I currently have TWRP v2.0.0 and after flashing TWRP 2.6.3.0 W/ SELINUX .ZIP, after rebooting to recovery, the version number remains at v2.0.0. Anyone have any problems flashing this zip or have a solution?
Nvm got it. Had to do steps not listed anywhere on the interwebz. Mods, you can delete this whole thread.

Hi all,
Could not find anything related to this so will just ask.
I am currently on CarbonROM and have TWRP as my recovery. I have read that with Android 4.4, you will less problems flashing it over 4.3 if you are on CWM rather than TWRP.
So can I just flash the latest CWM over my current TWRP using the following command: fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.3-mako.img ?
Thank you in advance.
yes, you can just flash right over. or.. you can use the modified multirom version of twrp if you want to keep using twrp, kitkat flashes fine with it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2508840
I have TWRP installed and CWM as well but I can only reboot in TWRP even if I flash CWM it will still reboot in TWRP
I tried rebooting in recovery by the volume up+power key but the LG logo just flashes really quick then it reboots normal.
When I try to flash the CWM image using Flashify, it just goes to the black screen and says "fastboot mode started" then I just end up rebooting.
I want to use CWM so I can install Cynogenmod 11 because it doesn't seem to work on TWRP. When I try to install the zip it just says "Error executing binary zip..."
Here's some info about my phone just in case it helps
Android 4.2.2
Kernel: 3.4.0
Build: JDQ39B
Software: LG D80110G

If you just want to install CM 11, you can do that with the latest version of TWRP (2.6.3.5), which can be found in the CMB Rom thread for T-Mobile Development: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2568732 . You should be able to flash that by putting the zip onto your phone and installing it with your current TWRP.

I can't flash it. It goes into CWM recovery mode and says that fastboot mode started still
Erm so now you have cwm!?
Your better off with the latest twrp anyway. Just fine the latest version for your phone. 2.6.3.2 is no good.
You can have only 1 recovery at a time.

Solved!
I figured it out! I was flashing the zip file of the 2.6.3.2 and that's why it didn't work. I flashed the open recovery image file instead using flashify and I was able to get into TWRP recovery mode from there I installed the latest version of TWRP. At first it failed but that was because I had checked the zip verification box and "use rt formatting" or whatever in the advanced settings. Unchecked them and installed successfully :victory: finally I installed CM 11 and it's great
Thanks for the help flutterguy317!
Welp...I was on the KVT49L CM Edition ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2763102) and I was running OUDHS CWM recovery 1.0.3.4. Decided to try to get F2FS running, so I downloaded the custom TWRP that ktoonsez had made to enable F2FS and zip flashed from inside OUDHS 1.0.3.4, and then when I tried to install KVT49L, it gives me status 7. So, I decided to roll back and re-flash the OUDHS 1.0.3.4 .zip, which worked; but it now also now gives me Status 7, even for CM11. The only rom I can successfully install is http://www.slimroms.net/index.php/d.../10761-slim-jflte-4-4-2-build-5-official-4050
Any help would be appreciated as I am in the dark.
Status 7 basically means that cwm thinks you are flashing something not meant for your device. Try flashing after deleting the assert scripts in the Rom zip

Hi All,
So I have CM11 installed on my Note 3 with CWM 6.0.4.6 as my recovery. I want to now flash the TWRP recovery and replace CWM.
1) I download the official hlte twrp zip from twrp website
2) Go into cwm recovery and flash the twrp zip
3) But when I reboot, I see that I am still stuck with CWM and the TWRP recovery hasn't been installed
Can someone tell me if there is any step I am missing or what am I doing wrong? I just can't seem to get rid of CWM.
Is it because of CM11? I don't think so honestly (but I maybe wrong).
Thanks for any help that you can give

Please help
I flashed twrp 2.8.3 last time but when reboot recovery i'm still at 2.8.2. Then flashed latest 2.8.4 it's updated as it should be. Maybe corrupted zip unless you downloaded a few times then i'm not sure.
I tried flashing Alucard's Lollipop with an older CWM and while it did show he animated CM logo, it never made it to the actual welcome screen. Not sure if others have had that problem but I would like to update to a newer recovery. Can anyone provide me with a link to a better one?
Also, I did try using Odin to flash TWRP but it said PIT error. Not sure if this is related or not.
Try flashing TWRP using Nandroid manager app from the google play store. That's how I did it. Download an TWRP img and flash it with that app.
I use TWRP 2.8.3.0 and flashed CM12 a few times. Even CM12.1.
I suggest you use TWRP recovery personally I'm more into CWM but for this one TWRP.
