As you can see the Icons are a nice size but the fonts look too big for the icons and over lap and make the appdrawer look messy, i've got my font size set to Tiny but the font on the touchwiz drawer is still ALOT bigger than the font on my settings...
Is there a way i can make my app drawer fonts smaller, maybe by modifying touchwiz? If so how would i go about doing that? This is the only problem i have with touchwiz and don't want to use Apex or any other launcher as i love the default touchwiz widgets.
I see someone managed to edit Touchwiz for the galaxy S4 which included decreasing the font sizes here;

Thanks
If you are rooted you can change the DPI, 420ish or so should suit nicely for TW
I changed the DPI via build prop editor with rom tool box and it just shrunk the sides into the middle of the screen, i'd like them to be stretched so it seems 420DPI isn't gonna do it for me.
You can go as low as 320 on the Note iirc before you run into issues, try a different one. Or install iFont and change the fonts?

is there a way to make today icons smaller?
Use TrueVGA?
samsung i750 and treos kinda have smaller line heights
i think its related to icon sizes, i am just wondering if there is a way to make icons just a little bit smaller in today screen

You can use Start>setting>system>screen, then go to text size tab, and choose the smallest text size there. I think if you slide it to the smallest, that's as small as it can get without directly changing the registry.
However, if you really want to use registry editor, try entering 600 into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Stylus\192DPI CurFont (dword). You can get even smaller font by using smaller value like 400.
Not sure about the icon though. I guess we need to create the icon with right size in the resource files?
Found this in the Android Themes > Post your Home Screen section

Decided to try something different with my screen and use BattStatt/Tajm widgets, however, mine ends up looking like so
Either I'm not setting something correctly or this doesn't display well on our Vibrants using custom fonts. I'm using Helvetica Neue. It works with the default DroidSans font but that defeats the purpose.
Please help! ><
You can't expect widget makers to plan for every font available. They test with default fonts only, I'm sure. Contact the devs maybe?
How did you get the text icons for the launcher bar? I like them a lot
Tried the Helvetica Neue that comes with osx and is a bit better i think

I got the icons here: The Kobhens Iconset. It comes with some premade icons.
I used the .psd to create my own. Modified the text in photoshop and exported as .png.
I'm using LauncherPro btw. Not sure how to do it in ADW.
Is it possible to decrease the font size in the favourite contacts section? It's way too big when compared to the contacts app.

I suppose you can. Decompile the apk. Go to res/layout. One of the XML files will represent the favourites screen. Open it and you'll see some tags like this <TextView....>. There must be a code inside those tags to decrease the size or increase it.
if the rom supports quickpanel,
then it has the option to minimize font size,
however it resets in every reboot,
so you need to manually set it again every startup
If I use the smallest size in Lidroid Parts, the font size in Favourite Contacts is like the usual normal font size in the other apps. But outside that, it's a different story. The font in the Music Player for instance, is really very small. Take a look. View attachment 1347055

If changing density from 640 to 540 I have issues with ui.

You can't, until someone makes a multi DPI touchwiz. You either have to use a third party launcher or use xposed App Settings to change the ui back to 640. You will also need to change camera, contacts, in call ui, calculator etc too

Ok. Thank you.
I've asked this question before but I'm looking for a Launcher alternative. Back in 1995 there was a PC operating system competing with Windows. I think it was called Xerox Tabs, but I cannot confirm that.
The home screen looked like a Franklin Daily Planner with Tabs on the side.
I'd like an Android launcher like that. I'd like to be able to customize the tabs, what opens each time you click the tab, and the over all appearance of the launcher.
I've seen something similar called Opus Dimini in iPad, but it's not a launcher. I've also used this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But it's not exactly what I'm looking for. I think we would need more than just a theme, but really a launcher with pages that flip, and you can display anything from widgets to icons and folders.
Is anyone up to this? Or know of something that would work?
Thanks in advance.

I think that Total Launcher can do what you want. I've made and use a similar theme with tabs:

Total launcher is the only launcher which let you completely change the look and functionality of home screen.
