Since I have been on 12b for the vs980(and I have clean flashed various versions of Malladus) the incoming call notification pops up twice, one right behind the other. I clear the first notification(either ignore or answer the call) then the second notification stays on the screen. I have to reboot to get rid of it. Is there a fix for this? Thank you!

Are you rooted? Have you tried enabling and disabling the feature as a reset?
Yes I'm rooted and I have tried turning the feature on and off.

The culprit was full!screen app. As soon as I give the app access it causes duplicate pop ups.

Glad you found the culprit. Working fine on 12B stock.

Rooted with gingerbreak and sideload. Now all of a sudden I am losing my call log. It randomly erases and is a pain. Any ideas?

Do you use Quick App Manager (used to be Quick App Clean Cache) or any other cache/history cleaner? If you don't set call history as an exception it will wipe that out every time you do a history wipe.

No and I removed my history eraser...drove me nuts. I installed dialer one and it seemed to fix the issue for now

All the sudden Watch On app is turning itself on and showing in the notifications area. I turn it off(tell it not to) but when I restart it's back. What happened? Fix?
Thanks.

Check your settings and disable the "show remote in notifications"

Thanks, but that's what I have tried 6 times now. It automatically puts it back on restart.
Please help.

I came here and was just about to ask the same question. I could not figure out why this thing was always on in the notifications and status bar!

That is weird because I use my watch on app all the time. I disabled the notification from settings once and it stayed true. Are you running a custom ROM? I'm on ShoStock v2.0.

Not rooted. All stock.

I am running SHOstock 2 and it happens to me too.
I reported it to samsung, you should too,
in the Settings near the bottom
Send feedback or get help
Report this faulty app Please!!!!
fix
Unless Samsung has updated the app behind the scenes.
This seems to have fixed the issue:
Under settings go into your applications
go to Samsung Watchon and hit the clear button,
Yes, you will have to re-setup your TV\Cable,
but the checkbox does not reset now.
I emailed them about the issue. You can report bugs from the app. I suggest everyone do the same

I'm just curious if there is a way to get rid of this number over the app. I'm trying to use a different SMS app and that number unless I missed it is no where in the settings to turn off.

Which specific app are freezing? Is it the LGMMS or VZWSMS APK?

Remove the Icon from your screen drag it to the trash bin
After you uncheck notifications in setting. Open the last message you received. It will clear the number and you won't get them anymore until you activate notifications again.

Anyone run into this problem? I used it the first couple weeks I had it and there was no problem. Now it doesn't work at all. I have factory reset and even flashed back to complete stock. Any suggestions?

Test with NFC Tag Info. NFC seems off or random to me. Never have extensively tested it.
It just won't read anything. Tag or another phone.

Hey all I recently just installed the latest CM11 nightly on my LG G2 T-Mobile and as I'm checking out the ROM I've noticed that I can't just say " Ok Google" and it pop up as in the Nexus 5 or can't slide to from left screen to pull it up. Is something that yet hasn't been implemented or did something go wrong during installation? All else seems to be working fine though. Haven't checked camera but assume it works... Any information would be great.

When you install CM11 did you remember how you had 2 choices for your launcher. One have the Google always listing feature wile the other does not. If you switch the launcher than that feature should work.
