Hi everyone,
I have set my phone to 320 DPI, only problem apps are SecContact with its dialer pad and the gallery not showing correctly.
I have followed Bala_gamer with his updates but so far no more updates.
Have been using AppSettings to keep the apps from showing incorrectly but it doesn't look good. This isn't a big deal but if I can I would fix it.
I know how to decompile and recompile, all I need to know is which lines to edit and which XML file so I could do it myself.
Or if the files are available as flashable zip somewhere Id get that instead.
If anyone has some info regarding this id appreciate it very much.
Thank you

Just wanted to give back to the community and went ahead and pulled the new ASUS Day Scene Apk from the new update for the Prime to are OG Transformer. All you have to do is use rootexplorer or adb and push to system/app and set permissions like the original one and make sure to remove the odex file from the original day scene and reboot thats it. Here is the link just post a comment and let me know how it went.

Thanks. So it adds 2d effects on top of asus wallpapers. Pretty nice.
Anyone have any idea how to make it work on non ASUS roms?
Could you by chance add the necessary ASUS libs. I can't get it to launch on Code Name Android v.1.5.5 due to the missing libs. Thanks
only stock ROM's for now.

Right now it will only work if your using stock or a ROM made from the stock ROM as it has the libs your talking about. I got the apk from the virtuous prime rom so I would start there by downloading it and looking inside the zip for anything that will help you with installing it on a ASOP ROM, good luck and let me know how it works.
Do you have to be rooted?
yes you must be rooted
Yes you must be rooted.
Anyone have ANY IDEA how to make this work on non Asus roms? On CM9, it just shows a black background with overlay 2d effects because it's unable to get the wallpapers.

I took a look inside it and all it has is the _small wallpapers so i would assume you would need to essencialy use your own tutorial to work the wallpapers into the launcher or sideload the asus launcher2
or you could edit the xml's to change the path to inside the app its self and put everything in there

Yea I've seen that. It just has the small thumbnails. I really wish I knew how to program right now.
I've tried decompiling and recompiling the default launcher of CM9 to add asus wallpapers with their original name and edited array.xml so they all show up correctly in wallpaper picker but the live wallpaper still doesn't see them.

Pretty sure it is looking for them in launcher2 not the default launcher so that may be the issue

How would you go about loading launcher2 into memory or force the ROM to run it?
Simply placing launcher2.apk in system/app didn't work. I tried to run it but it won't.
If anyone has problem decompiling asusdayscene.apk, use the hacked jar posted here http://code.google.com/p/android-ap...Type Status Priority Mi lestone Owner Summary
Is there a way to change to clors on clock/menues with .50?
Just love how it looks but it would have been nice to change colors from time to time.
Couldnt post in the regular page of .50 since I was an new user.
Nexus7 <3 :good:
Why didnt you search the main thread? It is possible but its not a PA specific feature. To change the colors you need to either edit the SystemUI.apk or download and apply a CM10 theme. The latter being the easiest.
Ok, thank you. Gonna check out the Theme. To edit the SystemUI.APK you need a program or is it just color codes with notepad and such like a cfg?
You can find a bunch of cm10 themes on the play store.
Editing .apks IMO is a pain. If you are doing anything more than swapping out .PNG files you will have to decompile, edit, then recompile. If you want to do that just search around and you will find a tutorial.

Hi,
Im running CM11 and i have xposed.
Thus far i cant find an 'easy fix' to remove the dark tint from my lock screen.
1. is there one?
2. if i have to manually modify an xml, which is it and where to find it?
I found one other request of the same nature but it was specific to a HTC handset.
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers.
EDIT; so i found keyguard.xml in framework-res.apk /res/layout.
Pretty sure thats what i need?
Anyway to modify the apk on the fly or do i need to rebuild it then flash again with modified apk?
Really hoping theres an xposed mod ive missed.
=(

Try GravityBox Xposed module, in the lock screen settings I believe you can set the background opacity.

Hey thanks for the reply.
Got GB installed, tried that setting, didnt have any effect.
Pretty sure i need to edit the keyguard.xml in framework-res.apk but im not very practised in modifying APKs.
Any guides or anyone on here with knowledge that could help me figure out how to take emojis from an app and inject them into my current keyboard?
I've downloaded the emoji switcher but that just lets me switch what he has made available.
I'm running cataclysm and want to use the new deadpool movie emojis. The app however renders any text input inoperable lol. So I'm trying to get set up to decompile it pull the pngs and maybe find the current emojis in the framework and recompile it?
Is this the only way? Anyone have an easier way?
Is there a flashable zip that changes emojis out that maybe I could just replace some pngs in?
Thanks guys

I could see all the apk but hoew to proceed to remove all the wallpapers?
You need a root access

@jeoleo7: /system/media/drawable is where the Black Edition wallpapers are located, but the rest of the stock wallpapers are unlikely to be found there. The rest of the wallpapers are embedded in either SystemUI, framework-res.apk, or twframework-res.apk, possibly all three. Those apps would need to be decompiled in order to remove the "offending" wallpapers, then recompiled. If you go that route, I do not recommend deleting the existing wallpapers outright, but replacing them with wallpapers you do like, so long as you resize the replacement wallpapers to the exact dimensions of the existing ones and rename the new wallpapers to use the old names. At the same time, you also need to make a second set in a small size for the wallpaper picker.
Thanks
