Hi
I updated my SM-N9005 International non-rooted model to official Android 4.4.2 over Kies3.
After the update my device is putting out sound from its loudspeaker and headphones at the same time. It can not be an application problem because I have tried different apps (PlayerPro, MX Player, Samsungs native music player and other media playback apps) but the issue is still there. After a restart its fine for the first time I use an app and after that it starts butting the sound out from the speaker and the headphones again.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Has anyone found a solution?

OK. I will write something more as I have a problem with it.
I have a problem with audio service in Note 3. Stock ROM. When I am loosing connection with Internet the music stops to play. Not always but in about 90% of times when I am turning off mobile data or WiFi. It makes me insane. It doesn't depend on application. I have checked stock player, google music, poweramp, playerpro... in all cases the same story.
I have even recovered fabric/default settings of phone and it didn't help.
Edit: when I am getting connection to network music also stops. Grrrrr

I noticed that the sound is playing in mono. No matter what I'm using music player sound in headphones always is in mono. This is not problem with headphones, on other hardware plays good.
My OS is Android KitKat 4.4.2, stock ROM with root and xposed. Anyone noticed that issue?

bluetooth stutters when playing music.
i had this problem since the first day i tried play music via bluetooth, on stock kitkat rooted kitkat, even stock lollipop and cyanogen cm12 nightlies
i think its a hardware problem?
someone else who got this problem?
is the bluetooth radio in s5 weak?
It works fine with iphone 5c on the same receiver, it plays smooth and fine. but with my galaxy s5 it stutters.
im thinking of abandoning playing music on my phone and instead buy a mp3 player with bluetooth function (if it even exists) and stop buying s*msung

I have a strange problem with mi car, my mobile and playing throught bluetooth with spotify, let's see if someone can help me a little
Car: Seat Leon 3 with multimedia audio system A2DP + AVRCP (unknown version)
Mobile: Samsung Galaxy S5 4.4 / 5.0
App: Spotify (lastest)
Spotify audio works over car's bluetooth, also play/pause/next/etc... but the problem is that TRACK INFO is not showing on Media System Screen. But, if I open Samsung stock player, play a song, stop it without closing it and then play again with spotify, now it works but without timelapse of the song.
Anyone could explain me whats wrong and how to solve it? It's doing the same with android 4.4 and 5.0, I couldn't try other phones already.

your AVRCP version is too high. go into setting developer mode and change AVRCP cu 1.4 or 1.3
Hi there,
I recently bought my Asus Nexus player and set it up yesterday. Now when listening to all other programs the audio that comes out is perfect. No issue at all but with Netflix all I hear is a static sound. I have searched around for this issue and could not find it. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, restarted the Nexus Player, Factory reset the device and also changed HDMI ports just to tru something and nothing has changed. Again all audio on other apps is great (Youtube, Plex, MNA Gametime etc) but with Netflix I can not hear anything but static sound.

Upgraded from bootloader unlocked 5.0 to 5.1.1 and encountered the same problem. Anyone has a fix?
While the video is playing, go into the video settings and change the audio from Dolby Digital 5.1+ to 2.0 Stereo, bug in new netflix has broken surround sound.
