I'm having a very strange problem today. I reflashed back to my previous rom and now can't access my Google Account which has always worked previously. I can sign in to gmail and receive emails, but when run the Setup and I click on Google Account - nothing happens. Also it normally says "Tap to setup" and now it's showing google_login .
I also went to Settings>Accounts & Sync and tried to add an account, but Google is not one of the options available. If I try to access the Market thinking I could sign in there, again nothing happens - press market icon and it just returns to the app drawer. I have seen some posts and articles from endgadget where there were comments about problems being experienced with the market, but has anyone experienced this as haven't seen any similar posts?

check to make sure you have accountsyncmanager.apk in your system/apps folder. I repacked my own system.img and took out some apps I didn't need or wanted and accidently had taken that one out and experienced similar behavior.

Lineage 16 without Samsung Account
Also having this same problem.
I have the nightly version 4.24.19 of lineage 16 and after checking settings I seem to not have a way to sign into Samsung account in settings either.. The reason I want to do this is so that i may use (Samsung Notes v2.1.00.3)which I do have installed. Upon opening this app it just force closes giving error which states "Samsung Notes keeps stopping"
This is normally found using directy below:
Settings>>Accounts>> XXX
Please see picture below. The black theme is my Gs5 and the other is a screenshot of where it is suppose to be. Please community, let me know if there is a fix.
Current Device:
Tmobile Galaxy S5
G900T
Lineage 16 OS 20190406-nightly-klte-sign
TWRP 3.2.3
Flashed with Odin.

And what option now
Hi Guys!!
After a factory reset I was able to log in to gmail successfully but couldn't sync gmail contacts. Half of my contacts have disappeared. No error or command popups the device still runs smoothly.
Is there a way to get my contacts back?
Galaxy Note 3 N900 Exynos.
ROM - Dr. Ketan_L23
Thanks.
Are you sure the contacts which are missing are Google contacts?
This is why I always make a manual backup by exporting the contacts to a .vfc file and copy it to my pc, too.... (contacts > optionkey > import/export).
Are the contacts still listed on www.contacts.google.com?

Yes missing contacts are from Google Contacts.

Fixed!!
Flashed Dr. Ketan's L23 with a clean wipe. All the contacts are back but the Full Screen caller image is blurred back of the small thumb of the original pic.
Does anybody know why is this happening? I have attached a screenshot too.
Thanks

Has anyone come up with a work around to make android pay work? It was working fine by disabling su then the application. But something has changed that doesn't work anymore. I even tinkered with xposed and rootcloak but that isn't working either. I know it has nothing to do with the rom version because I've reverted to the stock image of this build a couple times and pay works. If anyone has any advise that doesn't mean staying unrooted it would be much appreciated

I read an article recently, and if I find it I will post it, but it said that android pay can detect all root methods now and will disable itself.

Found it. http://www.howtogeek.com/241012/saf...y-and-other-apps-dont-work-on-rooted-devices/
Thanks for the info but just saying that's bogus. I can see if your a businessman and got a corporate account. But us regular users that enjoy tinkering with our devices they should allow us to sign a waiver to make it work.
