Lyrics don't just magically attach themselves to songs/files. If you don't know then you never embedded lyrics yourself. So most likely they don't contain lyrics on their own.
If you rip your own music to files then you'll look into adding lyrics using a program. If you buy your songs from a legit source like iTunes, they contain lyrics.

What is this "Jumper Test" that installs with it?
Should this work with the Nexus S on 2.3.1?
EDIT: Works fine so far on Nexus S CM7. Thanks.
This is what the music app should have been in 2.1, comparable to the gallery. Nice work here google, this looks great.
Decent looking. Probably in the wrong forum though...

Is this a newer version of the previous music.apk leak?
Good but a bit laggy in scrolling compared to other google apps....
Works also fine on MicroMod v.20.

They do not have the be anywhere specific. Android automatically finds any media files as long as there is not a ".nomedia" file in a folder where media is stored.
Also, this is old news and is in the wrong section.

It means what is says. Either its intentional or there will be a fix shortly.
I received Google's response. Basically, they said it was a copyright safeguard issue. I understand that this was intentional, I OP was in the context of the implications, especially in light of Google's response.
If that is Google's position, is it possible that they could extend this to any of their apps that involve protected content such a Books and Music? The whole "rooted" issue is a Red Herring anyway, because technically, our desktops and laptops are "rooted. "
Is Google starting to get pressure from the OEMs?

Try an app named 'on the air root keeper' from market it temporary unroots the device so that you can use any app

There are several ways around this. the easiest is simply to rename the su binary to something like mu. Play your video - then rename it back.

i started having the issue with my v10 a couple months back, it would work at first but would stop after a while. when i got my v20 last week, ive been noticing it having the same issue. not sure if spotify issue or lg issue..
I'm having the same issue. I have Pandora, Amazon, and N7 Player installed but they don't show up as options.
Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk
I can only get the LG music player to show controls
Google play music and Pandora both work. Make sure you enable music controls in the second screen settings. This is likely why you folks are having issues.

I'm having the same issue. The music player will work for Podcast Addict, but not for Music Player Plus. It is therefore not a toggle issue. When I have music playing in Music Player Plus it shows "Play media to control".
I'm having the same issue with Pandora! I have it activated for the second screen, and I can swipe over to see it, but it won't control Pandora.
