[Q] Change Stock Launcher Grid - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

any dev's or RC's know how to change the stock launcher grid to 5rowsx4colums? if so, would you mind giving a little guide on how to do this? or if making a zip to change it would be less work than making a guide that would be greatly appreciated also.

ADW question

Hey Two Quick Questions about rom building,
One how do you make AWD the default launcher if your cooking a rom?
Secondly, how do you have the ADW settings menu appear inside phones default settings menu?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Easiest way is to rename the the ADW apk to Launcher2.apk or whatever the default name is in /system/.
I don't know how to do the 2nd, but it should just be as easy as adding a new menu item to the settings menu and linking it to the settings menu in the apk.
I have seen this done in a number of roms does anyone have any more details on how to do it >.>

Help With Custom Lockscreen

I've been looking around for a while now but can't find what i'm looking for so here's a thread asking if someone can help me out.
I'm running an odexed JVU rom, and i'm looking for an AOKP style lockscreen.
One where you can either unlock your phone, or go straight to selected apps.
Kinda like this
I'm aware i could change to another rom which supports this, but i don't plan on changing my rom just yet.
go to google play and search go locker
but before installing this Make sure GO Launcher EX V2.58 or above has been installed, u can find it also on google play for free
I'm aware of Go Locker and WidgetLocker and other similar apps but i don't really want to install them, (too much battery or ram usage and i'm more than happy with ADW)
I was hoping if anyone new any mods i could flash through CWM

Theming entire Android system?

Hello guys,
Im building a custom rom which will be pure kitkat base on AOSP and will be name Bleach Xtreme. The problem is that for me to make it original and unique I need to theme it in white instead of any Black from kitkat. I like to see something different and unique. How can I archive theming to white the status bar, navigation background and same for the System Settings, SystemUI like popups etc and few system apps like calculator, etc?
I can use the help and willing to donate if ask or need it.
Thanks
Anyone have some time to guide? I see my concept was already stole on a new rom. Lol
Try using XPOSED Framework with XBLAST TOOLS and/or the Frame work.apk
Not much of a Dev but I know a Lil bit
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Well the problem is that i know how to do that. I want to theme manually the framework-res.apk, Settings.apk and the systemui.apk. I want to theme the rom itself.
Thanks very much for your help

[APP REQ]SM-T230NU Keyboard Needed

So, I tried modifying my keyboard and Launcher and the mods didn't take. I did not make a backup first. (Stupid me). Could someone please pull and post their original factory Samsung Keyboard and TouchWiz Launcher for me? I would greatly appreciate it.
This is for the SM-T230NU. Thanks.
EDIT: I found a launcher that works great HERE so, I just need the keyboard, now.

[Q] Widgets size problem

Good day everyon,
recentyl I reflashed my Nexus 7 2013 LTE from stacok kitkat 4.4.4 to Paranoid Android pa_deb-4.6-BETA6-20141103. Alotugh I am quite happy with that rom, there is one thing that bother me greatly. I will show you this on screenshots. Some widgtes f.ex. email are now a bit bigger , hence I cannot place for out them one screen, like I used to.
You can see in attachments what I used to have, and what I have now
Anyone can help with getting those widgets to be like sized as in stock kitkat?
best regards and help for any help in advance
Widgets are handled by the launcher, not the ROM

I don't know what launcher you were on with KitKat.
You can literally install any launcher from the play store and use it instead
