So I've been doing some poking around and I've come to love Google's full screen album art during music playback but I also now want to have a different wallpaper than my lock screen.
I'm on CM 11 and there is no option within to get what I want done
And while using apps like go ex locker I can get the separate wallpapers but then I lose the album art during playback
Tldr; is there a way to get a different wallpaper on lock and home screen while keeping full screen album art during playback?

And apologies if this is in the wrong category, thought there would be some kind of the theme or app that could achieve what I need

If you haven't already, ask in the Q&A forum.

Is there an app or setting that will allow me to have a different wallpaper on my lock screen and home screen like on the iPad?
I tried an app called MultiPicture Live Wallpaper. It allowed me to have a picture for my lock screen, and a separate picture for my home screens. The problem was that the picture I was using for my home screens would take a second or two to load after I unlocked the device.
Perhaps there's another app that can yield better results, or some tweaks I can do with that particular app.

If you're willing to flash it, AOKP has that functionality

What about it?
He was on about using another app : Multi.....
I am saying doesn't just changing your background internally, (holding the homescreen and choosing gallery) also change the lock screen image?
Or does he want 2 images -
One for homescreen
One for lockscreen
If so my bad
On Scott's stock 4.2 ROM with Apex launcher. But I can run Nova if that is the solution.
It's there a way to have a different wallpaper from the home screen on the lock screen? Or do I need to wait for some custom ROMS to get this. I've never tried two different backgrounds but I happened to come across a background that I really like on the lock screen but not so much on the desktop.
TIA

I was able to do it by using wallpaper wizzidri and Go locker (which meant go launcher)
I hope there is a different solution. I'm not much of a fan of go launcher especially on the tab.

Just installed CyanogenMod 10.1 - Milestone 1 on my Nexus 10, and when I try to set one of the default or cyanogen wallpapers, they're blown way up, like it thinks the screen size is much larger than it really is. I can set downloaded images as wallpapers using wallpaper wizardrii, if I don't want to have to crop them strangely, but none of the default wallpapers work correctly. Hoping someone can help me figure out what the issue is.

I'm running stock but I use simple live wallpaper to set my wallpapers. It allows you go set it without any cropping.

Quickpic is helpful, but I'm just talking about the STOCK wallpapers. For whatever reason, all of the stock wallpapers appear blown up.

cant help with the stock wall issue, but if you want to set up your own custom images as wallpapers without the need for cropping use the app. Simple Image wallpaper free, it is live wallpaper app. does the job pretty good.
I am having issues with multiple picture frame widgets on my homescreens with the stock 4.3 or 4.4 launcher. This problem started when I was on 4.3 and carried over to 4.4. I put picture frames with different pics of my family on my homescreens. Recently I had to set my homescreens up again and when I go to place the widget on my homescreen it disappears. The picture frame is there with no picture. I've tried multiple picture frames from the play store and nothing is working. The stock picture frame does not work either. If I use apex or nova as a launcher the picture frames will work. It is only happening with the stock launcher and it's getting to be annoying. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have ideas or suggestions?

Bump. At this point im going to change my question since I haven't had any body reply. Has anyone had trouble with widgets in general disappearing from homescreems when trying to place them there? That could at least point in the right direction on trying to fix my problem.

Using the widget for picture album on my home screen without any issue. This is the stock launcher from android 4.4
build, KRT16S. The widget remained on the home screen after multiple reboots and shutdowns.
HI, I'm scissors_cut_paper. I have recently taken a disliking to sacrificing my home screen real estate for a dock. I am currently using slimkat, which has the ability to assign a long press function and custom icon to navbar buttons. To that end, I have created some dual use navbar icons, based on stock kitkat, but representing both functions of the navbar key. Now i'm no themer, but paint.net is pretty easy to use. If anyone has good ideas or request I may entertain them, though I would recommend having a play yourself.
To set these keys/icons in slimkat use settings/navigation/navigation bar/buttons.
The current icons I have made are-
Notification pulldown/longpress Quicksettings (Never reach for the top of your screen again)
Back/longpress kill app
Home/longpress application draw
Recents/longpress menu
Filemanager/longpress ?

All credits to slim for implementing the functionality, all i did was make some buttons.
Video of implementing (not everyone will need this, took me a while to figure it out though) http://youtu.be/ist7kSStb9k

want to share your wallpaper pl0x?
No problem

any videos on you using it? Im interested...
YouTube link added in OP. Can do a quick video of how to implement (in slimkat, anyway) if anyone needs? Also did some cleanup, changed file explorer icon to better match stock theme.

Very nice man...your wallpaper is taking many threads by storm now too...
Slimkat also has navring features for those who don't like docks.

Still trying to figure out what I want to do with my ring.I've got shortcuts set up in the QS, combined with the pulldown button in navbar means they appear right above where your finger already is.
