Goodbye!

So hopefully after all this messing around with getting a new phone I'll finally manage to get the galaxy s2 on Wednesday. Almost ordered a Galaxy Nexus a few weeks back but just as I was about to they ran out and didn't order more (not very popular here apparently). So after that I decided to go for the s2 which I've always wanted. Ideally I'd go for One S but don't feel like spending 170€ more for that!
Anyway I'd like to thank everyone on this forum for giving me a great experience with the wildfire despite it's weaknesses! Really hope to see a JB daily driver on the wildfire as well since it deserves it and I'm sure the great developers here can make it happen!
Also I'd like to apologize if I offended someone with my comments. I really don't mean to be offensive but for some reason i enjoy arguing and usually end up saying immature things. But I'm only 18 so maybe I am immature
Still going to be keeping the willy alive and probably going back to htc eventually too.
So anyway all the best to you all! Truly a great community.

[Q] unrooting paranoidandroid

I bought my daughter a nexus 7 tablet on craigslist that had paranoidandroid installed on it and im new to this. Please help me with any info. I want to return it to stock for her. Thanks

What is your reason for wanting to 'unroot' it?

I just want to make it stock. Whoever rooted it didn't do a very good job and it's glitchy. Turns off randomly, the side of the screen flashes. I'm hoping turning in back to stock fixes it all

going back to stock is not 'unrooting' it.
its running a CUSTOM ROM, that has nothing to do with root access. separate the 2 ideas from your head immediately.
It is not possible to do a poor job at rooting a device. Its like a light switch, its either rooted or its not. there is no in between.

Hello guys.
I have been on this forum for three days now, I can safely say this is an amazing forum! Three days ago I didnt have the foggiest on how to root a phone. Knew absolutely nothing at all. Its amazing the amount of knowledge I have gathered I three days! I now have a quality and smoove running and looking phone, after bricking it three times! Top notch work the people of xda keep it up!!!

Nice to hear you're learning lots.
Just some friendly advice, please some time soon read the rules so you understand how and where to post and when to create threads, correct posting saves the moderators a lot of hard work and prevents you getting flamed.
Really you should have posted this in the general forum/general thread which is always welcoming apart from some grumpy old gits like me ....joking aside, if everyone plays their part the forum is much easier to use and find information on.

I am probably a 100 times worse a noob than you are. The only thing I have done on my S3 is to get root access via Odin. Is there anyway you could point me to some threads from where I can start?

i love how the htc One(m7) camera showed the purple tint when laid down

I have a strange feeling someone's parent is going to get FIRED.
There can't be that many HTC M8 AT&T phones on the network.

Have been playing with sense 6 for a month with ARHD rom. It's pretty nice and I would say it's better than 5.5. Have fun with it:laugh:

on Sense 6 (ARHD 70) and loving it ... battery life has increased significantly!

Come on guys lets keep the chatter to a minimum. This thread is about the very important observations of lbroe. He has just discovered Sense 6 and as an xda member since 2008 his opinion is carries a lot of weight. I for one am very excited to hear about how how his download went. This is a big day, let's not spoil it.

There was a thread to discuss sense 6 on the M7 and the differences from the version found on the M8, screenshots of the update, and decent discussion without all the "can I update with root" "when is my region getting the update" fluff. That thread got closed within a day as "there is already a thread about updates".............. And this drivel is allowed to exist?
Mods, feel free to clean this comment when you rightly close this thread.
