SolvedI tried to flash a KitKat ROM over Jellybean on my Nexus 10, and now I'm in a recovery bootloop. I can't get many of the toolkits to recover and I believe that USB debugging is NOT enabled. Is there a way to remotely enable it from my PC?

I have a G1 and recently it started rebooting. I can not get in to the recovery image I can how get to the HBOOT screen. I am trying to flash an recovery.img using adb but I can not enable USB debugging. Is there anyway to do this with out having USB debugging enabled?
To ans directly to your post question, No. You can't use ADB without Debugging.
Hi Folks:
i have read many threads on this problem and how to resolve it but bear with me as I am a newbie.
I have a nexus 4 with bootloader unlocked and USB Debugging disabled. I am looking for some step by step advice on how I would be able to enable usb debugging so that i could access my phone remotely to reset the lock pattern and backup my information. I have adb running on a windows PC and I know how to access stock recovery mode. I have only been able to connect to my device via adb when accessing the ADB sideload function in the recovery console. I have seen that you can sideload a kernel with usb debugging enabled but I have no clue on how to achieve this. i also need to make sure that whatever I do the data will not be affected. Any assistance would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this would work but you could boot into download mode, flash a custom recovery, boot into custom recovery, and mount the partitions to copy the data to your computer.
Edit: if the digitizer failed, I don't think my method will work unless it is just in the ROM that the digitizer doesn't work.
My Nexus 6p will not load so I can enable usb debugging again. It is hanging at boot animation. I have access to recovery. Is there a way to enable debugging in TWRP? Please help. Thanks.
You should add how you solved it. Noobies may like the info
i decided to flash stock nougat from stock oreo (currently usb debugging is on). While flashing nougat in fastboot my phone showed erase screen and rebooted back to stock 8.1(this happens after may update when the bootloader is unlocked and this time i'm sure that usb debugging option has been reseted and turned off by itself because of boot loader unlock). And then i forgot to turn usb debugging on and booted into fastboot mode and flashed stock nougat and bricked my phone. Please help, is there anyway to turn usb debugging on a bricked device?
Edit: i can access fastboot mode and bootloader is unlocked.
Thank You

Put your phone in fastboot mode (power and vol-) and flash stock Rom with Miflash (clean all).

Change USB port, change cable or try in another PC.
I have a Mi 9T Global 6/128GB running stock MIUI 12.0.7 Global with bootloader already unlocked. However the USB port has gone bad and only works for charging.
Is there a way for me to install TWRP without a USB connection?
Everything I've done and observed:
USB debugging enabled
USB tethering option greyed out - no USB connection detected
Default USB action set to MTP does not help
It charges but no prompt for USB mode when connected
Phone does not show up on PC
No new device detected in device manager
No problematic device detected in device manager in any mode
No device detected through ADB in any mode
No device detected through fastboot in fastboot mode
No device detected in miflash tool regardles of phone in system or fastboot
No device detected in miunlock tool regardless of phone in system or fastboot
No detected USB device on which I can attempt a driver update
USB drivers verified updated
Tried on my desktop and laptop, with multiple cables and ports
OTG with another Android device does not work
I was using RR Android Q when I realized this issue. At that time I was using TWRP and even in recovery with everything mounted and MTP enabled, the phone was still not detected on PC. I flashed the latest stable MIUI zip hoping it would be fixed bit no bueno.
I want to get TWRP back to install a custom rom because I refuse to use MIUI.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
