Hey guys, hope you all can help me with this. After installing the M2DC, when i scroll through i realized that the google maps tab has a 'black patch'.
Anyone else having the same problem? Sorry new to this stuff...
Actually i'm using sevenrock rom and previously quarks 20130113 and with both of then i cant access to gps with google apps(maps, navigator,my tracks,sky...) the gps stablize position but google program says "waiting to location". If i use another gps program like glympse, twonav, there is no problem and work perfectly.
I try googleing but it looks no more people is sufering this, only one person in xda without answer.
Any help?
Thanks

Hi jotakx,
From memory, the solution is very easy.
I had a similar problem in a different handset (now broken).
You would have to enable Location somewhere in Google Now.
This will allow you to use the GPS in Google Apps.
Note that by doing this, anonymous data may be sent to Google.
Thanks,

I try enabled all option from google, allowing access for everything, installing google search to get google now to enable location options but nothing solve the situation.
I found this
]h**p://dottech.org/94020/how-to-fix-please-enable-google-apps-location-error-in-google-maps-and-google-now-on-android/
thanks to your reply but in setting there is no option for me to "Let Google apps access your location " and my version is 4.1.2 JB Sevenrock mod based on Quarks. And the message “Please enable Google apps location access” never appers to me.
I will try it once again.
Thanks in advance
Works again!!!
After update gapps to 2012224 version without voice the option allowing googles apps gps usage appears and then everythong goes smoothly.
Thanks

I found two answers. .. First is to clear cache for market and clear data for pay services, reboot.
Second is to remove Google account and re-add it.
Neither seems to fully correct it, seems some apps will d/l and other won't. Anyone else have any luck sorting it?
I read Google is in denial and it looks pretty widespread. Beuler? Beuler?

Ever since activating my Nexus 6P the Google app has set itself to have safe search on and will not let me turn it off. From the Google settings page on from a browser it shows that it should be off for my account. I cannot change this for some reason. Has anyone seen this before?

I just noticed this as well ...I am not having issues on my PC or my nexus 5 on cyanogen. I have searched some Google forums and I was not able to find a fix. If someone knows a fix please lead us in the right way.
Edit: also It is seems this is the same any browser I downloaded using different search engines.
Just to add I have the same issue
