[ROM] COUNTACH (based on B540, root, OC, supercharger, no FPS limit)

This rom is based on the official firmware B540, so android's version is 2.3.5. This is a rooted version of the B512 fw with many tweaks and improvements.
To install this rom you firstly need to upgrade to the official 2.3.5 fw (be careful: update to B512, not to B540). Then you need root permissions and the CWM recovery.

even if the rom is named as alpha (because it is new and iy needs more tests), it is really stable and optimized for every-day usage.

Anyway I have to ask you something about your custom rom.
Does your Rom have the quick settings widget in the status bar?
Did you fix the accelerometer problem? For example if you try to move on the street view (of Google Maps) with the compass mode, you understand that the accelerometer has a problem.
Can you explain what problems you solved from the stock 512 Gingerbread 2.3.5 rom from Huawei?

the rom doesn't have the quick setting widget...but the current release is only the aplha0.
i have just tried with an app called "accelerometer test" if the accelerometer works but seems that it doesn't.
from stock B512 i have not solved any problem because, using it for a month, i have not found any kind of problem. mainly i have edited the build.prop and i have added some scripts to improve performance.

no, i have simply extract the system.img using dsixda kitchen and i have merged it with the boot.img which i obtained through the pink screen.

Propably,i cannot flash it over rooted 2.2.2 stock rom.......
Maybe i have to upgrade first to flash this.....am i right or wrong???

yes, you must upgrade to official 2.3.5 (B512) because basebands are different.
ps: this is not my 1st rom, i made 2 roms for O1

I know well your work,cause i own an O1 p500,,,,,but i don't use anyone cause i didn't wanted to change baseband with lgtool and i stay with mik's rom....and btw for O1 there are plenty of good roms to use.......
PS...i made a lot of changes on 3 weeks which i own u8800 pro and i made a really fast and fully functional stock rom 2.2.2,,,,i delete about 14 system apps ,edited build.prop,created init.d folder,some other modds and a little theming,,,,and i like it very much ........maybe i create a thread and a video to saw people how good stock rom can be made......
As you understand it's very difficult for me to change baseband,as i still couldn't found a way to downgrade again if i don't like the new baseband.......and i want to have my fm radio not loose it.....
Someone must cook a rom for .32 kernel(old baseband)

update: the accelerometer should work....but sometimes it doesn't work, to make it working just reboot the phone

i try to port yr rom to my device, in huawei family, its a u9000 ideos x6, but i stuck at android green fire animation, i use .35 kernel. should i format a system? worry to do that, if i not mistaken, system will be formatted automatically when we flash new custom rom, bcoz we gv that command in updater script. what else modification should i do?

you need the boot.img from your phone (get it using the pink screen mode) and the stock update.app (the bigger one).
then extract the update.appusing dsixda kitchen, copy the system.img from working folder to original update and cook your rom.

I took boot.img from cust_backup folder using root explorer,,,it's not the same thing?? do i have to take it from pink screen??
Anyway,i'll try pink screen mode,hoping to found the "update.app ",,because i think i don't have it (you know that i don't ever use pink screen yet,,,,,all modds i made,did it with root explorer)

get it from cust backup is correct.
Then you can get the update.app from a stock firmware

when i try to open in PC it gives unexpected archive message.
could anyone tell me how to install this ROM? i am currently using Lite'ning ROM.
is there any connection with baseband version? mine is XXLPW.

Your zip seems to be incomplete, re-download and try again.

You are not supposed to open the zip, you flash directly the downloaded zip with the phone with recovery mode

1.You don't need to open the .zip.
2.Most probably your browser isn't downloading the whole ROM.I had this problem with Mozilla Firefox.Use some other browser and check that you have the same file size after downloading as listed on the download site.

How are you trying to flash the rom?
It should be flashed using CWM Recovery.
By any chance, would you be using ODIN or Rom Manager to flash it?
If so, such issues are expected.

I was getting this trouble with every Rom I tried. Saved each to external.
Then I tried saving to internal with external removed and bingo no problems.I will format external and try again sometime but for now more than happy with RR 2.6

nah...it corupts when you hard brick it.....but i think...saw somewhere that nand chip can be formated about 10.000 times.....info is not for sgs2 but for g3 aka apollo gt-i5800 postes by an dev on our forum....and i don't really know if it's correct.....but however....if u manage to flash so hard....you really don't use phone for anything else than for flashing purposes

I recently installed the JellyBlast v3 with 3.0.4 patch to my Samsung Galaxy Pocket, everything works fine except for some.
1. Device can't detect SD card
2. Bright white screen appears once the Power Button is pressed
3. Can't connect device to PC

Am I not actualized or Jelly Blast is supossed to work too in the SG Pocket?
From my knowlegde this ROM is for SAMSUNG Galaxy Young GT-5360 ONLY.
I think that you have to restore it using your nandroid backup via cmw or flash stock rom using odin. Search for the phone that you're using man.

First of all, before flashing anything, you should make a backup. If you dont have a nandroid backup, go and search for stock roms and odin for your galaxy pocket (be specific with your phone model).

Uh huh, the same as mine when I tried to flash GalaxyY's ROM-JellyBlast with my GalaxyPocket (Mehehe I know that this ROM is not meant for Gpocket, just experimenting) so the results are the same as yours, can't detect SD card and memory card, white screen appears if the device put off and USB storage is not accessible. So, what flashable kernel or ROMs you have in your SD card storage? if you have the vM00 kernels, try to flash some of that then flash a ROM THAT IS compatible with Gpocket. If not, flash your STOCK ROM by using Download mode and download the required files. Search the thread where GT-S5300 stock roms exist

Try reflashing stock rom...
follow guides and u must get your sgy gt s5360 back...

but the new problem is.............
i've reflashing stock rom usin odin but the problem is odin is not recognizing my device...

Download the usb driver of galaxy y
Connect the phone to the usb without pressing and buttons...ull reach a battery screen....drivers will start installing ...
Then remove the usb cable and get into download mode and connect the usb cable again...some more drivers will be installed...
One of the drivers needed is the samsung modem ...
This driver gets installed when ur in download mode...after this automatically odin will detect ur device..

Thats the 7zip method ..a good method for porting roms if ur using cm7 or other cm as base but using a custom rom as base u have to be carefull while copying from the initd folder and even the app folder....
Make sure u dont touch any folders
And that media error occurs when the media folder is replaced....
Try porting again with just copying the app and framework

As you said com.process.media forcecloses, you should work only on the apps and framework in the system/app & system/framework folders. If you tried to mod other files without knowledge, you may brick your device permanently.

he is porting a different rom now...and he ggot everything to work except for the launcher and the mms and contacts he could just theme them from the png of the rom and we will have a new rom in no time

p.s :: cHeck the development forum for the new cm9 nightly alpha 2.

[email protected] leave the boring stock, and take cm7 as base, as easy as ****..
what most people do :: take a cm7 theme from somewhere & copy pngs in the framework
delete the others, compile the framework.
assemble some apps, get them together. Your Rom is ready.

OFFICIAL LOLLIPOP 5.0 (DEBLOATED) (2.2 GB storage fix) for Wiko Rainbow

A few weeks ago Wiko Indonesia released stock Android Lollipop rom for our device however, it was inteded at 8gb variant leaving folks with 4gb variant with just 400mb free at first boot, but not anymore
The original size of stock rom was around 2gb (thanks to absolute preloaded garbage) which is now reduced to 700mb .I present to you Debloated stock rom with 1.85 gigs of storage at first boot. Rememeber its stock rom so it doesnt have any bugs!
Instalation instructions:
1-back up your data.
2- Use SP Flasher tools to flash this rom.
Download and unzip the package , Open SPFLASHTOOL EXE and Load the Scatter file ( Click Scatter Loading)
Switch off your device
Connect your device and Click DOWNLOAD "button" on top ( not the tab) , If it ask click "yes"
3- Recovery [email protected] is already included in the pakage.
Download LInk
Dont forget to press the thank button.

There is no custom recovery in this download. Then I restart phone after SP-Tools it shows me STOCK-Recovery...
Can someone buld a TWRP-Recovery for this ROM?

Calling on Devs to create a Deodexed recovery flashable version based on modified partion layout of this rom.
Instalation instructions:
1-back up your data.
2- Use SP Flasher tools to flash this rom.
Download and unzip the package , Open SPFLASHTOOL EXE and Load the Scatter file ( Click Scatter Loading)
Switch off your device
Connect your device and Click DOWNLOAD "button" on top ( not the tab) , If it ask click "yes"
3- Recovery [email protected] is already included in the pakage.
Download LInk
Dont forget to press the thank button.

u cannot recieve sms
sending is working but cant recieve

recovery is there but somehow stock recovery gets reflashed when you reboot. simply just flash recovery again using spflasher. and reboot to recovery.

sms working both ways. i believe you have invalid imei error? check imei using *#06#

flashable zip comes handy when you are on the move and mess around with your phone.
