On the n4 using purity rom 4.4.2 mako with a clean flash with Franco kernel Plus flashed but getting a message on supersu that the phone is not rooted and the Superus binaries aren't installed ... So re-rooted the phone with the n4 toolkit and everything went well but still supersu says phone is not rooted.... Help please!

Update binaries or download a recent cwm flashable supersu and flash it . Just Google it and you'll be o.k.

That is the one I downloaded but after the flash and I click on reboot. A message saying that the rom may flash a stock recovery and gives me the option to disable the stock recovery or not. Is this normal... Btw the first time flashing I disabled don't want to click on no just in case of a brick so want to know what's the message is about...

Are you using latest cwm? But then again, this always happen with cwm. On twrp never have a single problem with supersu.

How to return Oppo find 5 back to stock

It's very easy. Just flash the stock ROM. If you need to go back to stock recovery too, there's a thread in the oppo forums that has a link to it, out you could just make a backup in recovery and save the boot.img on your computer and flash it using fastboot. This phone is a lot like a nexus and is easy to root and return to stock.

You can also say 'NO' to disable recovery flash when using a custom recovery to flash stock firmware.. badabing badaboom your back to stock with stock recovery!

I think CWM gives you this option but TWRP disables recovery flash by default. At least that has been my experience. One of the reasons I prefer CWM.

[Q] TWRP recovery is asking for password

TWRP recovery is asking password , can't wipe data, factory reset, flash stock rom. Can anyone help me?:crying:
Have you installed Twrp manually? Because maybe you flashed a wrong version to your phone recently. Have you updated Twrp before the password appeared?

Flashify recovery install

I've installed twrp via Flashify and i'm ready to start flashing rooms, but i'm wondering what kind of limitations I have in terms of kernels and whatnot?
I know that with Loki it eliminates the need to unlock the bootloader, but being that I didn't pushing using adb and just used Flashify will I face any problems flashing any roms like CM or carbon?
Thanks!

Nope. Flash away, your fine.
Support your Devs......
Thanks a bunch lads, I wasn't sure if I was gonna be able to or not so you've made this phone infinitely better than my xperia zl from before. I was i love with thing but now this G2 is the full package for me.
This has been the easiest root and recovery install ever, easier than a nexus lol!
All I need now is the premium pack for LG G2 xposed pack and i'm all set.
I'm well aware it's only $0.99 but i'm literally that broke until pay day hahaha

which twrp can i flash being that i took the ota and rooted after the update? i've read on a few threads that once you took the ota, you can't flash twrp. also, has anyone seen or tried the twrp app in the play store? results from those that have?

[Q] Flash 5.1

Hello guys!
My Nexus 4 is running PA 5 Alpha 2, rooted and custom kernel of course.
I got the .zip file of the 5.1 OTA.
How should I flash it?
How did you flash PA in the first place? Just follow the same steps. You should flash it with a custom recovery e.g. TWRP.

You can't flash the ota in a custom recovery. You have to sideload it in the stock recovery. You have to be 100% stock system, kernel and recovery.
