What i did was in this order:
0. wiped everything on my i9506 with TWRP (not needed) x3 factory reset is enough
1. DeHAWK AutoRoot. for GT-I9506 4.4.2 - XXUCNG3. you can find the link in his post with ODIN 3.07 inc. in the link. ( DeHAWK http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2597058 )
2. TWRP 2.8.0.0 touch recovery with ODIN 3.09 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...recovery-twrp-2-8-0-0-touch-recovery-t2887037 )
3. download all needed zips to SDCARD(ROM, kernel and Gapps and PATCH for I9506) ROM Kernel and PATCH can be found on arter97 website ( his post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2691639 ) I use Gapps from ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942 ) NANO MODULAR PACKAGE
4. the use TWRP and install ( add zip from card in this order ROM, KERNEL, GAPPS, AND PATCH ) and reboot
My only problem is BT keeps POP with warnings now and then and 4 to 5 times on reboot
Cashano
@Cashano, so you are on dehawks pre-rooted rom?
Arter97 patch & kernel is for arter97's roms, so not surprised at your combination is not working.
Those are intended to use with arter97 roms, good luck at it's working so far on your case.
You should try that dehawk without arter97 stuff, or try arter97's roms with it.
I habe LiquidSmooth running with 3.1 Kernel and geht sometimes UI Fc's.. tried factory wipe and flashed everything again, but no luck. Maybe a Rom Issue? Will try to change to Temasek Rom with the 3.2 Kernel..

kernel use
@arter97 I have made a port of Paranoid android 4.4.4 that uses your kernel and I want to know if it's okay if I release it with a link to your thread for kernel download?
Suggestion doubletap2wake & swipe2wake to the kernel
Hey Arter97, I'm using Temasek rom with your arter97 kernel for my Galaxy S4 LTE-A. It works perfectly and it's awesome.
Just my suggestion, it would be best if it is possible to add doubletap2wake & swipe2wake into your kernel.
It's alright, if it is not possible.
Thanks! Keep up the great work! =)
Hello,
Your work for this phone is amazing. Temasek + your kernel are the perfect team. Only one issue: can't be flashoolic anymore... Don't leave us, please, TW is so boring. Thanks again
Rom Installation
Hello Respected Developer,
I have few questions about installation on my shv-e330s.
2. Put ROM, kernel and Gapps on you SD card
I want to to install CM 11 which one i download so i don't have any restart/reboot issues.
4. Flash ROM, kernel and Gapps in order
Where to get kernal for CM?
Kernel is not included! Make sure to download and install kernel specifically made for CyanogenMod.
Where i can get this one?
5. If you're an i9506 user, flash the fix file from here
Do i need to do this i have shv-e330s.

Boot Loop
HI All,
My phone is e330k 4.4.2 with CWM, wipe data, wipe cache, wipe davik, install zip (cm, kernel), restart and got boot loop at cm12 logo.
Anyone has the same problem?

Hey guys,
How has your performance been on these roms? I've been running the latest Temasek-build there and it does seem bit lower than expected. Compared to the latest stock OTA NJ-build, the Temasek v162 actually decreases my AnTuTu points from 42K to 39K. Also battery life dropped by approx 25% (previously I had screen on times of 4+h, now 3h). I'm still following how it turns out in the long run but have you had better or worse battery and overall performance with these roms compared to stock?
Also is arter97 recovery and kernel and patch all mandatory with all of these AOSP roms provided here?
Finally would like to point huge thank you to arter97 - without you we would have barely any rom options for our phone. Hopefully you are able and willing to keep it up and us updated from time to time. Thank you!
P.S. Why is this force to Q/A section in use. Even though I mainly read the forums doesn't mean I'm noob enough not to be able to post serious comments or anything else than questions. Just wondering, lol.

Performance: I have slightly better score on antutu on CM than TW.
Check what extra features you use.
AnTuTu scores are not prefect measurements for Rom speed& functionality.
Battery consumption is less on CM, on road using only 3G and Bluetooth on car for watching movies etc i have always nearly 4h SOT, at home on WiFi always over 6h SOT, combined use gives around 5h SOT.
Kernel + patch = mandatory
Recovery with 4.4 bootloader suggested, and nearly mandatory if going to LP.

Thanks for the quick and informative reply!
Your stats sound pretty good to me and something I definitely want to achieve. And as you said too, performance is not the problem here anyways probably, but the battery is pretty important. I'm running no background apps, playing few online games and running with 3g most of the SOT, though the connection is sometimes pretty bad which may cause extra battery load.
Anyways I would gladly hear which CM version you're successfully using?
The 'official' CM builds for i9506 seem to have some reboot issues according to the comments, and that sure is something I'd like to avoid (I got enough of that on my more flashoholic days ). And as I just want a pure CM experience I got no need for the custom versions like Temaseks (which is great otherwise and I used it on my S3) for now atleast.
So please, if you don't mind, I would gladly hear more about your CM version and setup you used to get those values.
Thank you.
@enkku, I'm on Temasek CM11 v162 (by arter97) now, same stats when was on "stock"CM by arter97.
Biggest changes are just TRDS ON and ThyrusHOLO KITKAT black/dark theme installed, all automatic synchronizing disabled.
Small tweaking on brightness values, getting brightness lower.
Basically I have 24/7 WiFi on, automatic open WiFi polling is off. Too lazy to switch it off coz it's not draining my battery, thanks to arter97's brilliant work on kernel. So my WiFi connects only to my home WiFi, nowhere else even it's activated all the time.
Good morning,
Same config here with gapps frozen and apps always killed after use. Brightness 30%, 9 h LTE and wifi/day : 6-7 h SOT.
Hi, is it possible to make the 4k camera from note4 work with aosb 1.3.7? thank you so much!:good:
@ode_ good points you made there, thanks for your reply.
I just did a full day run and my battery barely lasted the whole day: I only got 2h 40min screen on time? What could possibly be wrong? I disables all syncs, no wlan or location active at any point, brightness at lowest and 3g on only when I need it. Still I get battery life that's only a third of you guys? I don't run any background apps, only few messenger apps, most of them hibernated with greenify.
I added screenshots of my battery life and BBS stats as attachment. As you can see, my idle/deep sleep battery consumption is normal, but whenever I start using my phone the battery drops really fast. When using my phone I mostly chat, play some online games really briefly (3-20min at once) or just browse the web.
Would gladly hear some ideas to make me battery life better/normal.
Edit: Android system seems to have used a little battery this time, but it still only shows 30min cpu time amd 3min keep awake so can't be solely it causing the extra drain.
Thank you.
@enkku, go and check:
Settings-performance-profile balanced
Enabled per app profiles
Settings-performance-processor governor arteractive
No multicore powersaving
Settings-performance-io scheduler fiops
And even those shows currently right values change one time to some other and go back using screen left upper corner arrow.
I'm betting at you have profile performance now running.
Plus you run your software's on white theme, that eats battery really fast on Amoled screen. Invest on thyrusholo dark and switch TRDS on.
Edit: don't forget to switch on adaptive backlight.
@ode_ thanks again, great suggestions!
Anyways I think most of those are the default values, and I haven't touched them, but I still re-activated them all as you suggested (and no, didn't have any performance settings activated, I thought so too at the beginnkng coz the battery drain was so fast while using the phone). Also turned on adaptive backlight, got rid of my lollipop (white) theme and disabled dynamic status bar. Also hibernated fb messenger and disables my single zooper widget. But even after all the things you suggested and I listed here, there seems to be absolutely no difference. I'm amazed how can I have this poor battery life with absolutely nothing running in background: even compared to stock Samsung TW with billion bloatware like step counter running all the time, I have a bit worse battery life I think.
What could I do more to try solve this issue? Try looking into battery drain with some other software? Installing another rom? Going back to stock? Going back to shop to whine that my battery's bad? Lol, just kidding, but seriously, this phone is literally one and half week old now and yet I have so poor battery times? What am I doing wrong?
Again, todays data as attachments. Also counted that while playing for example, I lose 1% of battery every 1min 30sec. While browsing, this number is a bit better, more like 2min-2.5min per %.
Thanks guys, you're really providing me great help and support here!
@enkku, wipe cache and Dalvik cache, copy your pictures out from phone and back of you need them, just to make sure at there is no broken files and some looping on media scan/file system.
Cache wiping helps on some cases, I had once similar type battery drain and it ended just by wiping caches.

I didn't test bluetooth hand's free, but it's certainly still broken.

Testing radio issues
Hi to all,
I just tested radio issues on my phone. I was researching, why radio is not working.
Here are results, maybe it will help. Anyway, I have my GT-s7710 for testing and I can do some tests or catch some debug informations if needed.
It seems that problem why radio is not working is located in modem-supervisor process. In original firmware, this process is responsible for uploading firmware into dbx500 platform chip. But in CM, there is no such process.
I am not expert, but it seems to.
I tried to use old modem-supervisor process to make everything working.
Services line from original fw:
Code:
service modem-supervisor /system/bin/modem-supervisor -r -f /dev/dbx500_mloader_fw -i /sys/devices/platform/ab8500-i2c.0/chip_id -c monitor -t 0
but it needs to be changed because /sys/devices/platform/ab8500-i2c.0/chip_id changed to /sys/devices/platform/ab8505-i2c.0/chip_id
Problem is that firmware event for loading firmware is never generated and firmware is not uploaded.
I have some dumps and traces if you need them. Thank you for your work!

an idea
The 7580's phone hardware is almost identical to the 7710. The processor in the 7580-higher heights, but the hardware buttons and then there are all of the functions, but it has the 4.2.2 firmware, which allow moving to the SD card. Somehow it should possess to operate from 7710.
I'm Hungarian, sorry if the translation is wrong, happened with google.

After clean 1st boot after the installation the buttons are working perfectly, but after reboot (2nd boot) they are not working properly. Only long presses are working (google search by long press of menu button, kill aplication by long press of back button, last apps by long press of home button).
So? There is no such responde on how to fix that..!

XCover 2: BT hands free - Problem fixed yet?
Hey developers,
I was wandering if the BT problem has been fixed for Cyanogenmod Version 10.2 for XCover 2.
BT hands free. Connection/pairing works, but the audio path is broken.
Thanks a lot!
baseband wipe
I can't get Cyanogenmod 10.2 working. Everytime installation wipes my baseband.
When I install the Stock ROM SIM works again - but after flashing CM again also wipes baseband again.
My Installation-Tools:
Odin v3.07
CMW: 20140112_cwm-6.0.4.6_skomer_fixed.tar.md5
CM: 20140204_cm_10.2_skomer-ota-eng.flx.zip
Is there any chance to install the baseband (I think it's inside the modem.bin)?
No network available in Polish Play
I'm installing CM for my father in law on Samsung X Cover 2 and I'm facing problem with no available network.
I've tried CM 11 and CM 10.2 - both are running fast but both doesn't recognize any network operator.
CM11 has additional problem with hanging during shutdown.
I've found that Polish network Play has common problems with radio: like here
https://code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod4milestone/issues/detail?id=510.
But even I'm putting T-Mobile sim card then still phone doesn't recognize (phone is coming from Play but it is unlocked).
When I restored Play stock ROM then it works.
Could anybody help in this?
I cannot point link to logcat because new user limitation - pastebin URL part is rWttd9PH

Forget CM en try Vanir or MIUI these are more up2date. Also CM11 is alpa with camera bug:
First look at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/t/xcover-2
Vanir
Second, I use Vanir 4.4.4 daily. It has some bugs, but not some bugs that makes it unstable. Known issues:
Start/Stop navbar after every restart
Use this solution to fix connection errors after a fresh Flash: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60411469&postcount=612
Other small bugs:
2G/3G quick setting and normal settings dont work properly because of absence of LTE
Navigation Ring and immersive mode causes dead touch screen space
DSP manager doesn't work
After using Vanir 4.4.4 I never want to go back! It's that much faster, more free RAM en better battery performance. Because of the better RAM performance, you must kill apps more often else it will drain the battery quicker :silly:.
Best way to Flash with 4.4.4 is to first flash Clockworkmod through ODIN, then do the usual Full Wipe --> Wipe Cache --> Flash Rom --> Flash GAPPS. Here is a video of someone doing these things. P.S. in this video the process is speeded up also reboot can freeze the system (just remove battery after a couple of minutes)
Files
Vanir: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7agwkTbiz0pNHZMQlpudkR4NUU/view
GAPPS: https://mega.co.nz/#!kokjzJwT!eqmMam5r5N2kWvtmSMy4QnaHnxvoqhDtr_joSDU5anI
MIUI
Another option is MIUI (used on the the popular Chinese Xiaomo phones). Instead of the Vanir build, this build is still being maintained. But because it's based on Vanir it has most likely has the same bugs. Never tried it because I prefer stock Android.
2nd, the connection error fix for vanir could also work for CM (vanir uses stuff from CM).

My cameras work.
Mobile data not starting after Wifi shut down.
Mobile data does not re-start after WI-Fi is closed.

Camera works
LE: Mobile data does not work at all anymore...for some reason.
Tried both 4.1 and 4.2 modems.

Seems good for me on french, using 19/12, battery pretty not bad too...

cm-12-20141221-UNOFFICIAL-find5 and modem42 on Oppo Find 5 16GB, repartitioned for 4GB /userdata, starting from a debricked state.
A few odd things I noticed:
When the phone is plugged in to USB and turned off, the backlight remains on. Charging is taking a very long time. Not sure, but at times, it seems like when the phone is On, the battery is draining even while plugged into USB. I just now turned on the phone battery at 77%. Did a few tasks, battery is now at 76%. it is plugged in and charging.
While the phone is Off and plugged into USB, a momentary push on the Power button and there is a really small text message for battery status. No battery icon at all.
Settings ... About phone ... Baseband version is Unknown. Why? Should it say Q_V1_P14 (like my CM11 phone) and how do I get that fixed?
There is no SIM card in the phone, have just been getting it configured first. Settings ... About phone ... Status ... IMEI is Unknown. Is that normal when a SIM is not installed?
I think I may put latest ColorOS and then CM11 on this phone. This CM12 seems a bit off.
Hi, I'll probably try this ROM tomorrow, I'm a long time CM user (since CM7 on SGS I).
My only concern is the partition table of my Find 5 16GB version: system partition is just too small!
Anyone here tried to increase the partition on the 16GB version? Hope is't not that tricky...
Battery life comparison, identical phones, one running last CM11 stable, one running CM12 latest:
Time CM12 CM11
7:32am 72 41
8:07am 67 41
8:36am 65 40
9:11am 60 40
Both phones are turned on, but not used, just sitting there with the screen off.
The CM12 phone used 12% battery (72% to 60%) in less than 2 hours. The CM11 phone used 1% battery over the same time period.
Easy choice for me: stick to CM11 for now.

i've used Gapps minimal X+ edition with this rom and had no issues:

Right now I am using a different lollipop rom (Liquidsmooth Unofficial) which just arrived:
http://www.oppoforums.com/threads/rom-lollipop-liquidsmooth-unofficial-find-5.23191/
The maker of this rom suggests using slimrom gapps (I chose the mini version):
http://slimroms.net/index.php/downloads/dlsearch/viewcategory/1251-addons/downloads
@harryharryharry How does Liquidsmooth compare to this one? Whats your overall impression? Battery? Anything not working that is here?
(my battery life is pretty bad right now on cm12)
Thanks!
Liquidsmooth has much more tweaks and features than cm12. It also has wifi hotspot working (build from 3jan2015). cant say too much about battery drain, sometimes its really good, other times its not so good, i cant put my finger on whats causing the drain. Hangouts crashes on start.
I'm using gapps minimal x-plus edition now on liquidsmooth and it works too.
Data plan issue (solved i think)
Hi there you all,
i am using the cm12 on my beloved find5 three days already.
At first i noticed that my data plan was having some issues whenever i turned off my wifi connection.
When i rebooted everything was fine again.
Today i rebooted and ,as you may guess,no data plan was available through my mobile operator.
I think i solved the problem (waiting for the bugfix) and can use my cm12 flawlessly by simply doing this.
Whenever i turn off connection through wifi i go to my APN settings (on data plan settigns) and just SAVE the settings once again.
For the moment my issue is solved, now i have plenty of time waiting for the bugfix.
Hope it helps.

Can you please inform me
1. possible to flash this rom on my xt1032/2013 converted to gpe 5.1(now i am runing on SlimSaber 08/08/15)? flashing and gapps infos?
2. OTG function works as i am very intersting about this like you?
3. on every rom you are runing now on your moto g independed of type, can you sent the exported file using the mount command in adb shell, a file like mine attached, just to see in what fs your rom is made? (As it so easy none help me about this still wondering why).
NOTE 1 : in twrp pict. seems the problem i met trying to flash cm based roms like: blisspop/liquid smooth/aosp/resurrection remix and many others, EXCEPT SlimSaber and Mokee
Hopping for an answer,Have a nice day
EDIT 1 :ALL OK, FLASHED OK ON MY DEVICE, but one bug i found atm : when powered off during charge the phone rebooted against battery showing, minimal gapps used. The rom is very fast/smooth/OTG OK, may be the r38 optimus must be flashed(my next step)/the dt2w & Sweep2Wake not founded yet but notice the ukm not flashed yet, any suggestion on these?is going to work or not?
EDIT: 2 the dt2w ok after ukm flashed and synapse loaded and some adjustments made(i use interactive gov atm and cores in aggresive mode), Sweep2Wake in navbar not works on any of 2 options. One more bug? when bt headset connected after some time ,i dont remember exactly trying to turn screen on by power button the screen was freezed and needs to reboot the phone to work ok (this happen before UKM zip flashed and synapse app loaded).
NOTE 2 : the other asks remaining(about the file) ,the tread must be continoued and more work needed IMHO.
Congts very good work. go ahead,TNX!!! A LOT @sfoot13

Hi @granazis!
I'm not the dev of this rom, here is the official thread bro. http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/5-1-1r8-tipsyos-falcon-unified-t3164343 there the dev will help you
Actually I'm not using this rom bro
About the kernel, I use Niropa's kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/kernel-niropa-1-t3161067 is the best for me (so far)
You can try too Phoenix kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/kernel-phoenix-v1-t3176225 is a very good kernel too, and if you use dt2w features, you'll like it!
I attached the file that you need
Have a nice day bro, God bless you

Hi, at first TNX!! for your quick responce exclusively for THE FILE NEEDED (at last i have it) and all your infos,i know that you ar'not the dev. As you read on my 1st post on this thread the most of problems solved atm and dt2w works, continuing to be in testing mode, because of my experience this rom worth the pain, so i would like to remain as a maintainer but it depends on you. The reason for file asked is to know in what fs your rom runing just to try to revert the needed files to be flashed on my device on wich all fs are in EXT4 format as it's a Gpe edition. My last question is: the file you send me refered on rom you are runing? or remind me wich one you are runing now.
Sorry for any typos or wrong syntax.
Once more THX! BW
My best wishes
@granazis I was using ResurrectionRemix when I took the info, today I'm using MinimalOS, lately I'm flashing more roms than before xD.
RR is based on CM, and I think that Minimal OS is based on Slim (I'm not 100% sure).
Time ago I converted my data (internal storage) to f2fs (using TWRP), if you that someday, be careful, do a backup of your internal storage because it will erase all your data, and no one wants that.
And for the syntax, don't worry bro., I'm learning english, my native language is spanish, so I make mistakes writing too.

TNX! BW for your reply i was sure for that as i knew enough about your behaviour because of our communication. The minimal os rom is a mix of cm based and slim rom i think, can look my posts: #106 #107 #113 ##123 on the thread of this rom, the last one refered on file also asked and TOOK by YOU only!!!, the reason? i would like to flash this rom. As for fs conversion i met a serious problem trying to revert on F2 and by a wrong of me i lost thet OS , so started from scratch my phone is still alive this mean the dangers are WELL known ( the internal files was backuped on my pc)
Thanking for so kindly reply take a look what i wrote for you on original thread you suggest me for Tipsy rom.
BTW:The rom is excellent all problems solved, batt responce, ram managment,dt2w, swipe2w(its better than dt2w because of no pocket problem), gps, otg, adb....... all works good. If you flash the ninimal os and time having i would like to have the related file (optional). Yesterday night i was thinking to ask by PM about your Nationality.
My best wishes
EDIT: Sorry i just see that you already send the minimal os file!!!!

Hi! good afternoon
I saw your post on the original thread, you said "her" xD, hahaha I'm not a girl bro. I'm not the person on the photo, is just a pic that I found on the web and drawed it (sorry for the confusion) and I'm from Chile (South-America).
So, I learned today (thanks to you) that is not a good idea convert my phone to GPE edition is very tedious backup the whole SD, flash the firmware, and do the same again if you want to bring back the original version, is a process that I hate (flash original firmware).

SORRY sir!, usually the members/users put their own photo or country flag ,so i was confused. I revert my phone to Gpe: 1. because of my occupation(Electronic engineer) i like to to be in strange situations trying to find solutions just to be experienced that i had no on this field.
2. Because Google give the updates much earlier on Gpe devices and the support goes more far off than Moto, e.g my LG Nexus 4 released on 2012(the best phone i never had) and now its runing on stock 5.1 and a new update is up now as i read, and notice that the stock Gpe 5.1 is the best stock rom that i never had(very fast, reliable,no bugs atall, very good batt and ram managment but with less features than custom roms independed of difficulties we have on flashing). Sometime i will return back to stock Gpe rom to take the updates as i am against custom roms but try on these just for experience
EDIT: you are not wondering whats the meaning of BW abr.(and its really a nice photo so not do such wrongs, just a joke my friend) its mine and the meaning is Beautiful Woman, ha ha ha iam laughing with myself, how stupid i am???
Sorry for bla bla bla
So glad to know you. Greetings to Chile from Greece.

Use the ZIP at your own risk.
This is a flashable ZIP containing all the latest firmware and radio components from official OnePlus OTA updates. Notably it contains the baseband. This is meant for those using custom ROMs, but still wishing to update the baseband and all the other extra partitions (custom ROMs only cover /system and /boot).
NOTE: This is no magic tool which fixes or improves anything, it simply updates the baseband and other extra stuff to the latest version from official OxygenOS.
It is tested with the latest official TWRP and Sultaxda unofficial CM13.0, but it should work fine with any ROM.
Please report any issue you may have and whether it works for you or not (meaning you were able to flash it and it did not break anything).

Thanks a lot, this will be very useful. Just the other day i had an issue with the touchscreen (ghost touching when writing fast in swiftkey) that i thought was hardware and turned out to be software because i flashed back to oxygen before flashing the custom rom again and everything worked good again. Probably something got messed up because of flashing several custom roms and flashing oxygen probably fixed it because it flashed back everything like it was supposed to be
SO basically this can be flashed on any ROM and is an enhancement to the baseband right ? Should be helpful for me as i have never gone back to Stock since OOS 2.1.3 lol

Did it work? Earlier i extracted modem from 2.2.1-x and flashed but nothing was changed. None of the ROMs are wiping modem partition, so if someone has ever upgraded to 2.2.1-x,he shouldn't need it. We have yellow line for network connectivity in almost all MM Roms and I thought it might be something related to marshmallow. If it works, that would be awesome. If you have any explanation for this, please share.

More than an enhancement it's an update of baseband and other firmware stuff (all official, nothing custom made by me), useful in cases like yours. It should work with any ROM indeed.
..Ok someone hast to be the first to ask stupid questions =)
What's the use of this .zip? What benefits do I get out of it?
Concerning radio, on Oos I noticed in Battery detail I always got a solid green bar at signal strength. On sultan's cm13 it varies, but mostly yellow or worse signal.
I thought this also means worse battery life, battery drain. I asked this in the corresponding thread and someone answered that it's just a cosmetic thing, radio isn't changed with custom rom or essentially the same so there won't be additiional battery drain.

dont remember if it was me that said it was cosmetic (i said it, but i think it was on cm13 official thread, not on Sultan's) and it really is. I get like 1% battery drain on cm13 which would be impossible if my cell reception was equal to having those orange lines when the phone is deep sleeping. And you can easily check that by turning the screen on after a period of inactivity, just look at the cell icon on the statusbar right after turning the screen on, it will be at full signal (in my case, because in my house i have full signal) even though it shows orange lines on battery stats

Ok.. I generally get more battery drain overnight. I read in many posts normal drain would be around 5%.
What bothers me is that the battery drain is kind of unpredictable for me..I don't know.. I'm always careful with apps and functions that drain battery. I also use greenify.
Flashed nano gapps. In Profiles tab I disabled sync for most stuff.
Now mm has this new doze mode...Is it equal to deep sleep? Also tasker app told me it would be a bad idea to enable doze for tasker, so I disabled it. Does this mean my phone can never get into doze, deep sleep just because of one app that's not optimized?
Also under Apps i can't find a way to get all currently active apps in mm.

I think most people here are very obsessed with battery life and use stuff that has to be very well configured, otherwise it may cause extra drain (im looking at amplify for example). I dont use any battery saving apps and have excellent standby time. But i think its mostly because i have very good cell reception. Cell reception has a major impact on this phone. And at night i turn off wifi and data (i see no use in them being on, i just turn them on when i wake up). Just today, on 8 hours of sleep i lost 1%. But i have seen people with bad cell reception have really bad battery life

You can use Better Battery Stats to see whats draining your battery and to see if your phone goes into deep sleep, when it goes and so on.
Well, I flashed this firmware/baseband, will report if I see any changes. :cyclops:

I let tasker handle these things. I scanned "cell coordinates" while at home and told tasker only to switch wifi on if these match.
So if I'm not at home wifi is deactivated. Signal scanning is going on anyways so there's no additional drain like it would be if I relied on gprs location.
Data is always off, tasker only activates it if I start certain apps like browser and gets disables it if I close the app.
One thing that's always on is bluetooth...maybe I should make a routine where it gets deactivated overnight and activated again in morning.

I tried that and got strange behaviour. App tells me it has to be installed as privileged app but the auto install routine failed. Somehow it seemed to work anyway as I was able to enter the app and got some stats.
Now ofter May 17th update I only get to auto routine install screen. It also says I can copy the .apk in /system/priv-apps...Looked in there and better battery stats apk is already in there.
About this thread
Ok, I updated the first post to try and clarify a bit what this flashable package is for, since I think there is/was some confusion.
To quickly answer doubts like "what do I gain?": if you flash it, it updates your baseband and some other firmware stuff to be on par with the latest OxygenOS version. You may want to do this for many reasons, but it will not magically fix any data issue on MM ROMs (still you can try if you feel it may help).
So, files on this thread are from last version 2.2.1-X.
Maybe it's not the right place to ask but once radio is updated, is it permanent ? If i flash full 2.2.1 rom from here : http://downloads.oneplus.net/devices/oneplus-x/ will the radio change or it allways keep the lastest ?
Thanks
Will this fix the CM13 T-mobile cellular data bug? (On CM13 roms, when leaving Wi-Fi, cellular data does not connect. Instead it shows "LTE!" and cannot be fixed unless I manually turn off and on cellular data or airplane mode, or restart the phone.) Additionally, does this change any settings related to bluetooth? I was having poor bluetooth connectivity on CM13. Switched back to Oxygen OS and everything works perfectly. Would like to go back to CM13 though for MM features. If anyone has any info please report back. Thanks!
Thanks for this, just what I was looking for...
But what should the baseband version be after flashing this, as I'm pretty sure mine didn't change?
(can't remember what version of OOS I was on before moving to custom roms as it was a while ago now)
Will always keep the latest from the last oso you have installed just before you current custom rom.

If you flash stock ROM it will overwrite the radio since it contains everything. This is actually based on the official OOS zip.

This is not a fix for any bug and I saw no clear report of improvements after updating with this ZIP or flashing stock prior to custom ROM, but you can try, it may help. Honestly I am not sure if any of these firmware pieces contains anything for bluetooh, but again you can flash it if in doubt.

You can use Better Battery Stats to see whats draining your battery and to see if your phone goes into deep slee[emoji1] p, when it goes and so on.
Well, I flashed this firmware/base band, will report if I see any changes. :cyclops:
