Hello, I have a pair of bluetooth speakers that I've paired with my s4 and it plays music fine. Now, i also have a headset (turtle beach px4) that is also bluetooth, however when i pair it with my s4, it says under "profile" ; "connected to phone audio" and will not play music. How can i change the profile so that my headset will play music?

Can I redirect the Audio player audio stream to a handsfree device? I have a blueant interphone which works great as a normal handsfree device, but as its not 'wireless audio' it means that it wont treat it as a normal headset type device.
If I press the connect button whilst playing MP3's, I hear the music in the headset for about a second before the voice dialler kicks in... so I know it can do it.. its just a matter of getting it to redirect the audio stream somehow on a permanent basis.
Does anyone know of a plugin or other hack that I could possibly use/run to turn a Handsfree device in a Audio device ?
I have paired my Motorola Stereo Bluetooth headset to my HTC Surround. Music plays fine but when I play a video the sound comes from the phones speakers. I have not found a way to fix this and get video sound to come through my Bluetooth headset.
One note is that when I plug in a wired headset, both video and music play through the wired headset. This issue only seems to be with Bluetooth Stereo.
Anyone else seen this or have a fix?
I've had the same issue with my bluetooth headset.
Hey guys, thanks in advance. I've done some searching and haven't been able to find anything that addresses a small oversight.
So I have an A2DP audio receiver connected to the auxiliary input in my car. It works great for music, Pandora, and what not, but none of the mono-channel phone audio gets played through my car speakers. I realize it's due to the different profiles, that A2DP was designed for music and the hands-free profiles were designed for phone calls. However, I've been able to find Music --> Mono software that allows me to play music through mono-channel non-A2DP headsets.
Is there anything out there that can help me divert the mono phone audio stream through to A2DP?
Thanks.

I tried connecting my X8 with a bluetooth handsfree
But although it shows connected it doesn't play music in it
I tried the handsfree with a Nokia handset and i could hear the music playing fine.
Any Solutions?

Whats the model of your bluetooth hanset? does it supports AD2P feature?
(srry if my english isn't right..)
When I start my car the bluetooth connects to the stereo for phone audio but it won't remember my setting to connect to media audio. I have to manually go into the settings every time and check the media audio button. I am using a rooted stock rom and have an i9500 and I also had the problem before rooting. I know it isn't my stereo because my previous phone (Galaxy Nexus) worked just fine. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be done to fix this other than Samsung putting out a fix for it?
