FOR THOSE WHO HAVING THIS ISSUE KINDLY CHECK THIS SOLUTION POSTED BY ANTUTU TEAM AND TEL ME IF IT SOLVE UR ISSUE OR NOT SO THAT I CAN REPLY TO THEM THANKS
> i cant test this because i m on 4.3 and i haven't face this issue on any rom , if i overclock my phone then only my antutu crash (weird )
What has the External SD to do with the test of the CPU? This doesn't make sense..
For me turning off Stamina Mode helped
on my XSP it also reboots at the same position but only in CM11. in Stock rom its fine.

Agreed, same here. I'll maybe give it another try in a few months or so. Until then i just don't recommend to use the Cyanogenmod.
It happens with every single FXP out there, same as for 10.1 and 10.2.
They aren't even capable of fixing the torch for the older ones, so this may be a major problem for them and the reason why it's not fixed yet
same as for other things like using the LEDs correctly or integrate some of the functions that a stock rom does have, like the function to use WLAN only if in range, stamina mode and stuff like that. They have other "priorities."
CM based ROM crash... AOSP based like mahdi, vanir dont crash... (vanir gives highest in cpu float) 21600++
first test only cpu
then test Full

Hello Again
My Crash in 21% Antutu Fix in 4.3 Leak by Test All Option except cpu and then test cpu and then Full test
My Score by antutu 4.1.7 in 4.3 leak was 23300
You can also create a logcat when you are one of the users with this problem. If you connect your phone via ADB on your computer, start LOGCAT and Antutu you can collect data about the crash..

My Xperia crashes too on full Antutu tests
Hey,
My phone also crashes on CPU float test at 21% - in full test. No SD card inside - yet. I will try an class 10 64GB to see if it works - hope soon enough.
I disabled Stamina mode and test again except CPU test.
I obtained 18341 without CPU test
At CPU test I have 2975.
Running again Full test - after I have CPU test done separately - again CRUSH !!!
My Sony is Xperia SP C5303 - with LTE support, standard ROM - unlocked - Android 4.1.2, kernel 3.4.0-perf-g1285c6c - 14.08.2013.
On Quadrant I obtained 8094 top score, with AntiVirus app and Battery manager app on. :victory:
Waiting for update to 4.3 or 4.4 - hope soon - to fix this issue on Antutu.
Keep in touch.

what about those who do not have their BL unlock?..
Hi,
I think the problem regards the cpu governor of some firmware's stock kernel, or some device's cpu gets hot faster than other..
Try this:
Install a cpu control app from the store (es. "no-frills cpu control")
open it and change the governor to "interactive"
press apply
do the benchmark again..
OR
Keep the stock governor (ondemand) but set the max freq of the cpu at 1674
apply and try again..
In my case those solutions work both.
Let me know and press thanx if it has been useful
cheers
worked

Sadly not in my phone.. Still crashes with sd card trick..
The only way to finish the test for me is the method above..
Mine crashes too both 4.1.2 and 4.3. Tried it without sdcard as mentioned and it works. Very strange.

After some days of testing the new kernel I decided to share it with everyone,
Now just to make things clear, the disclaimer:
Use it at your own risk, If you are unsure of what you are doing please do not flash this kernel.
As a rule of thumb ALWAYS do a nandroid backup first. I will not be responsible for any damage you may get and
I'm almost sure that flashing this boot image will void your warranty, but if you are reading this forum certainly you already did it.

1Ghz
Multitouch (many thanks to Luke Hutchison for all his work and help) [for now, only with Dolphin Browser]
Works very well with clean ROM 2.000.16, installed with acer tool.
Bootloader info is:
Code:
USB FastBoot: V1.00.03
HW version: v0.4
AMSS version: A1-02.01.03
Build Date: Jan 26 2010, 14:29:43
Instructions:
1. Read the disclaimer.
2. Do a nandroid backup.
3. Download and unpack the zip file.
4. Enter bootloader.
5. Do in console/cmd:
Code:
fastboot -i 0x0502 flash boot <boot image name>
fastboot -i 0x0502 reboot
6. Have fun
I didn't posted the unrooted version because when you flash this kernel you will be voiding your warranty (if you already didn't), so doesn't make sense to keep your phone unrooted, unless you really want it.. If thats the case, contact me..
As you may know, this was build from a kernel source that has some bugs on it, so, you may experience some erros.. Didn't found any, but if you find please report..
Dmesg will output some errors, but for now they are armless..
GREAT WORK!
Havn't tested it out yet, gonna do it after tomorrow since I need my phone at work tomorrow.
Is there a noticeable speed-difference when using the 1ghz-version?

I'm using the 765Mhz version without any problem. Can anyone tell if the 1GHz causes the phone to overheat?

There is no overheat on the phone but didn't gave it intensive use yet..
On benchmarks it has significant improvement, but the phone normally has no lag, so, there is almost nothing to be noted ..

It would be really great if we could have SetCPU working with 1ghz enabled to preserve battery life.
EDIT : I've emailed SETCPU's developer to ask him to set something like he did for the Droid (some kind of autodetection).

It wont overheat the qsd8X50 was meant to run at 1ghz.
i'm running it at 1ghz no overheating problems at all for now neighter does the battery run out of juice faster, incredibly the opposite is the case it seems to last a bit longer, maybe cause of the optimized kernel

Don't worry! You are not alone
I got minicm and i tried both manual and automatic(.zip) instalation of overclocking module, and when my phone gets near 710Mhz(the...stable clock) it will reboot i'm now using Stock Clock 600Mhz(with module OC uninstaled)
OS USED: MiniCm RC1
you should try the manual instruction n edit the hw_config.sh+ add the parameters on it(to set it on boot)...the update.zip just adding the x8oc.ko only

Yayz, I'm not alone) so, guys, any suggestions for us to get Overclock working?
+1
I Tried the "X8 Nexus Rom" wich is a MiniCM with OC preloaded.
With this ROM, the phone reboots 1minute after being started
I think it's due to OC but I don't know how to disable it in this ROM.
i'v done this with manual edit on floyo, hackdroid rc4, minicm, and stock rom,
always work.
i don't know why u can't, its not a rom problem.
if u do it right n still don't work,
maybe its on processor.. (somebody said that here, every proc has it own potential)
There is no way to automatic-install the OC feature, even the developer itself said that it's the matter of time to release .zip files to auto-install.
My answer is: manual install - 100% of satisfaction

You need to remember, that your CPUs are in fact a part of a huge silicon wafel, and that there are differences among them. Your CPUs apparently have been cut out from the part of that wafel that doesn't like overclocking and you can do nothing about it. Also, there are some FSB gaps, so if 710 MHz causes reboot or hands the device, try some higher freqs, they might actually work

I think is safe (for me), had been using it since V003 until now, using 768mhz almost 1 week, no reboot at the moment.
All latest ROMs for X8 come with OC preloaded
(nexus v1, nexus v2, minicm rc2)
And they all make my f.....ing phone reboot every minute !! Even after full wipe.
Please developpers !! Stop include overclock in all your roms !!!
Returns to 600mhz
I can not use the overclock because when I reboot the phone it is on 691Mhz soon after he returns to 600mhz. I know that the CPU clock is dynamic, but he never returns to 691mhz. What did I do wrong? I used the XDA tutorial for overclocking. I'm using Floyo v0.25

Thanks to this post my phones battery is going to last a lot longer May i ask, how do you take a screenshot on your phone?
I use G3Mod Ultimate 1.3.4 200-1200 Mhz and I keep it simple
I have just one option enabled in profile, which is if temp > 40 clock 200-400 conservative
Rest I have kept it at 200-800 Mhz On Demand at all times.
When I play Games I set it to 600-1200 On Demand.
I have been using it since 1.3.4 G3Mod Ultimate was released, and have not faced any Overheating, Lags, freezes what so ever. It does last around 1.5 to 2 days.
My quadrant score (ofcourse other tweaks as mentioned in my signature also applies)
at 600-800 on demand is around 590
at 600-1200 on demand is around 710

This test was done using Antutu Benchmark.
I did 3 tests using the Chainfire driver, but using a OC Kernel, the diference is pratically null. In pratice, using Chainfire driver the results is worse, in all kernels tested.
The firts test i use MIRACLE ROM V3 and after using CM7.2 cooper signed, but the results don't was expressive differents. This results are the mean of 3 test each kernel.
All the tests was done using the same device and the same sd card installing only new kernel code. Some results may be worng, sorry for that...
My next test will be of the battery drop. I'm not a judge, this is only for comparate and analyse for your future update in some kernel based these kernels for you enjoy the best of each.
Original kernel is the results of the Original kernel in CM7.2 cooper signed.

This happens with OC kernel? Because it has two frequencies, 806 and 787.
Thanks for this interesting info!
The biggest differences are SD read/write performance (original kernel very slow) -- however note this does not affect database I/O at all!!! Is there some cache at play here?
With the default 800MHz value in stock kernel, It is actually 787MHz
There was a post describing how kernels calculate a thing called PLU and such which makes it's actually 787

I could be wrong, but..
DATABASE I/O - This is the speed of input and output signals (Processor and ROM) and not the speed of acess files and folders in sd card. The test in sd card varies, so i include the line with Exclude SD Results.
Good work. You actually bothered to contribute to the community! Even though some may say benchmarks are useless, its still a widely used tool. And there is no better way to test

You're welcome. That would be great.
Great!
Thks friends.
I had assumed database I/O was combined file read/write along with CPU etc. -- sqlite uses filesystem based files so it should also be testing file access, but again this may be cached and therefore that is the difference to the read/write benchmarks? The Antutu website gives no technical description of what their tests do — very disappointing...
so ketut's kernel is better? i was going to try skynet28`s modificated by gorolegov in vo-1 (24.4.12)

I'm not judging any of these kernels, but for me, Blackhawk was more stable and showed a great performance. You can download them and draw their conclusions. Both improve the performance of the device! They're great work!

I think so. It makes no sense to me he do a test database I / O, and then read and write to SD card, if the test I / O is being tested on the SD card.

Just to remind some people that may not know this kernel will not show the best synthetic benchmarks results but its a performer! It will perform just as good as any kernel that benches really high in benchmarking, so if your scores are not crazy high, don't worry, go read about why this is. Faux has a complete read up on why this is, the main thing is that your device will run smooth all around and you will get better battery life along with great performance. Just because you don't get 25000 when running an antutu or any other benchmarking test does not mean anything when it comes to this kernel, from my experience, its all about user performance with faux's kernel. Thats my experience anyways.
Thanks again faux!!!

Glad to see your kernel for the find 5. Get my device tomorrow and cant wait for flashing your kernel.
For some reason it wont let me rate this thread, I don't understand why? But it deserves 5 stars I really like your kernels faux, I use them on my devices that you support and bought all your apps. I just hope that someday I will get to fully use your kernel on my Find5 with Custom Roms :fingers-crossed:
