Oupeng Next (chinese opera browser) looks exactly Opera beta. But it was fully on chinese language. I just wanted to translate to english. I decompiled it with apk multi tool and edited string.xml in /res/values/. But when i try to compile it showes error. I edited the xml in notepad++.
So what is the real way to translate an android app???
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english...
This guide may help you:

Or simply use the Play Store version....

Hi, I really would like to get the Samsung SGS Chinese keyboard for my Euro-version SGS running Darky 10.1. Does anyone have this or could provide it?
Thanks
sorry...bump.
Anyone have this or knows where to get it? BTW, with my limited Chinese ability, I actually downloaded a Samsung keypad app for the SGS i9000 from a Chinese site. But it would not install and I don't know if its even Chinese. I can post/attach that, but not sure it would do any good.
[deleted this because double posted]
Chinese Keyboard
Here are the APK and library files essential to install the chinese keyboard. Put them with root explorer to \system\app and \system\lib

You are awesome. I was not expecting this.
Funny thing is, I got an update to my Smart Keypad Pro w/ Chinese app today that allows me to use it in the dictionary apps that previously were not compatible (the character selection block was hidden for some reason while inputing into some text input fields). But I'm going to download the attached and see how good it is. Thank you so much.

I'm not a Swipe fan, but I'm willing to try it. However, there seems to be a ROM called dxjv9 and all the search results on these forums point to those. Did you mean search the internet?

Hey, so...it FCs. Does not even come up. Oh well. I still really appreciate your help.
some of you know DianXin ROM , of course , it's not my work , but somehow , i am moderator in DianXin forum , so i posted it in Development section.
and as these kind tester said , it is nice ROM , but it's still not good enough , like there is still some untranslated chinese part.
so i am here to ask all of you kind people to help me find out where/which/what part is untranslated.
click me to DianXin ROM thread
i don't wanna bother you or occupy your time , but it seems can't be done just myself
thanks to all of you support and feedback !
please upload screenshot and indicate what app or where
Basically you want to decompile whatever apps you think have the untranslated parts (framework-res.apk is more than likely one). After you decompile navigate to /res/values/strings.xml and read through it. If you see any Chinese in the strings, copy the Chinese text and translate it (I use Google translate). Replace Chinese text with English (or whatever language your translating) then recompile

i did my best to understand what you wrote, but its very hard to figure it out..
try putting the apk in /data.app/?
if you want, write what you are asking in your own language, and i will translate it. maybe then i could figure out what you wrote.
***Updated Link For the 2nd Time***
Here it is...
The multilingual Android Stock ICS keyboard...
http://www.mediafire.com/?fgdzvebfpg8fwb5
It's not just Greek...it has all the missing languages form the stock keyboard.
Instalation instructions
1.put it in your SD card
2.reboot in recovery (CWM)
3.install it as a .zip file just like flashing a new ROM
4.reboot to OS
5.enjoy...
Notes:
Tested with "Aurora the ICS 4.03 for u8800pro - Versions 2.0.0/2.0.2"
In theory it should work with any ICS rom...
Please whoever tested it, write your results here.

Sorry guys
moved to app section
I suggest a better host... that one is horrible. Why don't you simply attach the download to the forum itself? Or post this on mediafire, which has no waiting time?
thanx!!!
i have downloaded it and installed as suggested . no luck. then i unzipped through my phone and installed the apk located inside. (you have to change settings-->security-->unknown sources to install a non market apk) and it installed just fine, but it also resulted in a duplicate "android keyboard" menu. no worries though! all is good. the only thing thats irritating is that it has no dictionary, at least not for greek anyway. i will post again if i find a solution..!
Dead link... wupload.com complains that they don't allow files to be shared.
Uploader please put it in a good host!
http://qrac.zapto.org/ for instance!
EDIT1:
Google gave me this alternative link:
http://www.bergfiles.com/i/bf461ee10ch22i0
Not sure if it's authentic though
EDIT2:
Forget it... also points to wupload.com
I can't download this
It says this
Note:
Wupload does not allow files to be shared. We are a STORAGE ONLY product so you can only download your own files.

Flashed.But why no chinese input?
I flashed the zip in recovery, but I can't seem to find the app: not in settings, not in app drawer, not in /system/apps
Any ideas?
does it work on gingerbread?
Not working on Aurora 4.0.4
Tried both ways,
I run the apk file, rus ok, but no result under settings-language
same when I run the Zip file in CMW
Could we have a greek dictionary too?

Thanks
On Aurora ICS 4.0.4 - Version 5.0 update 18 Greek keyboard becomes default and cannot switch to English keyboard.
The default language of the phone is Greek too. How can I have both English and Greek keyboard languages?

Easy. Using 7 zip or win rar move your app in the system/app section. I'm not sure about languages though. Ask pikachukaki
