I'm on ginger blur if it helps.
When I press the mic button nothing happens... Anyone else having this issue?
On my gf's atrix (stock) it uses that motorola voice recognition one. Can it because I don't have that? Can that be changed in swype settings? (i didn't see the option to change)

I ran into this same issue. The solution was to download vlingo from the market. Works flawlessly now.

I dont like Vlingo anywhere close to Google. I was watching this thread hoping someone could present a solution for restoring Google voice commands to the Atrix.?
So I've done quite a bit of research on this issue.
It seems that the version of Swype that comes preinstalled on the Atrix has Vlingo setup as it's voice recognition engine - and there is no way to change this. Upon installing GingerBlur, Vlingo is removed as bloatware and you're left with a dysfunctional voice recognition button.
So, you have two options:
- Reinstall Vlingo
- Uninstall Swype, sign up for the Swype beta and install that instead
Doing the latter will give you a much better version of Swype, and it's voice recognition engine is the built in Google one.
In order to do so, first sign up for the Swype beta from beta.swype.com. When you do and finish activating and such, you'll be sent an email with a link to the download URL to visit on your phone.
Before you can install it however you must uninstall the current Swype. MOTOROLA doesn't make this easy - you have to manually remove the files.
The two files you're targeting are /system/app/Swype.apk and /System/lib/libSwypecore.so. I used Root Explorer to move them over to the external SD card in case things didn't work out.
Once they're gone, you can go ahead and install the new Swype Beta from the installer that you have downloaded (after logging in with the account you made)

Got my Nexus 4 today (UK) but the Sound Search widget is missing which is unusual as Google Play Music is live now in the UK. How can I enable it without rooting?
Only way I know is from root with titanium
Wallet you can enable from market if you have downloaded it previously

I do not know what this is, but google it and it has something to do with a call recorder software I wqs trying to install on my galaxy s4, but I wasnt able to get any of those apps working on my phone I lost hope on that, but every 6 hours or so my phone is saying that is the storage is low, so I go and see why and it's this killermobile thing. I delete it but it comes back again, I dont want to keep deleting that log file, and I dont have any call recorder app installed. Thank You if you can tell me how to get rid of it. The phone is rooted too, but I had the problem before I rooted it

first off, uninstall advanced task killer...
Go in to manage applications and look for the killer mobile app or something possibly related
If you can't find anything there, then download a file manager from google play store and search for it under data/apps

OK,
I installed Home2 shortcut. Set it so that Dragon would open with a double click on Home. Now I can't find S-voice on my phone. I first noticed when I went to use the voice trigger for the Camera app and it kept force closing. S-voice is missing and so are all the voice related options in settings. WTF? I didn't uninstall it. I only unchecked its double-click setting. Any ideas about what to do to get it back?
Thanks in advance.

Just tried. No joy. Still shows voice feedback as greyed out.
This is a known and annoying problem with S-Voice that Samsung apparently isn't inclined to fix. Had it on my S4 too.
Go to Settings - Accessibility. Scroll down to Services. Turn off anything that is turned on.
Alternative if you need Accessibility Services: Use Google's voice system.
