Hi guys, I'm extremely troubled. I am running the stock firmware 10b. I rooted and tried to install custom roms. When I flash custom roms, I get some errors. I seem to be able to flash gapps And other mods, but I just can't install custom roms. Is there any fix?

Has anyone made a flashable rooted stock rom zip? A helpful user yesterday made a zip for unrooted stock rom but I think it would be useful having a rooted stock rom as well.
Dont know if its possible but it would make many situations a lot easier.

Yah you can go back to your stock ROM after custom recovery, doesn't effect ROM.....also you can make a backup just fine
Sweet! Thanks. Can you recommend a stable 4.4 rom?

Paranoid Android, Mahdi, OmniRom, SlimKat etc2 ...
you have to taste them all to know which one suits your requirement but those 4 definitely at the top of the piles
Awesome thanks for all the help!

After I update my kk stock rom, im unable to boot up and keep staying at samsung logo after flashing custom kernel, which i dont have any problem on previous kk rom. But im able to root.
The screenshot is the rom that i upgraded to.
Any idea guys ?

Maybe the kernel you flashed isn't meant for your os? Try booting to recovery and factory reset and if that doesn't work flash another kernel.

ive had the AT&T d800 for a year and a half now. i used ioroot to root the phone, and autorec to have a custom recovery. whenever i try to flash a rom, it always fails without doing anything. i dont want to go through the trouble to revert the phone back to stock jelly bean just so i can flash roms again. how can i flash roms without fully restoring my phone back to jelly bean?
Current Version
Android: 4.4.2 Kitkat
ROM version: Stock D80020k
TWRP: 2.7.0.0
tired of stock always being buggy...
Did you heard of autorec? It restores jellybean bootloader which allows you to flash roms which still uses the old loki method without the need to restore back to antthing else. Btw I also suggest to update recovery. If you do autorec, choose the right version for your model.

Yes just flashed the bumped recovery. If you would ever upgrade to the kk bootloader for some reason like custom lp stock roms then you have to have an bumped recovery else you will get an lg security error

Before you can install Xposed, you need a custom recovery and a deodexed ROM.
I have custom recovery but what about deodexd rom? Have to install custom rom?

Custom ROMs are generally deodexed.
And it might be easier than deodexing your current ROM.
Ok thnx
