Ok guys, hi at all. Finally I've made my first rom, and the first thing that I've done is to share it with you
Tired of the buggy and laggy stock 4.1.2 I tried to switch to CM and....I love my phone. Yeah it has some bugs but is MOOOOOORE SMOOTH, MORE...ALL!
HastaBean is based at the moment on cm 10.2 (11/18) by the awesome team canjica and I will try to update it weekly to the last cm
FEATURES
1. All CyanogenMod features
2. Battery tweaks: Deepest sleep state set to 4, disabled fair sleepers, I have decreased the charging voltage to 400 maybe for saving battery life and other;
3. Internet tweaks: many ipv4 changes, a speeder networking
4. Memory tweaks: i have modified low memory killer parameters for better memory management and multitasking
5. Kernel tweaks: a speeder sd card, mali tweaks;
6. SystemUI modded: kitkat icons, kitkat UI, transparent status bar, framework modded
7. Debloated
8. All zipaligned
9. Vacuuming command to vac and reindex you databases (type vac on terminal emulator and the script will start)
10. Modded host, no more invasive ads
11. Build prop tweaks of course (wifi, quick reboot, scrolling, etc)
12. nova as default launcher
13. Es file manager as default file manager
PRE-INSTALLATION​
First of all ensure that you are almost running 4.1.2. You can't directly install this from GB, first update to JB, root, cwm and then you can flash this.
Do any kind of backup you need, or a simply nandroid, to save all your data. I'm not responsible of any damage that I can procure to your phone, but in 99.9% you should be safe. :fingers-crossed:
FIRST TIME INSTALLATION​
1. Wipe data/factory reset
2. Wipe cache
3. Wipe dalvik
4. Install rom
5. Install gapps
6. reboot and enjoy!!!!!
YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE ALSO FOR UPDATES. (WIPE DATA ONLY WHEN I SAID TO YOU; IF NOT DO ONLY WIPE CACHE
KNOWN BUGS
All the cm 10.2 bugs.
1. When long press 2g/3g tile in qs you have a fc
2. Sometimes you may have dark screen while recording a video
4. Some problems with omx decoders
GPS IMPROVEMENT
If for you gps is really weak you can try to change your gps.conf
From this page download your gps.conf of your state and copy it to system/etc and take it permission as rw-r-r (644)

Thank you! Yeah just a minute. I'm uploading them

I just installed it and I can say that I haven't seen something to impress me so far. CM boot animation, CM start-up configuration menu.
I can't check the performance because it started to download automatically all my previous installed apps. Is this normal?
I will stress it for a few days and come back with my opinion.

I think yes. For me it always happens when i do a fresh install. Mate...this is my first rom, i have done the possible...and you perfectly know that cm 10.2 has some bugs

when u say u did all those 'tweaks', what do they do & what exactly are the changes from CM?
your features list could be more specific.

[ROM 2.3.8] CyanMobile eXperience - [27/12/2013]

Hello dear xda users!
This is my effort to bring CyanMobile eXperience for the U8800Pro.
This rom is built using the Linaro Toolchain.
Everything works in this ROM (including FM radio). However if you find something not working please inform me in the comment section.
But please don't spam this thread if you can't find where the x,y option is in System Settings.
I am not responsible for any kind of damage happening to your phone by using this ROM. YOU and only YOU choose to use this. Don't blame me or CyanogenMod Team if something ever goes wrong with your phone.

What is CyanMobile?
CyanMobile is an aftermarket ROM like CyanogenMod, MIUI, JoyOS, LewaOS and others that are built from source...

Installation Instructions:
You must be on Gingerbread Baseband (404020) in order to flash this !!!
1) Boot into Recovery (CWM)
2) Wipe Data/Factory Reset
3) Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache & Wipe Battery Stats
4) Install .zip (choose the one you downloaded)
Note: First boot will take a lot of time. It may seem like a bootloop, but it is NOT. Phone will eventually boot. Just wait

I can fix this issue this weekend.

I installed this ROM, I had no issues with bootloop. Everything booted fine from the first time. Maybe because as always, I take extra step and format /system.

I was having bootloop and i make format system also.
Anyway it's not a problem ...
All needed for flashing properly is the below procedure ..
1 boot into recovery
2 advanced/ boot into recovery
3 wipe data factory reset
4 wipe cache partition
5 advanced/ wipe dalvik cache
6 mounts and storage / format system
7 install zip from sd card / choose zip from sd card / cyanmobile.....zip
8 after installation finished continue with ..
9 wipe cache partition
10 advanced / wipe dalvik cache
11 reboot system now
12 Done, phone will boot easily ...
After that you can boot into recovery to flash gapps ..
My problem is languages, i'm looking for it ... and will see ...
ok, all great , greek included and everything is just fine for me
allready add some init.d scripts and tweaks , gapps , modify buid.prop a little ( just to enable setup wizzard at first boot ) , and flash it , i;m exploring further now and i will add some more modds , haha ...

Which version of gapps is recommended for this ROM?

I think is better if you add some screenshoot to show this rom... not all know 2.3.8...

oh great Moihack after a long time. In fact my 8800 was brought back from hibernation of three months to test this ROM and I find it wonderful prima facie. Huge huge number of options in settings which gives innumerable playing options but also confuses. Thames OP for bringing back my Huawei back to life after a long gap. A ROM worth trying if there is no inhibition for using GB in times of KK.

Its a super-awesome ROM!!
Anyway, there are 2 critical bugs-
1. There are no sliders/rings/rotary tabs appearing for answering/rejecting the call! I replaced Phone.apk from ur CM7.2 so, now I can answer/reject calls.. but some png's are misplaced (looks very wierd, its a temporary workaround).
2. There is no "turn on USB storage button" available when we click on "click here to copy files to/from sdcard" in the notification panel, when connected to PC. The screen comes, but just the button is missing for actually turning it ON. (systemUI.apk & framework-res.apk are to be blamed, I guess)

Both things you mention are not bugs
For the 1st one, just dig in a little more in the settings. You will find it eventually like I did.
For the second one, CyanMobile is designed this way. There is no button for turning on usb storage. You just press the android logo on usb storage prompt and this acts as your button . If I recall correctly this is written somewhere when plugging the phone to usb.

If i understand well , you must go to ... settings / cyanmobile settings / interface / interface tweaks / notifications power widget / and choose tiles from first option, or else add a screenshot of your problem

If you don't mind me asking, how's Project Lucky working out for you regarding any bugs or issues ? I've been on official CM12.1 for a long time now and considering to switch to it.

Actually its pretty good. Im using it as my daily driver...
There are random reboots very rarely...
The theme store doesnt work but u can still add themes... ( i will write a guide later)
RIL works perfectly... no issues

Download themes from the url i've given below or search google for touchwiz themes. After downloading ur theme, install it as normal .apk and longpress on the home screen. now you can see an option called themes. Select the theme you downloaded and you are good to go!
but the thing is, it changes the wallpaper and the icons only. no more changes.

Weird before my GPU died having the ability to work on J3 previously E5 port everything was changing when applied themes. Maybe you use KK ones

IDK dude...! I used the themes from the link and they worked perfectly. I used them on PL 1.1
I did not use samsung's theme store insted used PL'S own theme centre

Checked okay the reason you get only wallpaper and icons is because they ate KK themes. On my J3 port I tested these: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...heme-apps-alternative-samsung-galaxy-t3315103 . If you can test on PL 1.1 or 1.2 it would be nice
My results on these themes above are
1: J3 2016 port: Work like charm
2: Current E7 Debloat port: IDK...
3: On7 Marshmallow: Nothing.. (SystemUI has stopped)
4: Motion ROM: Nothing

Well my GPU on my computer where I was working this ROM died so I decided to cancel this. I'll remake one. I'll try when I'll be able to and post results here

So I begun reworking on J3 port the bad thing is its gonna be hard as I'm on a Notebook and recompiling jars are extremely slow
Here's a screenshot it needs more cleaning I think ?

Don't worry I will rebase to spreadtrum J3 which has working com.android.phone. I just wanted to test qualcomm J3 libs if they function well with MotionROM(we can't boot to J3 if they don't).
If you want to learn more...
it's ~400mb lighter than MotionROM itself XD. Also has modern Samsung camera with panorama working unlike Project Lucky(Just i need to fix the resolution of front camera). Finally I was able to make it use just 41% of memory after cleaning unlike motion rom that kept 52%

More great news. I'll try to rebase and do a cleanup of my ROM so i can make our rom a bit more greater. I'll release a test build when needed so anyone can test. MORE EXCITING NEWS!!! after getting insults, threats, and attacks from "Grand 2" users I stopped making it cross-compatible with their device. That means I can focus only for our little "S3 Neo" so that means lighter in compressed size and also I don't need to worry for bugs that much .

[GUIDE][MULTI-BOOT] Mi Mix multi-booting with Dual Boot Patcher

I've been using the latest Marsmallow based Epic rom for a long time, which is quite enough to be having beloved Xposed. So call it boredom or BS, I've managed to get Dual-boot patcher work on my mix although figuring it out was a PITA. NOTE: So before you doing anything crazy like trying this app, you must know:

Launch the DBP(Dual Boot Patcher) APK, give the Root acces and permissons,

IMPORTANT TIP: If the app crashes when you tap ROMs; Just go Patch zip file tab and patch any zip file no matter what(a little sized zip file just to avoid crash of ROMs tab)
[*]Once you get there, it will ask for setting the Kernel, tap to SET NOW,
[*]Tap to 3 dots menu button right next to Primary rom,
[*]Tap to UPDATE RAMDISK then reboot the device,

[*]SAVE the patch zip somewhere, tap to CHECK/TICK button on the corner to patch it,
[*]MENU > ROMs > tap to Red FLOATING BUTTON on the bottom and select ADD PATCHED FILE > Select the zip you patched like: XXX.rom_data-slot_xxx.zip
[*] An annoying popup will ask some stuff, tap to CHANGE LOCATION > DATA SLOT, type an ID doesnt matter what,
[*] Tap to TICK, it will run an command window or some old looking arse stuff and you have to wait, DO NOT LEAVE the app until you see the script result like this:

[*] If you see an error, you're fk'd up Error is a new terror you know. Although it doesn't prevent you to boot; you better clean the f'n infected rom by ROMs > 3 dot button of the specific rom > WIPE ROM and select all the boxes.
[*] You can switch between the roms you patcher either in the app or flashing the Dualboot Utilities zip via TWRP.
Ps. I'll take a look at the flashing Gapps, mod zips for specific rom later on, probably easy to do. For now it's enough internet for me today.
[*]Yeah, flashed Gapps, Kernel etc by just Patching a zip file like Gapps-full.xxx_data-slot-xxx.zip which means you have to patch zip by selecting your target(Select your set ID for your rom).
NOTE: Resurrection Remix rom has got a modem verification string inside the updater-script, you can't(I couldn't) flash it until you remove that string and re-compress the rom zip as so then patch it or you already doing this multi booting process on RR rom. My primary rom is MM Epic, I succesfully booted into 8.2.4.0 Global stable and RR 0714(latest official i presume) roms, just saying.
SIDE NOTE: Can't get root to work on RR rom. The included magisk, previous versions, DX kernel, SuperSU nothing worked. What a pain in the arse.

The app is being biatch most of the times. Latest version never worked on my end, always crashed. But the version i've stated in the OP, the one which also crashes sometimes, but works generally. Clean cache and data of the app, uninstall and reinstall, before launching it, give the permissions it needs from app settings. Launch it, grant root permission, if does work; follow the steps of OP. It may crash once though, close the app from recents and re-launch. There is a reason of I call it a pain in the arse lol. Hopefully works.

I think it's depending on the base rom (Globe ROM). This rom has kernel mods and others system mods.

My primary is Epic 7.5.4(MM), has got some mods as yours. I see that the original thread is filled with crash reports but there is no(i didnt see) proper fix rather than using an another version but you've already tried, so.. Perhaps you can see the culprit though crash log.

Yeah, couldn't get root either on RR, on XenonHD. Haven't tried another one though.

I presume you're doing this on your device. Here is some visual content that may help you.
After Extracting(unzipping) remove script that mentioned before and:
Some file explorers don't need zip to be extracted, you can edit the content as you wish but, in my experience these explorers corrupt the zip. The clear way is what i just sent [emoji106]

Hello gents, I don't like bragging like ''I was right...'' but I was
I've removed (Wiped in Dual boot patcher app) all the roms except primary(can't be removed lol).
Then clean flashed RR latest official, I have root priviledges on it(also xposed), then patched and flashed miui_MIMIXGlobal_V8.2.4.0.MAHMIDL which is not pre-rooted miui rom.
So, patched SR2-SuperSU v2.79 and flashed it too. Voila, both roms are running with root priviledges. So the key was being on clean flashed RR rom then patching multi-boot roms. Thing i may try next is xposed on both(or multiple) roms but for now i can sleep in peace lol.
