My resource for Note 10.1 (2014) - Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) General

Hey guys,
I'm trying to put together a good resource for this tablet; one more suitable for the end user vice the forum dweller. Tons of great info here on XDA, but it can be intimidating for a casual buyer looking for info.
I'm trying to keep a list of accessories, apps, quick links to common stuff, etc. in a clean web page.
I'd love any recommendations on products, apps, etc. that my fellow Note 10.1 2014 owners have discovered.
You can reach the site here: MOD EDIT
Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Android forums

Hi
I have opened a new forum for Android platform.
http://www.android-forums.com/
See you there!.
Looks like a productive site! LOTS of information!
Thanks what a nice job
It still allows you to do many things such as approve friend requests, send and receive messages, search for friends, update your current status and upload photos directly from your G1.

New User - Advice.

Good evening all,
Last night I ordered a HTC Magic (Android) from Vodafone.
I am completely new to having a "decent" phone with any kind of operating system on it. I work in IT Technical Support so am not a complete n00b but I would like to know if there are any tips, warnings or advice people could offer to get me started using my Magic to its full potential.
Any advice on good apps to get (and how to get them) would also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Gav
Good afternoon,
READ READ READ READ! Here are some really good threads.

Also read the stickys in the Dream sections. Good luck!
You will be able to download new apps from the Android Market app on your phone. A good first choice would be Barcode Scanner. Once you have that you can easily download apps from your computer by scanning the barcode at sites like androlib.com and cyrket.com.

There are a few sites on the web that review apps, and there have been some awards handed out to apps. A little research on the web will find some answers.

HD2 blog?

I'm searching for a HD2 blog or site with the newest tips and tricks etc. Preferably one that is watching closely what is going on here, on the xda-developers forums. One, that could be a sort of layer on top of these forums and that I could visit when I want a new update of all those nice tips, tricks, advices updates etc. that are found on these forums.
HTCPedia is quite good.
You've given me a good idea for my blog though, as I have a domain, webspace and a Wordpress account with no content at the moment.
In fact someone has already bought hd2blog.com and filled it with a crappy Wordpress template and two posts. Which is exactly what I wanted to do.

That would be awesome!! There's so much going on here that it is impossible to keep "up-to-date". It would be so nice to get a compilation of news, tips, new add-ons, updates, ongoing hot discussions etc. etc. that is mainly based on this forum.

The Top Free Android Apps

Hi folks,
I've posted about this in the Hero forum some time back, but I'm rocking the Desire now and I hope that you might have use for it as well. I've tried to gather the top free apps Android has to offer, with descriptions, links back to the developers' websites, QR codes and hands-on videos. It's currently more than a 100 apps divided in 11 categories, and I always try to keep the list up-to-date.
What do you guys think of it? Any ideas on how I can improve the guide? Did I miss to include any great apps?

nice
Nice list, i really liked Buzz Deck and issuu
Have made some major updates to the top free Android apps guide, and it now includes the best widgets and live wallpapers as well. There are of course some good apps missing, but it should be pretty complete and up-to-date.
Running isn't the only form of working out.
JEFit is a fantastic weight lifting application.
VPlayer is a great video player for playing non-native video formats and is vastly superior to rockplayer.
Colornote is a good notes application.
Movies is fantastic if you're into cinema.
thnx 4 ur effort=)
found a few nice apps, also saw some I already had.
thanks
Great idea, thanks. I honestly read these and find them helpful from time to time, which says a lot since I ignore the vast majority of typical low quality internet publications in general.
Nru is another AR app similar to Layar.

Reported due to linking to a video of a warez app, to glorify it. Any website/app/software etc. that provides people to get paid apps for free is prohibited in this site.

ROMs clearly defined

First post so hello all you wonderful WM7 modifiers! slightly used Trophy 2.1 MNG & ready and excited and ready to contribute.
webOS hacker unfortunately bailing. Spent hours reading today and know what to do. But echoing DavidinCT comment on the proper ROMS, it does not seem like there is an updated or simple page which to use, find conflicting info around. Could it either be updated on head page, or in a Sticky? Also, multiple posts have alternate links to FREE downloads, but most do not link. I understand hosted sites, and it generating income, but after dl one and a half files while reading, bagged it because not sure which one. TIA
