Is anyone else having this issue? Where if you miss a call, instead of going back to the lock screen it unlocks to you home screen? I used to have this same issue on my nexus 4 with the 4.4 update but it was fixed in 4.4.1. This only happens in the normal slide lock

Also, here's an app that at least quick-fixes the problem until Moto does

Is there any way to delay my pattern from showing up as soon as my phone locks? I thought this was built in to android but not this rom? And app or mod would be great
On ssx2.2 btw, thanks in advance

Is it just me? Or is anyone else having problems with music controls on the new lock screen in 4.2. when I resume a song from play music in the lock screen the the camera gets mixed in with the lock screen and the volume goes to maximum for a second then returns to normal. Its done it a few times now.

Mine just covers the unlock button sometimes, just a new software thing, it will be fixed

I had this happen just a little bit ago at the gym. It almost seemed like it locked up. I was able to launch Google now and get to the main screen though. Hopefully they add an on/off button for the lock screen widgets, I won't ever use them so it would be nice to disable them.

Disable Lock Screen Camera and Widgets
Found an article by Droid Life about Lockscreen Policy, an app created by Chislon Chow.
Been using it for a couple days. It is free and seems to work perfectly fine. Did not even need root privilege. The effect is not "permanent" in that if you disable/freeze or uninstall it, the widgets come right back, and you'll have to reboot before they can be removed again.
I have an LG Nexus 4 running Android 4.2.1 and have a strange problem. When I got an incoming phone call the keyboard is displayed and won't go away. This is a rather big problem since it obscures the area which allows me to accept the phone call.
Is there anyway in which I can stop this happening? This is my first Android device so I am still pretty new to it.
Have you tried factory reset

I have exactly this problem on my rogers 1337m running jamal's 4.2.2 rom. I thought it was just a faulty proximity sensor.
Sometimes it happens to me because my hand goes over the sensor lol. Just watch where your hand is at and you'll be fine.

I have the Verizon variant on stock the screen will randomly shutoff sometimes they say if you put your hand over the sensor it will do that but it does it even when I'm not touching the phone on cm11 Roms its the opposite i will turn screen on and when I set it down on the table it will turn back on I am so fed up with it doing and if it keeps doing this I will buy a nexus 5 or maybe the new oppo when it comes out

If it's a hardware problem I guess I will have to flash it back don't wanna have to do that it seems to slightly improve when I flash furnace kernel

Do you use a screen protector?
No screen protector it seems to do it sometimes but when it does do it it is very bad and almost impossible to use

I'm on the VZW variant too and don't have that issue. So I'm almost thinking its hardware. Probably the proximity sensor is messed up. I do think I remember some developer having that same problem and it was a hardware issue. Are you running a custom ROM too?

Try entering the service menu and testing the proximity sensor.
I believe it might be a hardware problem.
I did that it helps it doesn't do it as much but still does occasionally hate to get a new one that I can't root or install custom recovery

I would hate for it to not have custom recovery do you know if shellnutt figured out what was going on with freegee it only does it sometimes I don't have much options for a new phone
Samsung yuck maybe an oppo they seem nice if it keeps doing this I have a friend that would love this phone hopefully it will stop it has only done it once today
