[Q] Dock is connected, Headphones disconnected popup messages - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I acknowledge that I have read 6 related "dock is connected" forum threads but did not find answer to the problem below.
My (never messed with) Note 3's screen goes blank sometimes and then gives "Dock is connected, headphones disconnected" messages when I'm just holding it in my hand and there is no dock nearby and I'm not connecting it anywhere. See attached image.
Wireless Wave asked me to hard reset to factory settings which did not help.
I'm still under 1 year Samsung warranty.
Is there something wrong with the USB dock hardware?

How to automatically wake up 8525 when connected to dock?

Okay, I've isolated an odd problem. I have a mostly stock 8525, and have only required a single softboot in the two months I've had my unit except:
When I drop the 8525 into the charging base conencted to my PC, activesync on the PC runs forever, and if I undock the 8525 I have to softboot to get it back. No calls come in (though the LEDs blink active). I've seen lots of seemingly random lock up threads, but haven't found a thread about this in particular. If I wake up the phone before I dock it, there are no problems at all.
Here's my question: Is there a way to force the unit to wake up when it is connected to a powersupply? My old axim automatically woke up when I put it in the base, so I'm not sure where such a setting would be. I've looked through the Settings but couldn't find that feature as an option.
Anyone know of (maybe) registry hacks to enable wakeup on dock?

Virus?

...Dopod 838 Pro unit. Something is wrong with my unit. Its like the upper right hand part of the screen where the "Ok" or "X" button appears is continuously being pressed. This would happen all of a sudden and wouldnt end. Ive removed/switched/added all sorts of Task managers but its still there. Even Flashed ROMS its still there. From fresh install (No software) its there. if i manage to launch a program, it closes all of a sudden. Pulling out the keyboard for landscape- the windows "Start" button is the one popping up and closing continuously. Ive toggled w/different settings (USB Advance connection On/Off, HSDPA on/Off, Touch Flo enabled/disabled- All no effect). Sometimes when device is stable - certain things trigger this like plugging the usb cable or audio cable. Sometimes when connecting via 3g gprs it also just happens. ...............................help
Sounds like the common touchscreen problem. There are many posts on this, search the forum but I'll bet you'll need to change it (still under guarantee?)

No screen, No LEDs, No Sound but still works?

This is really strange but I put in my Wizard into my hibernation in my desk drawer for a couple of months and got it out again yesterday. When I went to turn it on I got nothing from it.
I then plugged it into my PC with no luck from the LEDs for charging. After hitting most of the buttons I here a USB noise from my computer and the device starts to sync! I then used True Connect screen share and to my surprise the device is fully active. I can't think why it's not working? Has anyone got any ideas?

BT gone dead on M700. Any help?

Recently the bluetooth on my Dopod M700 has gone dead and it has remained since. I have reflashed the ROM several times and whenever trying to connect, there was a long delay and a message stating hardware failure. FYI, the blue LED is not lighted. on Comm Manager, sometimes the BT icon is displaying BT on but cannot connect. Sometimes, when trying to enable BT in Comm manager, it just couldn't on it.
Someone out there, please let me know how to encounter this or any troubleshooting for my problem. I like my phone so much that I do not want to replace it for another.

[Q] Stop screen from turning on too often (connect/disconnect charger, headset, etc)

I'm getting fed up of the screen turning itself on for things it really doesn't need to - for example:
connecting the charger cable
disconnecting the charger cable
getting to 100 % charged status
connect headphone cable
If I do want the screen back on at those times, I could just press the Home button. Any suggestions on how to stop this annoying functionality as I can't find an option for it?
Andre
I would like to know this as well. As would everyone else who charges it at night, I imagine. (Preferably without the need to root.. But I doubt that's possible.)
Would like to add "When answering call over headset" to that. It keeps muting itself in my pocket because of that every. single. bloody. time!
I normally have the "don't turn screen off while charging" mode enabled, so I can see it when it's on my desktop stand, and just manually turn the screen off with the power button once I don't need it. But the bleeping thing turns itself back on when charge is at 100%, and so it then stays on unless I'm there to turn it off. So I've have had to disable that mode.
There's a perfectly good LED to show me the charging status, why do I need the whole screen to wake too?
Andre
Any ROMs or kernels out there that anyone could suggest which support disabling the annoying screen-wakes on 100% charge, connect-to-charger, disconnect-from-charger, headset insert, etc.?
Andre
For anyone else looking for the same answer, try Wanam's Xposed module (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/app-wanam-xposed-customize-stock-t2383484) which allows you to disable a number of the more pointless screen-wakes (including 100% charge, and unplugging charger). Hopefully he can fix the remaining ones at some point too.
Requires root of course.
