format stuff im flashing roms about 4 years now and know how to flash them... But this CM10.2 just doesnt work for me !! I even used twrp but just doesnt work... Once this thing came afater flashin , it was updating apps and after that got stock on starting apps

Hey guys... hoping somebody could help with this.
Everytime I try to flash CM 10.2 or 11 or Gummys Kit Kat ROM I end up losing wifi and access to the Play Store.
It'll ask me for my password for a wifi network and then save it but won't connect.
When I try to login to the play store it either wont update/download the apps or wont even log me in.
I've used the appropriate Clockwork or TWRP to flash the ROM's along with full wipes each time. I've also tried wifi fixes when I get the ROM's installed. I even tried to go back to stock from Malladus and reflash but no luck.
Try a reflash with system unmounted? Also verify that it's a working gapps package

Just tried with system unmounted... no luck. I've used 2 different gapps. Nothing. Only thing I can think of is using Flashify, but I dont recall seeing others having problems with it.

I haven't flashed anything yet but the Play Store sounds like GAPPS.
Perhaps you grabbed a bad kernel somewhere. I'd try to flash stock back and see if everything normalizes.

Yeah I was good going back to stock but still no luck when trying to go to CM or Gummy.
I only used Flashify to go from TWRP to Clockwork as it was needed to flash kit kat. I didn't actually flash a ROM with it.
Long story I need to get a app from from the Australian Android Market using a app called Market Enabler. I'm trying to flash a new ROM but I keep getting a status 7 error saying I can't flash because in HLTE not HLTESPR. I've tried using market enabler again but there's no Sprint opinion. please I don't wanna be stuck with this ROM for ever anyway to bypass this or restoring it to HLTESPR?
I'm using clockworkmod recovery. And I'm trying to flash CM 11 other touchwiz Roms work just stock Android ones I'm having a isuss with.

Status 7 is usually recovery error.
Either switch out to TWRP and/or choose unmount system then flash your ROM.zip

Hello, I have recently rooted my phone, installed TWRP and then I have installed Cyanogen mod, without installing gapps, now I think I have bricked my G2 International version. I have set the phone 15 minutes at first boot and it keeps looping. Any help would be appreciated.
Anyone? I can only access the download mode..

If your phone can power on, it is NOT bricked! A phone is bricked when it starts behaving like an actual brick: no power, no response etc.
If you can access download mode, flash a stock ROM and start again.
Yea I know cuz I bricked my previous phone and also the phone m currently using was also bricked like I flashed the lg g3 cloudy rom but finally I accomplished my task like I unbricked my phone man...... But I successfully completed and now m using it..... Try to factory reset.... That's how I know ?

My F320l Korean Variant can not power on, no notificationslight but it vibrates everytime i turned it on. Is there any chance repairing it? No problem with hardware, im sure with that..please help
M sorry about that but have you tried to restore the factory settings by pressing power buttons?
