No Don't think you get kernel with it just modem
But I may be wrong think kernels only come with the rom or flash on there own
Found the stock kernel... Well... Its something closest to the stock kernel you can get. Its totally stock with one little small change.
Putting the link to thread here so others can see

Hi guys whats the latest stock rom to flash to that does not have that new bootloader so that i dont break warrantee ect by flashing the wrong rom.
i heard people saying not to flash to the latest as it gives you a bootloader that samsung can track and removed warantee ect....
is there any latest roms with old bootloader ????
running a samsung galaxy s4 GTI9505 with rom OMEGA 9.0 with old bootloader UBMGA baseband
just dont want to flash the wrong thing lol
EDIT update, ok been reading a few things and OMEGA is good to go now as it does not overwrite your bootloader
does anyone have a fast mirror to 13.2 omega rom ???? im only getting 120kb its going to take 5 hours lol

In short there's no way of going from 4.4.2 back to 4.3 once u updated your bootloader(bl) to latest na6 . your best bet now is to try custom rom and kernel and hope it will solve your problem. Hope it helps.

Hi.
Im on 4.2.2 with root (knox free) and would like to update my S4 I9505 to 4.3/4.4 and root without tripping knox, so that I can have 4G from my carrier.
Is it possible to do this. Would I need a knox free rom, because I had a S4 before which I updated and the wifi and carrier signals stopped working along with other stuff.
Thanks in advance

If you have a KnoxFree 4.2.2 then Flash a Custom recovery and then download any 4.4.2 or .4.3 Custom rom and flash it via recovery . then Update your Modem to 4.3/4.4.2 , to fix your Dropping signal issue ..If your Gonna flash let say 4.4.2 custom rom, then Flash only the zip rom and custom kernel iE Ktkernel or Jeboo kernel

Sorry im a noob at this stuff
I think I have CWM recovery already installed. So can I just flash a 4.3/4.4 rom for example the Cyanogenmod, then do I just update modem to 4.3/4.4.
Thanks
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Also can I just not update modem to get LTE since my carrier only added it on 4.3rom.

If your Flashing a Cynogenmod then feel free to follow the Dev's Instruction. Because all you need to do is Flash the Rom and Update your Modem but not the LTE aka WifiFix aka NON-HLOS. and for 4.4.2 You need to flash a working kernel Jeboo/KT .

Flash
1. Custom recovery
2. Download/Copy the rom to Sd card
3. Make nandroid Backup/ Follow the Developer Instruction on how to flash their Rom.
4. Fullwipe
5. Flash the rom/ or Flash the 4.3 modem via odin
6. Reboot.
7. Done. Easy right?
Hey guys.
Had some great advice in some of my other questions and I thank everyone who posted. Everything always helps.
Just before I do this, as I've been informed that you can't go back to 4.3 after updating bootloader to 4.4.2.
Which would be the latest 4.4.2 firmware I should flash for N9005 in Australia? I then want to flash custom roms like Xnote etc. Knox will be triggered after I flash a custom recovery am I right?
Thanks guys. As far as I can see NC3 is the latest.

Oh ok cool thank you.
Thing is what if I was to flash the Netherlands firmware, will I still be able to use it stock if I wish in Australia? I'll probably go straight to custom rom but just seeing. I'm worried if I flash a certain countries firmware I'll brick my device...

no u won't brick, as long as u choose the correct firmware for your device.
and do a proper step by ODIN PC.
btw, u open 2 similar threads ?
Yeah I know, just trying to get more info. As a thread gets seen once, it's forgotten about pretty quickly and not many people get to see it, or have the opportunity to comment. especially in the q&a section.

Another thing I wanted to check was if I flashed ND3...can use like NB7 or NB3 or any earlier 4.4.2 rom?? Custom obviously? Heard some scary things if you go back...maybe that's to a non-knox firmware...
Thanks!!

You can flash other (earlier) 4.4.2 roms but you can`t downgrade to a 4.3 rom afaik
Oh cool. That's fine then. All these have open MSCs right? So I could technically use it stock? There will be an English option? I mean if it's all on there I don't know why Samsung doesn't release it at a faster rate, ir more at once... If indeed it works fine. I'll probably change straight away to a custom rom but still, it'd be nice to see what vanilla kit kit is like.
