Hi!
I have bought a note 3 from a local mobile phone shop in Singapore. It doesn't appear to be a local set. How do I check the country of the phone? Any kind advice?
By the way, I'm able to register online with Samsung do I think the phone is genuine.

Go to recovery. If you are unrooted you should see a 3 digit code in the bottom right corner (UK no carrier is BTU, Australia no carrier is XSA, you get the picture). Do a search on region codes...
Screen shot of *#1234#. Thanks.
I'm un rooted, how to go to recovery? Thanks!

Good morning.
How do I verify the origin and language of note3 no brand?
My version AP is XXXUBMI7, CSC is OXXBMI4, CP is XXUBMI6 but I do not know the nation.
Without this information can not take the ROM to the root!
Thanks

If you are running the sock recovery, boot into it and it will tell you the three digit country code in there.

Hello
I need to make a hard reset to my phone, and I want to also update to 4.4.2, but I see a lot of firmwares on sammobile and I don't know which one install.
My phone is free and I don't want to lost knox 0x0, region will be great if its uk one or someone with english default.
Any idea?
You can try out the latest rom from Trinidad and Tobago TTT as it supports English by default.
Also you should know that once you upgraded to Kitkat 4.4.2 you won't be able to downgrade to Jelly Bean back

Is your phone a European model? An N9005 or an N900 variant?, is it a HK Note? What CSC do you currently use?
Dial *#1234# in your keypad and post the results.
Need more information before guiding you..

Hi
It is a sim free italian N9005
Right now it is :
AP: N9005XXUBMJ1
CSC: N9005XXBMJ1
You can root without losing KNOX via Universal Root De La Vega. - then you can upgrade via Mobile Odin Pro and keep your KNOX - have a good read around and understand the process and risks involved etc.

Hello,
I updated my Note 3 to Kitkat 4.4.2 with CSC:N9005OJVENB2 ... AP: N9005XXUENC2
, but I'm not satisfied with battery consumption
I heard that it's a problem with the new update,
Samsung has put a new update but only for a few Regions including Thailand which is the only country without Carrier name next to it (CSC: N9005XXUEND6 ... AP:N9005OLBEND1)
So is it safe to use another Region's Firmware ?
Here is the link of the firmware
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=29167
Thanks
I live in Thailand and have this software I find the battery life to be very average. My note 2 was far superior
