I agree I'm using holo launcher plus & its by far the best
make sure you also get holo notifier so it shows how many unread txts emails or missed calls you have but only works with plus version
you can also get holo locker for a jelly bean style key lock
Holo Launcher + modded famework-res. apk and SystemUI.apk (Root needed for editing those .apk) just like mine

[Q] Sorting the app drawer

Dear all,
How can I sort the apps in App drawer? I searched the forums for the ones related to Jelly bean, found this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1881712 , but Nexus 4 has a different UI than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1; on the top right in app drawer I see the app store icon. The user manual provided by LG is also of not much help. I hope I don't need a specific launcher to do just this. I have used Sony Xperia series before and it gives several sorting option of apps in app drawer, specially: "sorting by recently installed" is a very useful one. I hope I could do the same here.
Best regards.

You have to use a third party launcher for this feature. Stock android launcher is pretty basic.
You can probably even grab the stock Samsung Launcher or stock Sony launcher pretty easy. All OEM's do is remove the android launcher and replace it with their own anyways.

I downloaded the apk which installed the new google search and a launcher. It was a different site but the post just prior to yours may work. Not sure however. Once I had the launcher (Google Now Launcher), I had the active listening (Ok Google). Do a search for "GNL or Google Now Launcher"

I can't believe it....provided the link in post #15. Guess I need to edit it to make it clearer, LOL
I noticed a faster battery drain since last updates (Google apps). Installed Snapdragon Battery Guru and can confirm, that it does very good job. Also there's another app from Snapdragon called Glance. Its kinda info/lock screen, and provide a lot of info(battery, signal, notification etc).
When I try to install the apk on my moto g and click on accept, it automaticly says the update has not been installed.
Any idea how to fix this?
Ty

okay google with nova??

Has anyone managed to get okay google working with nova launcher?
What do you mean? If you're asking about the search bar on the home screen and saying "okay Google" then probably not. That's only on the Google Experience launcher. Unless maybe there is an always listening widget avaliable. Nova launcher does not have this built in.

So, just to be clear. You're asking if someone has modded the Nova launcher apk and built in the always listening Google search toolbar?
Here is a thread about that here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2523251
Here is another interesting page and some good links about this subject -
http://android.stackexchange.com/qu...launcher-that-supports-google-now-integration
Anyway, hope that helps. I didn't realize that it was that integrated. Looks like it would be more likely that Google would enable gestures and all the Nova stuff before they would free up the Google experience stuff.

[APP] Prism Assistant

Over the time of using HTC devices. I came to realize I used Blinkfeed for more of a news app than a Homescreen. Needless to say, finding ways of launching Blinkfeed along side another launcher can be tedious or "Rooty" routes. I found several different ways of launching or creating a shortcut for Blinkfeed in many different fassions. From using Nova launcher gesture actions to exposed module SenseToolbox. Im not a fan of rooting my new high class smartphone so i developed an easier method. This application was first designed for the HTCM7, than updated for the M8 and now revamped for the HTC10.
Prism Assistant is an intelligent shortcut to Blinkfeed or Sense Home. It has a combination of shortcuts allowed to the user for whatever they find easier to view their Blinkfeed to their advantage. Now, Sense Home needs to be installed on your device first for this application to work correctly. If your using a aosp or Cyanogenmod based custom rom, the unofficial port of Blinkfeed will work just as good. Prism Assistant will detect if Sense Home is or not installed and take action to help you.
PA allows the following for HTC10 devices
-Blinkfeed launcher shortcut
-Notification Listener shortcut
-Replace Google On Tap with Blinkfeed
You can grab Prism Assistant on Google Play here for a small fee https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.NxIndustries.Flip
Or
Free load and grab the apk here and wanna give it a test run first https://www.dropbox.com/s/u4qp6d746i9efii/PA-20.0-release.apk?dl=0
^i will update the dropbox version soon for anyone who doesn't have Google play or XDA Labs
Any comments, suggestions, and feedback welcomed.
Custom rom developers are welcomed to PM me for instructions of how to add Home Assist action provider shortcut to Sense Home if they would like the tweak baked in. Giving credit is the only requirement.

One more screenshot...
Bump.
I will be looking into making Prism Assistant a more diverse app soon by giving users a choice to choose what application to set the Home Assistant activity to so its useful to users who also use Blinkfeed.
Have had this app since it 1st came out, Flip, Flick, then Prism Assistant... great work as always

Prism Assistant has recieved one of its final end of life updates this weekend also making the app free to all and ads will appear in the toolbar (very easy to evade) and a minimal material design. Links have been updated and some quirks patched.
Another update will be pushed soon for final patches.
Thankyou for using prism Assistant
