Don't think MOP works in CM does it? well didn't when I tried at least!, just flash the normal Stock Image via PC-ODIN and it'll revert you back with no issues.

Thank you very much!

[Q] rom Question

Hi
Im new to Android and got some questions. I ´v been reading but at this point i rather ask.
I got an I9505 Int unbranded model on 4.2.2 (UBMGA) knox free. I would like to try out some roms but be able to revert back to stock for official updates in the future.
I would like to tryout GE of the latest 4.4.2 without knox or locked bootloader is that possible?
Also if its possible to install an official 4.3 TW version without the bloatware?
Just need a push in the right direction.
Thanks

You can start rooting your phone and then flash a Custom recovery such as Philz/TWRP/CWM and flash any 4.3 Rom's (Bloatware) you like and make sure its a knoxfree rom. and about 4.4 kitkat it wont work for us Oldbootloader (NOWIFI) since Samsung did not release any kernel source yet . so be patience . Until they relase the Official. Have a nice day.
And If you wanna go back just flash a 4.2.2 Prerooted BMGA stock > Reset binary > Flash a normal Stock 4.2.2

No worries mate , feel free to ask anything here if you got any problem , and im sure alot of xda member's will try to solve that problem "Btw if your flashing a custom rom via recovery make sure to wipe or follow their instruction in order to prevent any issue .

No. Unless you flash a Knox-free custom ROM, but you can't do it with the official one

Hi,
As long as they are custom rom you can jump back and forth no problem , custom rom do not have bootloaders ( stock roms do) , you just have to BACKUP first ( Nandroid , EFS) full wipe and install

thanx brother for instant reply. i have installed latest Ozcan rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2743877
main problem is that the rom is KITKAT .and i am unable to access USB MASS STORAGE mode on my S4. previously UMS mode was working on version 4.2.2 . i was using third party app for that - Usb Mass storage Enabler. So i want my functionality Back.

Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum, so I'd like to start off by saying hello. I have a question, I've rooted my Canadian Note 4 using the CF-AUTO Root, and I've flashed a custom recovery as well. Everything is working smoothly, however, I would like to know if there are any cool custom roms that I can flash to make my phone run differently/more effectively?
I've looked and seen a bunch of custom roms, but I'm not quite sure if it's safe to flash it to my canadian device.
Thanks in advance,
-Nick

Nick, you need to give this rom a try, its definitely the best one I've ever tried on three other devices. I'm also on the canadian N910W8 so you need to flash a custom kernel as well for this rom to work as its a for a tmobile variant. Happy flashing!

The above anwser is incorrect. What he said only applies to official firmware.
It will probably work. Just try it out. There is no harm done if it doesn't.

Can I use another stock ROM?

I am having some issues with my device and I am trying to work it out. I would like to know if I can install another S5 Stock ROM on my SMG900T. If so which one would be best and would I do it via Odin?
Please be kind, I understand this question may sound stupid. I have been trying on different XDA threads to figure out what the issue is but I was told what is happening can not happen. So I am trouble shooting the Stock ROM.
I don't think so.... you may get bricked your s5.....

Ok thanks. I do have to say the S5 is the worst phone I ever had it replaces the Nokia C3 by far. Never should have 'upgraded'.
You can use the FOL1 firmware this is Android 5.1.1 or the GPI1 marshmallow. Both of them worked fine on my G900T. You can look for them on sammobile and flash it via Odin.

You can flash any of these stock ROMs https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G900T/ just choose your android version!
Good luck
Franck
you can actually flash pretty much any ROM you want as long as you dont Odin a tar.md5 for a different phone. I have a G900P and am using a G900H ROM on it. Just need to stick with a snapdragon based ROM if yours is a snapdragon phone
