Dear All,
I have been facing an issue of slow gprs on my Samsung Galaxy S3 SHV-E210K due to edge network and HSDPA network not being shown while gprs is connected(instead, G and 3G are shown). The internet speed has dropped to as low as 1/6 of the original (which I get on my Nokia C5 phone).
I have a strong feeling that if I convert this korean version of Galaxy S3, I will be able to solve the problem. Please help me converting it completely to international version like Galaxy S3 I9305 because the configuration is exactly the same.
I dont know how to root, how to install custom rom, where can they be found. But a step by step guide will surely help me a great deal. I have heard that this is the best site for all the android forums. Please post the complete solution as soon as possible.
First read the rules on posting, questions go in the q&a section -report your own post and ask a moderator to move it.
What you are asking is not possible, if you want the i9300 then buy one.
To learn how to configure your E210K properly then use the search facility, read and learn.

So i am a proud owner of a galaxy tab, and i dont see too much movement on our forum and since i know galaxy s is almost identical, i was wondering if i can use kernels/mods/apps for galaxy s to my tab.
I want to actively get involved in this proccess of beind a dev, but i was always too lazy to get it started.
Any help would be appreciated.
Dear all,
As you may know, there is no section in the XDA community board dedicated to the SGH-I757M model. This phone is NOT the same as the Galaxy S2 I19100, and newbies may damage their phone by installing a ROM, kernel..etc that was not designed to run for their phone. Other Galaxy S2 users may also harm their phone by thinking because the SGH-I757M stuff is posted in their forum, they have the green light to proceed.
Another version of the galaxy s2, the AT & T skyrocket have been able to have their own forum.
I understand that the SGH-I757M fanbase isn't as large as many other phone models, but we have active dev and testers willing to give their support. Bell has sold thousands of these models, and it is continuously being featured in their website. I believe we would have even more supporters if people knew where to locate us. As of now, the only way to view things for the SGH-I757M model is using the search function.
I think the moderator wants to know if its worth opening a forum for a phone that is not widely use.
Tell them what you think, show you support by signing the petition (you may also add other reason(s) for support in the comment)

Note: I chose not to include a poll because it can be vague, whereas a petition is more explicit and accurate.
I signed it! need more supporters for this phone.
hello, i am novice android developer.
first, sorry to my English is poor..
I make call recorder with Galaxy S2 and S4 now. so i used Voice_downlink.
But it is not working.
I found that. but i can't find solution.
I find downlink is sometimes sealed by manufacturer because of hardware chipset.
if seal is true, i want to unseal by editing kernel source or S2 or etc...
my S2 is rooted.
please give me solution who knows. I'll very thanks to you and pleased.
Thanks to read my thread!
I've seen a couple other threads, but I don't think any of them really definitively answered the question...will the ROMs from this thread (Galaxy Note 3) work with the T-Mobile version of the phone (T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3)?
The threads seem to have different ROMs, but they all list "HLTE," which is the name for my phone...even though it's T-Mobile. Thanks in advance for the replies!
Hello,
My title is a bit misleading since I have already successfully had phone calls on a G900T on the Free network. However, it's very unreliable and most of the times my calls don't go through: I just get a hangup after 1 minute, and didn't even get a dialtone.
Is there anything I can do to make it better? I'm not on stock ROM anymore but on crDroid 4.6.1 (latest version available in the "Unified Development" section). I have enabled all bandwidths in the settings ("Preferred network type" is LTE/DSCDMA/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA). I have this for baseband: G900TUVU1GQC2) and kernel is Linux 3.4.113-lineageos-g0ed263d.
Thanks for any help/info!

This is a tough question since the device is, in general, compatible with the French Network Provider but, it looks like the device is lacking on a very small band of frequencies for the Free Network.
Though it's always "encouraged" for the use of the SM-G900F (International Variant) since it has a much broader frequency range across the board.
I did locate the following link that reflects the same/similar question as yours. It may be a few years old but, the information, in general, should still be relevant today.

This is the best I can help you with but, I do hope that it is helpful and maybe someone here can provide you with something a bit more helpful.
You can always try to obtain some member guidance within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device and variants.

UNLESS asked to do so, PLEASE don't PM me regarding support. Sent using The ClaRetoX Forum App on my Commodore VIC-20.
Thanks for your answer Ibuprophen, I'll look into the links you gave and hope to find more info from there!
Cheers!
