My Bluetooth is turning on but it isn't detecting nearby visible devices and continue its scan without stopping

you havent said what rom/kernel you are using
have you set the other devices to be discoverable?
can other devices see your phone? (make sure its set to be discoverable)
also please title your threads correctly - just putting Q doesnt help when looking through the list
I am using stock kernel i.e. 2.6.35.7

sounds like its working fine to me
you wont be able to detect other devices unless the other device is set to be discoverable or you are paired with it

I use ubuntu...!!! When I connect my phone to pc and put it in mass storage mode, banshee doesn't recognize it...!!! But, when I connected my friend's HTC wildfire in the same mode, it just pops up and gives me an option to sync music...!!! Wtf...!!! How come...!!!

For me it's also working fine, tried Banshee, Rhythmbox and Clementine so far. Is your SD card mounted when you plug in your phone ? Can you access it ?
What kernel is your arc running on ?

Yes sd card is mounted...!!! Shotwell does detect and import photos, but banshee never does...!!! Intact I didn't know it does until I connected wildfire...!!! Tried all kind if kernels starting from stock to whatever is available here...!!!

Create a file in the root of the sd card called ".is_audio_player" with the following text

Thanks...!!! That worked...!!! Now banshee does see my phone...!!! Pop up has to something with my ubuntu settings but the major problem is solved...!!!

If you can find "Mount USB storage" in the storage menu, then you can use it easily with the OTG cable, but if you cant find it,then you must integrate OTG drivers in the kernel to use it.

i rooted and changed permission on the /system/ folder to 644, and i my phone doesnt get to boot past the boot logo, and automatically boots into recovery any help ?
I can't get this thing rooted for nothing...but my first issue is getting the drivers installed? I've downloaded and installed and still not working...is there another way to root or a link someone could provide to the right drivers I've searched and can't find **** on this thing. .Please and thank you

Hi All,
i had installed Xperia Z2 custom rom over my Xolo q700, however it was stuck after on start screen and never started. I had used Calvic tp image it initially. I tried using Mini UI then, which did not work again. It was also stuck on boot screen. I read on the net, that i needed to first flas my mobile with xolo Q700i software using SP tol. I tried that too, but my phone's usb was not recognized and nor i new hoe to change the usb to flash it back. Somebody please help me, atleast to recover the Xolo Q700 firmware. Please help. On urgent basis.

Install vcom drivers, mobistel driver. And pdanet+
Then connect ur phone, power on the phone, necessary drivers will get installed,
Power off the phone n disconnect, now run, sp flash tools n follow the rest procedure, connect the phone without battery. Try it if it could help.
