[Q] [Request] Adding more "quick setting" buttons to stock camera. - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a way to modify any camera files or anything, to add more Quick settings buttons?
If someone not sure what are those, I've circled them on the attached screenshot.
Current 3 is just not enough if you know anything about photography and like to set camera manually.
I don't know why Samsung did not fit more in there are there're plenty of room to comfortably fit at least 2 more.
Ideally I'd like to squeeze 3 extra buttons in there (Exposure, Metering, WB) but I can live with 2 extras.
Any ideas anyone?

Any ideas, anyone?

[Q] S-Pen multitouch

Hey there,
I just ordered my Note yesterday (coming back to xda-developers after switching to nokia for a few years ) and trying to spend the time while waiting for it.
I have seen some videos about the S-Pen capabilities to take screenshots, and show the menu etc... but I was wondering if it had a way to pinch/zoom in it.
If not any alternatives in doing this while holding the pen or you typically put the pen aside zoom and pick it up again ?
thanks
I believe you can zoom on a selected image / cropped image using both pen or fingers.
If I remember - there are six indicators on the image (3 on the left and right on the right) of whatever you select - they are small black arrows in a round circle which can be used for resizing the image or moving them around.

Sony Xperia T Onscreen button shapes on Nexus 4 possible?

Hi guys the title says it all, im just wondering if its possible to change the shapes of the onscreen buttons at the bottom to ones that look like the ones on the sony styled phones? Anybody here have the skills to do it?
Not sure about the ones your describing specifically, however you can change the navigation buttons. Do some searching, it's around here somewhere. I'll see if I can find it real quick...
Here we go..not sure if the ones you're looking for are included, but there's a bunch of options!

BTW on Zylon Rom it's very simple to change the action & Icon. I think it allows you to change it to any image you have on your phone, but haven't messed with it yet. I believe AOKP has similar/same feature.
P.S.
Yaa post #500! :highfive:

Click to collapse
Haven't Warm Vintage and Cold Vintage
download cam filter apps?
I'd also like to know if it is possible to put the S3's camera app on the S4. The "warm vintage" and "cold vintage" filters are great to use, and I'd like to use them while taking pictures, not apply a filter afterwards. I know the S4 has a vintage effect, but it's not quite the same.
I know it seems crazy to backtrack and use a "lesser" camera app, but I'd like to know if it is possible. Anyone?

Camera Buttons don't work with Small Screen Display setting

I like to have my display and font size as small and sharp as possible. However after setting display size to small on latest Nougat update on my Droid turbo 2, the 2 buttons on the bottom of the camera app no longer work and it just takes a picture every time no matter where I click. Its the rotate button for Front/Back camera swap and Record/Picture swap button. Is there anyway to fix this? For now I am using a 3rd party camera app.
Also on a side note there is no current way to unlock the bootloader on these phones? I would like to use TWRP and maybe a custom rom.

GIF maker from S10?

On the S8, S9, and S10 series of Galaxy phones from Samsung (and probably others), their edge bar has an option for creating GIF's. What it does is you can pick the rectangle or circle, and it puts that shape on your screen, dimming everything outside of it, and places a record button below it. You can then watch a video, view something through your camera, mess around in an app, or do whatever but whatever is inside that shape on your screen will be recorded and saved to a GIF file. You can also resize and reposition that shape so you can get exactly what you want.
Does anyone know if there's an app similar to this that I can get? I used the crap out of this on my S10 and its literally the only thing i miss about that phone.
I really just need something that'll record a square of my size that i can move around on my screen, thats it... If it even exists...
This is wrong section pal
This is the apps section right?
