I have rooted my G2 and put TWRP on it and just backed up my stock rom. is there anything elese i should back up. i know on smasung devices you should back up you EFS folder becuase that contains files for you imei, is there any files on the g2 that should be backed up?
If you select all the items of the nandroid menu you backed up also EFS folder. Then you are ready to flash a rom

I'm on ROM and everytime I backup Boot + Data + System using TWRP, the backup size is > 2 GB and the Data itself is ~ 1.5 GB. I don't know why??
I tried,
Clean install and restoring backup from TiBu
Clean Install and setting up Data for each app
Dirty install
But for each of these the problem (or behavior) remains the same? Is this normal or more on the upside?
Me too with last twrp 2.7.0 i have backup my stock KitKat and was 4.2 GB.

I think the weight comes from your apps and theirs data. So if you're have many games, the weight increase

Did you enable compression? Backup and Restore is going to take longer, but your backup is smaller.
I was just using my phone, and suddenly it shut off I think the OTA accidentally started.
Now it only goes to recovery mode TWRP?
What do I do?!
Download any rom. Place it in a OTG USB. Then plug in it, wipe all and install the rom.

Anyway I can save my data?
I don't know. But you can try. Do a backup ( only DATA! ). Don't backup system. Now is bricked. After you backed up your data, do a full wipe and reinstall your previous system.

Hello,
Next time please make a double post only after 24H without an answer, otherwise modify the one before.
CWM and TWRP recoveries don't backup and restore /preload partition, only Philz does. In that partition there are some system apps/services, without them you may have weird errors or something not working at all. The only way to restore stock ROM in your case is to reflash with Odin. Next time use Philz recovery to backup your stock ROM (enabling custom backup and including /preload) if you don't want to use Odin again

-I backup my stock rom using nandroid backup!
So i there any way to use nandroid backup files as unbrick file? When device is hard bricked or soft bricked?
-Unbrick oneplustwo via nandroid backup file when device is hard bricked?
(when we do not use twrp or any recovery)

I would say no, how would you restore a TWRP nandroid/full backup with no TWRP ?
But after restoring basic bootloader and system using the manufacturer restore tool/image you can restore TWRP and then your nandroid backup.

Hi all.
Yesterday, I had a problem with Multirom installing Android N like second rom.
After this, the first rom won't boot.
Ok, I restore the Factory MHC19I, decrypt with fastboot command, installed TWRP 3.0.0-1, restored TWRP backup of Pure Nexus, but the apps (like Solid Explorer or Whatsapp or Advanced Download Manager) have not write permission!!
Via TWRP I can delete file, via Android nothing to do. I can only install app from App Store.
I tried with a new clean installation of Pure Nexus Project after a wipe system/boot/dalvick/cache but nothing.
Any solution??
Thanks ?

Solved. New flash of factory image. Full reboot. Reboot, decrypt, installed TWRP and restored backup.
