In twrp tried to mount storage also tried to adb sideload a rom but my computer cant find drivers only when it's in recovery. when its in a bootloop the device is found. tried to download all kinds of drivers still no go.

I really enjoying experimenting with rooting my phone and flashing custom rom's.
Unfortunately my phone is in a boot loop now.
First I installed the OMNI rom, worked fine for a couple of days. Then I installed TWRP recovery what overwrote CWM Recovery what was on my phone before.
I wanted to flash PAC rom, I downloaded the rom and GAPP, booted in recovery mode. But when I tried to factory whipe my phone, it took a very long time and my battery went empty so it stopped wipping.
Now when I tried to boot it up it didn't go further then the LG logo. So I booted in recovery again and just installed the PAC Rom without the factory wipe. It was formatting like 10 minutes, after that the flashing continued and installed the ROM.
The Flashing:
######################
Formatting system
Extracting System files ...
Making Sym Links
Thanks for choosing PAC-MAN ROMS
Enjoying PAC-MAN now
Checking if loki-fying is needed
Updating partition details.....
E:unable to mount /cache
It look alright, so rebooted but didn't came further than the PAC-MAN Booting animation.
In the Mount section of TWRP only system and data are mounted. Cache and USB OTG are unchecked.
It says E: Unable to mount /cache
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 This looks really helpfull. So i tried it but couldn't get in download mode first.
When I tried to start the upgrade the following happens:
Strat fn_startupgrade
Extract kdz file
kdz decrypt success
Extract file error
Then the program stopped working.
For me a bricked phone is a huge problem. I hope that you guys can help me to fix my phone.
I'm willing to give some money for the time and as a 'thank you' for helping me out.
PM me if it's needed for faster helping. After I will post the full solution here.
Thanks in advance!
Now that the cache is able to mount because I formatteded it with the make_ext4fs function.
Now I have to flash a rom through sideload because it freezes at the LG Logo.
The problem here is that my device doesn't show up in the command prompt because the drivers aren't working (The drivers I installed from the LG website)
I had the same issues with the drivers and sideloading. I just downloaded the android sdk then then went into the properties of the phone in "devices and printers" and had it search the the driver dir in the android sdk. Just choose the android adb bridge and it should be fine.
Did you fix the issue?
I've been using the built-in CM updater almost daily for weeks now with no issues. Today, I noticed the CM11 nightlies were out. I excitedly downloaded it and installed it. It rebooted into ClockworkMod Recovery (which I don't recall it ever doing with CM10 nightlies) and gave a "set_metadata_recursive some changes failed . . . (Status 7)" error.
After doing some research, I think the issue may be that I'm still using an outdated CMR v6.0.1.9.
Should I have USB access when in CMR? When I plug the cable in, Windows says the device has malfunctioned
Assuming CMR is my issue, how can I update it without USB access?
I tried a factory reset, but it's still stuck in a boot loop.
I don't recall if USB access to the internal storage card is enabled while in CWM recovery or not, but for sure you can adb sideload any zip if you have adb setup on your PC. I suggest you to update your recovery then manually flash latest cm11. Then you'll use again the built-in updater for upcoming nightlies

Sideloading is new to me. I'll give it a shot this afternoon and post back. Thanks!
It is your outdated CWM recovery. Get the latest cwm recovery and it will all be fine
Had the same issue with Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Galaxy S3
Was always caused by older version of cwm
You don't have usb access? Just restore a backup then
If you fastboot flash the new cwm recovery and ROM, wipe cache you will be golden. Without loss of data

If you have ADB access, you are in a good spot.
You'll have to ADB sidelaod a ROM, and flash it. shouldn't be hard to find info on.
Good luck.
congratulations for not saying your bricked.
you probably get an error when flashing right ?!
you need a newer version of twrp... get a flashable zip and update itself in twrp. then you will be able to flash roms.
Yep. darkobas is correct.
I missed your TWRP version. find 2.6.3.3 push it (I mistakenly said sideload above) and a ROM to your 'SDcard', then flash TWRP, restart to recovery, and flash ROM (and any other required packages (Gapps, system patch, etc).
adb push path/filename /sdcard/filename

So, yesterday I flashed stock 4.2.2 via LG Flash Tool 1.6 and everything went nice. After that I put SlimKat on SDCard i flashed it in CWM recovery. After flashing SlimKat I wanted to install StockMod so I put it on SDCard and try to flash it in CWM.
After flashing StockMod G2 automatically booted into CWM and when I wanted to flash back to SlimKat it said: "Unable to mount /SDCard!"
I tried to install TWRP recovery and tried to fix it trough the recovery, but it always said unable to mount sdcard. Finaly I got rid of that error by formatting all the partitions. After that I installed several via ADB Sideload, but every ROM "installs" and when I want to boot it goes into recovery again. So, I noticed that my /system partition is never mounted and I can't mount it.
Any help?
I installed the twrp 3.0.2.2 and after installed a kernel which made the phone stuck on zte logo.
I tried to flash to the stock files using this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/a2017g-nougat-b08-twrp-bootstack-t3696479v
but when i try to install the superSu the twrp stuck after extracing files, then the phone just shuts down.

Update your twrp, there's no need to use that old version... my phone reboots when it wants when it has opd twrp versions
Download twrp 3.1.1-0
Put it on your phone, maybe via adb or through mtp if you have it
Go to Install -> hit the button on the right that says 'Install image'
Find the TWRP.img and install it, it will prompt you where to install it, put 'recovery'
Followed you instructions, but now i cant get into TWRP or the OS ):
Tried to flash it with axon7tool on pc, but got the same result, but when I tried to flash the 3.0.2. again, it worked.

Don't use axon7tool for this... you already have TWRP, the only thing you have to use axon7tool for is to install twrp when you have the stock recovery. after you have twrp on the phone just try not to use the PC except for maybe miflash
I tried both of this options.
Flashing new version of twrp through the old twrp resulted in black screen when i try to get to recovery.
So I flashed the old twrp from the pc, tried to flash the new one using the same method but it the same as i flashed it through the old twrp. (which mean that when i get to the recovery i get black screen)
ATM the situation is the same, system wont boot stuck on zte logo, twrp is 3.0.2.2 (there is another method to flash newer twrp?)
There is another option?
After wiping system in twrp i was able to install supersu, which means i completed this guide
https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/a2017g-nougat-b08-twrp-bootstack-t3696479v
but still stuck on zte logo after i reboot , any help?

Ya, afte i wiped the system it allowed me to install the supersu without interrupts, but it did not helped.
Anyway i manged to install purefusion os, system booted up, after that the new twrp updated successfully.

You installed SuperSU without a system, and the phone did not boot up? Amirite?
what i did was wipe system dalvik cache, cache, after that install bootstack and the system files, and after that the supersu.
before i wiped the system, when i tried to install the supersu the twrp collapsed, after that it installed it but did not helped to make the system boot.
