What tweaks are there out there for the Arc?
1. I know you can overclock the CPU
2. There is some cm7 tweaks in freexperia, can you use thoose hacks on rooted stock?
3. On some rom there is tweaked sqllite tricks, oc gpu etc, any use for thoose in the Arc?
4. I've searched but cant find, anyone with some advice?
This is, more or less, the same hardware as Desire HD, why so few tricks (or me not able to find anyone...)?
Thanks!

Hello,,
I am runnig FXP CM9.0 on my Xperia Arc.
When i want to undervolt with my android freezes im still get max undervolt -25mv
And with Acronium with can go far as -75mv
What is the problem?
Thnx in advance
correct me if im wrong,as far as i know fxp kernel doesnt support uv..
from my ARC using I.See.Ass
I also think it does not support, but I think you should install another system in the arc to get more performance and less battery drain ... CM9 still has many bugs ...
As you can see our phone is still good ;D

Cool I'd love a topic on power efficiency of both chips though, probably a threaded single core vs 2 arm cores.

First of all, why should we all post our scores if the OP of this thread (you) don't share his score?
Secondly (just for the record) benchmark scores are nice digits but are in no way related to device and/or software performance - e.g. how "fast" the phone is.
Also, there is a official benchmark thread already, check it out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2179831
Regards
I'm getting a xperia Z as a replacement of my broken Z ultra ,so i'll recieve it soon, then i'll s urely post the benchmark...well tell me ,hows the flagship after 2 years? Good for daily use? How's the camera?I've read the overprocesssing issue,is it still preesent in custom roms ?and is it fast ebough for moderate usage?
Hey guys, I recently purchased the Xperia X and ive been playing around with the developer options on marshmallow. I noticed the 2d gpu rendering makes use of the adreno 510 more efficiently because the gpu uses less power compared to the cpu cores, ive gained around 2-3 hours of battery along with much faster and smoother UI across all form of apps.
However, I need some people to test this more often to really see more benefits
Cheers
my friend i will test it

indeed mate,it was the first thing i did when i got this phone, your statement its true,is not a placebo effect,it uses more the GPU not the CPU.

Soo,,,after i tested old tweaks i made for my xplaystation rom in 2011 for xperia play,i have very interesting news
First of all,for anyone that want to test the tweak
Download root explorer paid from playstore, give root permissions
Go to,System/lib/egl and delete the 2 files are inside,
Download my zip and copy the files to that folder, then give permission
like in the pictures i upload,
go to system, settings, enable developer menu and enable force gpu rendering,
Reboot and enjoy!!!
Video test of proof

If that is for the Xperia X, you'll first have to describe how to root it XD

I enabled it as soon as I got N, and the battery has been excellent (even better than on M). I should probably turn it off and compare...
Forcing it makes the phone get hot really fast using the camera.
