Hi
I was on NA6 Kitkat (Rooted with CF auto root), and wanted to install V37 Temasek.
So, i installed latest CWM 6.0.4.6
I flashed V37 + Gapps (with all wipes done) = Bootloop at start
"Kernel is not blablabla enforcing" again & again...
Had to reflash stock NA6 to got a working N9005...
So, impossible to flash non TW roms for the moment ?
If this thread can avoid people to waste time like i did... :good:

Hi guys
I just have a few questions, sorry for being a total noob.
I have the following build JSS15J.N9500XXUBMJ1
I have already rooted by phone with Odin and backe up my stuff.
I want to flash the Bobcat Rom, but unsure which one to use since there is 2 and i am unsure which one to use
[SM-N9005][NOTE3][KitKat 4.4.2][XXUENB4]_BoBCaTROM_EVO_v6.0
[SM-N9005][NOTE3][XXUDMK2]_BoBCaTROM_EVO_v3.0
which is the right one or will either one work, but has different features.
Flash Stock firmware with Odin
==> INSTRUCTIONS TO FLASH 4.2.2 OFFICIAL FIRMWARE <==
4. Flash CWM Recovery kitkat compatible (Thx @Chenglu ==> http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2454079)
will the bootloader be upgraded to 4.4?
is it possible to leave the bootloader update?
if so, can i still install the bobcat rom on the stock bootloader?
5. Boot to recovery, and Install BoBCaTROM with Full Wipe
Is it necessary to full wipe the note 3 when installing the bobcat rom?
Thnaks guys and i hope you guys can answer my silly question

MJ1 means 4.3. Flash v3.0. V4 and above are for 4.4.2 bootloader only.
Clean install is advised to avoid any issue later.

Can i use this one currently on my phone or do i need a later version
Root your device and install a custom recovery... IMPORTANT! flash procedure tested only with latest CWM made by Chenglu.

One last question.
Is Xposed framework and active modules build into the bobcat rom?
Also the same with Wanamaker Xposed?
I also notice that I can flash my own theme in recovery with stock or universal if I am correct.
Does the battery icon have to be done separately.
- Install Xposed framework and active modules (BoBCaTROM Control)
- Choose your Advanced settings by Wanam Xposed

Xposed framework provided but can't remember what modules included. You can however download modules from the framework itself.
You can choose whether to install stock samsung theme or bobcat theme.
Og battery mode included with >70 styles
Hello i need some input and help
I bought a new galaxy s4 value edition gt-i9515
So cusom recovery root and roms work
Recovery and rom only without touch and radio
Used cwn and rom from 9505.
So i think its a kernel issue...
As the device came with kitkat and i,m migrated from mtk platform where its possible to create twrp touch with stock kernel my question is there anything similar cause cwn from 9505 works not well (after restore i had to full wipe cause everthing fc, s)
Also i know that i have to repack a kk kernel for every rom version slimkat cwm stock...
Or has this changed?
So my thoughts i take the stock kk kernel and repack it to work with slimkat and my touch problems have gone.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I have both kernel but no pc and don't know how to repack.
So is her someone who can help me out
The better solution would be to add support for i9515 to some custom kernel but quick and dirty repack would do.
Thanks alot

Hello,
so at this moment i got stock 5.0.1 rooted but i get crashes sometimes [cuz of towelroot i think] so i want to get something more stable.
Question is : can i install ROM's for i9505 ?
I got one requirement - Viper4Android must work
I found this ROM's interresing will they work on my phone? :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop/rom-super-wizcyan-29-nov-15-t3259562
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop/rom-crdroid-t3017844
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop/rom-resurrection-lollipop-v5-5-5-t3195202
I think you need a special kernel for the I9505 roms to work on the I9515.
You can find more info here.
I would be careful.
You could also flash back to stock, flash TWRP, and install supersu from TWRP.

It is because you flashed ROM that is ONLY for lollipop 5.1.1.
And you have 6.0.1, that is why those orange lines are appearing.
Now you have to flash stock firmware, and next time you want to flash custom ROM read carefully.
