Hi Guys,

I recently flashed the stock rooted 4.1.2 update via twrp. Coming from clean ROM, does anyone know where I could find a flashable zip to add an extended power menu to the stock ROM? Mostly Interested In Being able to boot into recovery easier. Thanks in advance.

I second this, would be nice to have/add to a stock build.
Now that this has been moved to q&a, anybody?

Has anyone made a flashable zip of 4.3 OTA please.

Does anyone have the flashable grouper OTA zip? I know they are already rooted 4.3 ROMs but I rather use the OTA zip.
Thanks in advance.

Download the factory image from this official link and flash it on your Nexus. Don't forget to backup your data first as flashing it will erase your device completely.

could you tell me the steps that you follow to install the factory image?
Easiest is to use Wugfresh's Nexus Tool Kit.
Otherwise if you're rooted with custom recovery, you can find a flashable version in one of the Dev threads.
Follow the instructions in the OP of either method and all will go well.
Here you go, follow this guide.

If you read the app info on play store it says it won't work on 4.3 but they are trying to find a fix.

Ok so we just have to sit tight correct?

I would sit tight and let the app developers try and straighten things out. I updated my nexus4 to 4.3 but will wait awhile before doing my n7. I'm sure it won't be long!

Ok need a little help trying the root kit but for some reason I keep getting adb can't connect

Only thing I can suggest is make sure you have USB debugging enabled and make sure you have the correct drivers installed. It's probably best to ask in the thread of the toolkit you're using, I haven't tried many toolkits but wugs has a pretty good walk thru for driver installation http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766475

I followed the instructions in the thread below for 'Already updated to 4.3 and have an OTA notificaion? (JWR66Y from JWR66V)'.
I unrooted, flashed the update zip in recovery and immediately after flashed the superuser zip and all was fine.

Boot into recovery and flash Chainfire's SuperSU package. After that you are rooted.

Alright, you've got root and clockwork. That's a start. Basically, if the ota won't load, you're gonna have to use clockwork to flash it your self. Flashing a ROM is when you delete the /system partition (it contains your systemui, jelly bean itself, etc.). Basically find a ROM, factory reset, flash it. You might not have to factory reset but as always...
Take a backup!

Question about rooting.

Hi everyone!
I just rooted my phone with IOroot following this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45692679#post45692679 . I was just wondering if that process unlocked my bootloader? If not, do I need to unlock it to flash CyanogenMod?
Thanks
No And no. Just install a custom recovery and flash cm

I have ROM manager on my device. Will ClockWorkRecovery work fine or should I use TWRP?
Sent from my LG-D802 using Tapatalk
Do not use rom manager. It doesn't work on this phone, or any phone in my opinion ?. Download flashify or freegee. To install a recovery, that you will need to download
