[Q] Losing radio

Hello folks,
I bought a galaxy several weeks ago and I have a serious trouble with it.
I'm loosing the radio/network several times on a day. I got a circle in place of the network symbol. When I have this, I'm loosing all connections, phone, sms, 3G,...
Each time, I need to reboot the phone to have it back.
I had the problem with the version 2.1 and I still have the problem with the version 2.2
I'm using a i5800 (rooted) on the proximus network in Belgium.
Baseband version : I5800XXJG3
Build number : FROYO.XXJPF
If someone has an idea of the problem and how to solve it, it would be great!!!

[HELP] Network problem with my I9505

Hi guys !
I've just bought a samsung galaxy s4 (i9505) (a used one not new) and i flashed Imperium v7 and modem GNF1 and bootloader GNF1 (initially the phone was on stock 4.2.2 and the problem was already there).
My problem is that i don't get the network i rarely see two or three bars but it directly goes to zero (i can see the no network sign) and stays like that until a reboot (as said it drops to no network very fast).
So my question, is it software ? (should i flash the latest samsung stock firmware ?) or is it hardware ? (replace the internal network ship ?)
Or is it a common problem on S4 i9505 and no solution cannot be found ? :crying:
Could it be related to CSC ?
Anyway, i hope anybody can help me because i really like this phone and the rom that i just installed ..
Feel free to ask me about additional informations.
EDIT : I already tried :
1) the modem+bl FNDA => same result
2) force the phone to gsm only => same result (maybe better but even it solves the problem there is no point to not having 3g activated all the time)

It's going to be pretty difficult to narrow this down with what you've posted. You say the problem was "already there" when you got the phone -- how long did you use it on the stock 4.2.2 rom before flashing a new one? Did you see exactly the same behavior before you started mucking with it?

Hi ! Finally an answer So i used it for about 3 days and i really can tell that it is the same behaviour
My fear is that it may be related to hardware .. I am gonna try to flash the latest samsung stock firmware (with its csc and modem) ?
Anyway any idea ??

In general I'd say it's worth getting the phone to "current" stock, or as close to it as possible, and seeing what kind of situation you're in (i.e. if the behavior disappears or changes in any way). If you're seeing it on every configuration, it seems reasonable to suspect that it could be a hardware issue -- especially given that you got the phone used.
Perhaps someone else knows of a more definitive test you can try.

Hey ! Thanks for the idea ! already flashed the latest samsung firmware and same problem .. i stayed in touch with the guy that sold it to me so he took it back to samsung sav where his friend (who work there) told him that this is a famous bug in the i9505 4g serie and that the only solution is a
nvm restore (something like that). Of course he'll do it for free cause we agreed that if a problem come out he'll have to solve it on his own.
Anyway, i hope to get it back tomorrow or monday ! I'll let you know what happened as soon as i get it back !

Were you able to solve the problem? in case u were, how? i have the same issue sometimes i have 3g network, then it goes to gprs then edge, sometimes when im connected to wifi i cant receive calls, but i can do calls, any idea?

[Q] Galaxy S4 I9505 LTE - Unstable Mobile Network

I've been looking around this forum for more informations but was not able to find the exact answer, so here i am.
I'am using Galaxy S4 I9505 LTE ROOT, Honk Kong release:
Kitkat 4.4.2
PDA: I9505ZHUFNB3
CSC: I9505ZZHFNB3
MODEM: I9505ZHUFNB3
IMEI: FINE
My issue is unstable mobile network.
Sometimes working well, then unable to find any network for a day or fast reconnect using the connexion pannel.
I've been looking for threads about modem issues and i've found plenty of version but no one for this model in china (it's not sell in china) , it seems that i have the latest one for HongKong.
Is it possible to install another modem on my phone and do you have any idea which one is better for China mobile network and will also be able to work In the rest of the world.
I also need this version not to break my wifi or my sound cause i heard it might be possible with some realease.

My phone was working like normal for 2 week and the no network found came back yesterday.
It found nothing with mobile network search, same for automatic register on the mobile network ...
Iit's very boring cause i'am actually looking for a job, mean nobody can contact me by phone ...
I've been looking around the internet for days and still dont find any solution.

[Q] Network Issues (KitKat) / Bluetoth Issues (Lollipop)

Hi,
At the moment, i'm on Kitkat GNG1. It seems that the network isnt so good with this version... Mostly on LTE.
1 / If i flash a Lollipop firmware ? Could the network could be better ?
2 / I heard lot of times that there are Bluetooth issues on Lollipop. Is it still the case ? Even on the last firmwares like N9005XXUGBOEA ?

I was on CM11 kitkat and then installed the official poland Lollipop.
I haven't facing any issue till now and battery life is better for me...

I bought my Note 3 in UK. Now I'm using in India and I have been using 3G only here.
So no idea about LTE. 3G network is great here

Network Problem

Hello Guys
My Friend bought SGS6 Edge+ (G928C) a used one
the phone works perfect it has one problem only, the phone doesn't get mobile network
the previous owner said the before he updated it the phone was working great, but after the android 6 update the network didn't work anymore
when i took a look at the software information I noticed something strange
The Baseband version: G928FXXU2BPB7
Build Number: MMB29K.G928CXXU2PBP8
Now i'm not expert on the subject but as far as i now the baseband & build number should be aligned, i mean the bb is G928F and the build number is: G928C
could this mismatch cause the noted problem ?
will a full wipe with the correct corresponding ROM fix the problem ?
