Click to collapse
Maybe the problem is due to CWM... If you can, flash TWRP and an other ROM and see if it works....

Hello everyone..
I need your help. My phone was on stock firmware (D802), but rooted with TWRP installed. Then i tried to install the new OTA (4.4.2), afterwards my phone had downloaded the OTA and i pressed install, i was directed to TWRP and stuck there. I can't reboot the system, it just returns to TWRP, and i can't get the adb drivers to detect my phone..
HELP ME!

Had the same problem and used TWRPs own Terminal through this tutorial:

I rooted G2, installed auto rec, wiped ewerything, but then recovery offered to install su for root, i swiped to install it and now phone wont start. It bootlops now and only download mode is working, but...
When i connect it to the pc and try the lg software that usualy fix the phone, now recognises phone as g-pad (LGV500). It wond do nothing to connect, in download mode drivers only instal themselves to half. Nothing works.
Any sugestions?
Maybe try installing Googles generic ADB USB drivers?
Solved. Found right recovery command & installed g3 rom.
Cheers
I forgot that my phone is rooted and I updated my LG G2 from jb to kitkat, and ended up bootloop
no download
no fastboot
cant detect by pc
only stock recovery mode. I try clear cache and restore factory setting but still the same problem (LG LOGO show up then after 5sec it shut down and restart all over again) it can be detected if I pick from stock recovery update from ADB but it shows on my device manager that its ADB and not COMPORT so I cant Flash stock firmware with it
Pls I need help... thanks in advance ^_^

Hey guys, I know there are lots of brilliant minds in here, so I really need help, since g2 is my 2nd daily driver and my g4 died for some frickin' reason. Running D802 with cm11 flashed and cwm recovery.
Basically, I accidently accepted the auto software update and now, my phone rebooted and cannot boot (only boots into recovery). It cannot boot into download mode, so flashing the stock Android .kdz doesn't work without the dw mode. I tried to flash a ROM thru adb, but my pc didn't detect my g2 as an adb device, even tho I installed lg's usb drivers.
I really need the phone by tommorow and I have like 3 hours to do everything, any help would be appreciated a LOT.
tl;dr
LG G2 (hard?) bricked
no download mode
recovery still intact
phone doesn't boot
pc doesn't recognize it
basically stuck in recovery
