[Q] Dissable Knox Security help? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Alright, I'll run down my problem and hopefully someone can help. I have looked at all of the threads and none have helped me . I am however, very confident one of you guys!!!
Alright, when I Updated to 4.3, I decided that I wanted to go to Cyanogenmod instead of the touchwiz from samsung. I had previously done it with my s3 and everything went well!! So I decided to give it a go. From the moment I tried to root my phone, a notification would pop up on my phone saying "Security information An application attempted to access system on your device without authorization. This attempt has been blocked."
It doesnt matter what method I use (mottochoper, terminal, mac, pc) I always get the same message and everything stops and whatever program I use tells me it couldn't finish.
I have a macbook, I tried uninstalling kies, rebooting my s4/mac, everything!! Nothing works because of this message.
I also tried to dissable and force stop Knox, but it just keeps happening.
I unchecked the box that allowed know to be activated under security, but it keeps happening!!!
I can't root my phone, and it makes me sad very sad ((( The closest I've come to rooting my phone was with the mac Cyanogenmod installer. It almost worked! But then, the security thing.
I have a Galaxy s4 from at&t, running 4.3, a macbook running 10.9, a bagged lunched I prepared for myself that could be yours, and internet access of course.
Someone help please!! Thank you in advance you beautiful folks you!!!!

[Q] Samasung Galaxy S4 SGH-S970G Help Plz!!!!

Ok, so first off I rooted my previous phone (a Verizon Motorola Droid X2) without any problems ever. I dropped Verizon as my carrier and switched to Straight Talk and I bought the Samsung Galaxy S4, after a few months of having it I decided to look for a way to root it. After a few days of browsing and reading about I found and root option that worked. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2565758) This saferoot worked and i had superuser and was able to do everything i wanted to.
I then went on the Google play store and installed apps that I previously had on my old device for rooted phones. Well I installed chainfire3D and opened it up and clicked install the drives (which then requires a reboot) after a sort time I noticed my phone was stuck on the loading screen and I can't get past it.
I then start looking for a unroot/unbrick option in order to restore my phone to default firmware and factory settings to get it to work again.
Now here is the dilemma...
Like it says in the title, the phone model is SGH-S970G and for the life of me I can't find this model's firmware anywhere.
plz help me asap!!!!
Thank you in advance for any useful information to help point me in the right direction or give me a solution!

If you get your phone fixed, I suggest you skip reinstalling Chainfire 3D. It specifically says it's not for Jelly Bean devices.

SM-G870A Failing to Update Past 4.4.2

Hey everyone!
I've got an interesting predicament here. A little back story: a while back I installed TowelRoot, and then Xposed Framework. Everything was kosher until I got an OTA update (I believe the NG3 update) and it killed the root. No problem, I'm fine without root. But now that Lollipop has come out, I want to update but can't. My buddy applied the same root, but did not do Xposed. The difference between our phones after that OTA update: mine says "Custom" with an unlocked padlock at the Samsung boot screen; his does not.
I read in another thread that someone took their phone to Best Buy and the guys at the Samsung booth were able to fix the problem because they can pull updates and apply them via USB. So we went there yesterday and they had no problem getting Lollipop on my buddy's S5 Active. Mine, however, would not take the update. The Samsung S.M.A.R.T. tool they use on the PC was saying that "my device is running an unauthorized operating system", even though I have never flashed a custom ROM.
When I go into download mode, the Knox flag does not appear to be tripped. I've also performed a clean factory reset with a data wipe and that still didn't allow me to update. Whenever I try to update, it downloads the entire 4.4.4 update (which needs to be done first, before the 5.0 update) and it starts to install, failing at 25%, without hesitation, every single time.
I've attached a couple of screenshots that I hope will help. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Have you resolved this issue, if so, would you mind sharing how you did it. I've been combing the net for a few days trying to discover what is going on and your issue appears to be exactly what I am experiencing. I've read about flashing back to my stock firmware using Odin but I cannot get into download mode, when I try and get there, the phone only says "recovery reboot" in blue small font on the top of the screen and reboots.
Thanks
Ladies and gents, I apologize for abandoning this thread. I forgot exactly how I got to get the phone to update, but if I recall correctly, it had to do with me putting the phone in download mode, downloading the original firmware and using ODIN to flash it. Afterward, the "unlocked" padlock symbol disappeared and the phone was able to get the OTA update from AT&T.
I have since moved from an LG G4 to a V20 and that is what I am currently playing with. I also have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (which T-Mobile replaced my G4 with when the touch screen stopped responding). I was quite stoked to find out that there is a way to root it and (seemingly) unlock the bootloader, so I'll be toying with that this weekend to see what I can do. I'd love nothing more than to just wipe that Samsung-ified Android and install a vanilla Android or CM.
Good luck to anyone who is still trying to fix this issue. Again, my apologies. I'll dig through my archives and see if I can piece together what I did to get it going again. I still have the S5 Active. Best phone by far. It's a great backup phone for when the new stuff goes kaput.

I'm a noob and I need help/advice Sm T-330NU

So I've searched the forums for a while now, and being the noob I am, I do not know what i am looking for. I was trying to root my daughters tablets (Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8''). I used the CF auto root. Everything list on his download page matched perfectly with what the tablet said in the about device tab (I'm talking about the model number and all the version number were exact. So i use Odin and everything went perfectly. The tablet went through its steps and Odin said PASS in big green letters. But it got stuck in the screen that says "Samsung". So I let it sit there for a while and finally i held the power button and it rebooted. It booted up fully but it kept popping up that all the apps were stopping. Touchwiz and all the storage "has stopped" along with tons of other apps. So i can't go home to get to the apps. I can go into settings and do stuff, but I cant get anything else to work. Is there anything i can go to get Touchwiz to work so that I can navigate? I can provide more info if anyone is willing to help me. Please this my daughters favorite toy in the world. I'll donate $15 to anyone who can help me get the tablet back functional. Thanks! I am such an idiot. I have no idea what I am doing and no clue why I decided to root her tablet.

*UPDATE*
I was able to do a factory reset and start over. Although still have the custom kernel warning when it reboots. Is there a way to get rid of that? Thanks!
Do not use CF Auto Root for now, use chainfire's latest Systemless Root, in this time of writing, i can't find the link to his latest systemless root zip, flash it using a custom recovery.
About that kernel warning, it means that you modified something OR rather the CF Auto Root you flashed in the kernel, this happens also when you flash a custom firmware. You can't remove it. But beware if this warning comes out whenever you restart or power on the device, you might have triggered the KNOX status to 0x1 and that means your warranty is now borked and sammy can use it whenever you want a repair from them to deny your request.

I'm unable to root my S5 Lolipop 5.1.1. keep getting error msg w/my apps???

Quick, recap, I own a galaxy S5 Lolipop 5.1.1 SM-G900W8 build #LMY47X.G900W8VLU1COI4, previously rooted.
It all begin, when my phone been experiencing some battery draining issue. So I decide to do factory rest. But get this at that time my phone was fully rooted, w/Lolipop 5.1.1...
So I've read all the informations I could get online made sure to unroot the phone ( using CF-Auto Root ktlevl-sm G900W8.), with Odin, and reflash the phone with custom recory (G900W8VLU1COI4.tar.md5 file). I've made sure to get the exact one matching my phone carrier.
And after rooted the phone...All went well...Then 24-48 hours after the **** hit the fan.!!!!
They weere dialogue box keep poping up, from Touchwiz has closed, to Unified Daemond has closed just to name a few...
I decided to factory rest the phone again, reflash and rooted same problem occuring occuring.
So I decide not to root and the issue stop but now I'm unable to fully use my phone because it anin't root so certain function of my phone can't benefit such like using Airplane mode or Mobile data toggle using tasker. When my phone was fully rooted I was able to take full advantage of my Tasker profile. I've google the web and came acrros people who expericing the same issue as I did, but can't find a solution.
If there anyone who had that problem and manage to solve it, kindly share your story and solution with me....
Thank you in advance on getting back to me,

Magisk Error

Hello, this is my first post on here, but I have always been such a big fan of all the work that you guys do. I mean, this is just a phenomenal resource. I have recently rooted my Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950U) through the PartCyborgRom method, and it actually went very well with me. I got into a bit of a problem when my root was easily recognized and I couldn't do things, like get into my Snapchat. I saw everyone ranting and raving about how Magisk had a built in feature to hide the root from apps. I then download the Magisk apk and it prompts me to flash it on my phone. If it meant I could keep my streak going with my girlfriend, I figured "Why the Hell not?" So I try to flash it, and it doesn't work the first time. The second time, it goes right through with no problem. When I got the option to reboot, I took it, and instead of getting a new bootloader, I am prompted with the message from Samsung that says "Security Error: This phone has been flashed with unauthorized software & is locked. Call your mobile operator for additional support. Please note that repair/return for this issue may have additional cost." Now I'm left with what appears to be some soft bricked phone. I have tried flashing the stock firmware, even on Comsy, but all to no avail. I am just trying to figure out how to get this phone back in operation, since I am in the military and it is paramount that I am able to communicate with my Marines again.

Okay, so here is the update: I went to the Sprint store, and they can't do ****. I went to every resource I could find, and they all give me the same advice. Get Samsung to fix it. I really don't want to concede defeat though, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
By the sounds of it it is a soft brick been in a simular situation have you tried putting it into download mode and reflashed the first ever firmware that came with it

I did. I'm not sure what they did, but I took it to Cell Phone Repair (so if they mess it up further, they pay for it), and they fixed it. They put it on T-Mobile's network though, and so I am dealing with that now.
