Isn't there a way to set Omniswitch as default Recents?
Also, the Last app switcher button made systemui crash once and the phone became unresponsive (had to turn it off holding the power button). Otherwise, very good rom!

So, i don't want to taint the main thread with my troubles.
D802 user here, austrian phone.
I'm trying to flash DU coming from PA and I do the following:
1 wipe all except for internal storage
2 flash 10a modem
3 Flash du 8.1
4 Flash gapps (optional)
5 Reboot to system.
Every time I try I get constant fc on systemui no matter what.
Any hints?

AFAIK that's correct. This rom needs a jb modem.

I have D802 16GB coming with stock 4.4.2 D80220d-Eur-XX, b/b M8974A-AAAANAZM-1.0.190084
1. Can I do NOT wipe internal storage and just copy DU firmware and GApps there after factory reset?
2. Do I really need to flash older JB baseband?
3. In a case- Yes, shall I do it after I install DU f/w, before reboot, after? (which custom recovery to use?)

I flashed the latest ROM, flashed LGD802_10B_EUR_RADIO.zip. Rotation Works but can't change the sound volume. Any fix for this?
Btw, also tried LGD802_10A-232_RADIO.zip, still not able to change the Volume. I'm from Portugal, my phone is the D802.
Please help
EDIT : Volume changer just doesn't work with Google Play, Apollo. Works fine with youtube

I'm using the last build, came from Vanir, did a full wipe. I cannot apply any wallpaper to the lock screen, neither from my gallery, nor from the theme manager. It's always a black screen. Any way to fix it?

I tried from Dirty Tweaks too. That's why I'm here asking as my last resource. I know how high are the probabilities to receive an stupid answer from a jerk.

Your right I'm a jerk because you can't search in dirty tweaks. It works just fine either look yourself, submit a bug report to jira or gtfo

The downloads site has 8.1 listed, is it stable?
I am relatively new to XDA but nonetheless have looked for an answer quite a bit before posting here. The Dirty Unicorns website has an 8.1 build that was released on 10/20/2014, I was wondering if that's a stable version.

The above is still open for an answer nonetheless, I went ahead and installed 8.1 (Clean Flash) it is super stable, no issues, anywhere except two. Before I talk about the issues: I checked nearly every setting changed them but still no crashes, no problems.
The two issues:
1) The battery life has turned into being unbearably bad. When the phone is in sleep, it is great but once I start using at around 50% brightness with normal applications like Dolphin browser, Facebook and all, I can actually see the battery drop every few minutes.
2) The music volume is somehow broken. Anything I play, from the music player, or YouTube, the sound is high for the first few seconds and then becomes extremely low. I tried other music players also but still,no luck. I tried changing every setting related to "Volume" and "Buttons" but no fix at all!
Any suggestions for these two? I tried so many Roms but now nearly all my Android devices use Dirty Unicorns. I just do not want to uninstall this ROM, so please help

I did not flash a new "Radio" or anything, I just clean flashed DU 8.1, then the volume did not work. I went to DSP Manager and enabled the equalizer (acoustic, but I'm sure anything will work) and the volume control started working.

No bluetooth sound on S4, even back to stock ROM
Hello. S4 with 10/21 nightly. Everything ok, except for bluetooth sound (tested with 2 Samsung BT headsets and car). BT gets discovered, and the call is transmitted to the BT device (it tells me "call terminated" as I finish the call). Notification and multimedia sound works perfectly through bluetooth. It fails only for the call sound, including ring tone and voice.
I've tried everything I imagined, including M releases, stock ROMS, etc., with the same result. Every test done with full wipe, format data, system,sd, cache... 10/21 nightly works perfect, except for this. But now after trying the official sammobile rom without success it looks like the problem is not with the nightly rom.
I guess some file (in a place not updated by the ROM) could be altered, and now whatever ROM I install it lacks bluetooth sound.
Any ideas? Thank you...
[Edit]: firmware version missing, so here it goes:
Cm version: 11-20141021-NIGHTLY-jflte
Baseband: I9505XXUGNG8

This is the logcat I get when I connect the bluetooth device, it gets recognized and activated, I make a call and supposedly get the ring tone (but no sound on BT device) and finally I interrupt the call.

Open Settings - Personal - Privacy - Filter Notifications (manage ignored and filters.) and now press the top right icon. Wtf is this?
I have lost service notification for sklavex's call recorder, and instead I get the wrong one.. But never mind this. That is how I 'discovered' that option. Call recorder was on the list of filtered notifications. I have removed it from there, but that didn't help with my issue at all.
What really buffels me is the long list of notifications I see when u press that icon... All that notifications have usually appeared in notification panel, and now I don't see them there, but instead they appear in that strange mystical list... I haven't add anything to that list..

Not really related to my question here, but since I mentioned the issue in previous post... My Call Recorder notification came back after I flashed GoogyMax kernel, which I run for a few days, just before my issue started (it actually maybe started just after I flashed the stock CM with the ROM.). I really don't like this. Custom kernel which messes with things like that. Maybe custom 1.22.2 busybox which comes with the kernel has something to do with it?
I also upgraded to the latest SuperSU, which is also quite sad, considering I like open source, but Koush's Superuser is not so well supported and some apps do not even work with it...

No sound during call bug? That's a bad one.
Since I have no idea about what gave you done until now, how did you upgrade, which software have you installed etc, I can only recommend clean (format data, cache, system is anyway formated when you flash CM.) install of the latest nightly.

I clean flashed CM11 M10. At this point everything was ok. I had the bug the first time after upgrading via OTA from M10 to M11 (dirty flash). Now i am running 1025 nightly (dirty flash as well) because i wanted to check if the bug appears on this version as well. So is there any other option than reinstall and clean flash?

So bug persist even now after you flashed yesterday's nightly?
You started pretty bad, because M10 is maybe the worst build ever, at elastic for this device.
You would have to look for so ****ed up build, and if you find one which is worse, it would be around that period between 10th or bit later August (few builds after M9 things started to go backwards quite badly.) and few builds after M10 (few builds after M10 things started to fix them self, but slowly. Last nightlies are best you can get for this device (except M9, and nightlies around that period.) IMO.
so, because you started with M10 I would suggest doing a clean install. In case if even that fails, than stock or Samsung based ROM with odin, and afterwards recent nightly.

Hi. I just flashed 10/25 nightly and after a few trials, including a call with no answering but with a couple of minutes ringing, it suddely got fixed. Bluetooth started working in the iddle of that call, and it works from then on. Will report if it fails again.

Hi there. I'm trying to update to latest nightly. Of what I see in the post they are now the same for the 19500 model and the 19505 one(the one I have) so I downloaded the latest one. When I try to install it with clocworks recovery it tells me that the phone model is different that the one required by the rom. Is there any way to solve this that doesnot require formatting my phone again? My current rom build date is 20140217. Thanks in advance for answering. Im sorry if this is not the right place to post.

You probably have to update your recovery. Flash the latest cwm and try again. Also it is i9505 AFAIK, not 19505.

I had tried that, but it didn't work.

Its my first time with CM on i9505. In TW my sound was really loud and clear, specially in whatsapp audio. But now in CM last snapshot M11, my sound is clear but even if in the max, its low. Is it normal? Im with stock cm kernel....thx

Using m10 i got 1 bricked sd 64gb and i thought it just happened by luck, but now using m11 i got a second bricked sd, anyone else has that problem? any solution not to have 3rd one?

I got the problem that I cant acces the gmail or any google account, I got the problem that I cant estabilish secure connection.

Does anyone experience problems when viewing videos online? Though Facebook / YouTube etc. My phone keeps freezing when i view them, really annoying. Ofc did A full wipe before flashing this Rom. Other than that it is running quite smooth and stable with A better battery life than stock rom.

Update: apprantly only happens when you have the phone rotated to full screen and you press the screen to show the time bar in the bottom, then it freezes. Also can't access the Buttons setting in settings, it insta crashes

Issue with outgoing calls
Hello, I installed cyanogenmod 11.0 it's working brilliant, fast but i have issue with out-going calls. When I'm calling someone I will not be able to hear anything but actually the call has gone and when the other person answers even he will also not be able to hear anything from me. This will happen for several time and after 4-5 call wil work properly. Please help me with the issue asap..

@Kosh_swe, have you found a solution? I also failed to get the Vanir ROM to work and I'd consider the flox CM10.2 ROM. Your post suggest that my radio would be dead in flox, too.

Testing radio issues
Hi to all,
I just tested radio issues on my phone. I was researching, why radio is not working.
Here are results, maybe it will help. Anyway, I have my GT-s7710 for testing and I can do some tests or catch some debug informations if needed.
It seems that problem why radio is not working is located in modem-supervisor process. In original firmware, this process is responsible for uploading firmware into dbx500 platform chip. But in CM, there is no such process.
I am not expert, but it seems to.
I tried to use old modem-supervisor process to make everything working.
Services line from original fw:

service modem-supervisor /system/bin/modem-supervisor -r -f /dev/dbx500_mloader_fw -i /sys/devices/platform/ab8500-i2c.0/chip_id -c monitor -t 0
but it needs to be changed because /sys/devices/platform/ab8500-i2c.0/chip_id changed to /sys/devices/platform/ab8505-i2c.0/chip_id
Problem is that firmware event for loading firmware is never generated and firmware is not uploaded.
I have some dumps and traces if you need them. Thank you for your work!

Your "tested" devices are just headphones, right?
The Problem is not the hearing part - the microphone signals are blocked...
if you have a real headset - please try with that one again and tell me

The 7580's phone hardware is almost identical to the 7710. The processor in the 7580-higher heights, but the hardware buttons and then there are all of the functions, but it has the 4.2.2 firmware, which allow moving to the SD card. Somehow it should possess to operate from 7710.

After clean 1st boot after the installation the buttons are working perfectly, but after reboot (2nd boot) they are not working properly. Only long presses are working (google search by long press of menu button, kill aplication by long press of back button, last apps by long press of home button).
So? There is no such responde on how to fix that..!

baseband wipe
I can't get Cyanogenmod 10.2 working. Everytime installation wipes my baseband.
When I install the Stock ROM SIM works again - but after flashing CM again also wipes baseband again.
My Installation-Tools:
Odin v3.07

No network available in Polish Play
I'm installing CM for my father in law on Samsung X Cover 2 and I'm facing problem with no available network.
I've tried CM 11 and CM 10.2 - both are running fast but both doesn't recognize any network operator.
CM11 has additional problem with hanging during shutdown.
I've found that Polish network Play has common problems with radio: like here

But even I'm putting T-Mobile sim card then still phone doesn't recognize (phone is coming from Play but it is unlocked).
When I restored Play stock ROM then it works.
Could anybody help in this?

Forget CM en try Vanir or MIUI these are more up2date. Also CM11 is alpa with camera bug:

Second, I use Vanir 4.4.4 daily. It has some bugs, but not some bugs that makes it unstable. Known issues:
Start/Stop navbar after every restart
Use this solution to fix connection errors after a fresh Flash: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60411469&postcount=612
Other small bugs:
2G/3G quick setting and normal settings dont work properly because of absence of LTE
Navigation Ring and immersive mode causes dead touch screen space
DSP manager doesn't work
After using Vanir 4.4.4 I never want to go back! It's that much faster, more free RAM en better battery performance. Because of the better RAM performance, you must kill apps more often else it will drain the battery quicker :silly:.
Best way to Flash with 4.4.4 is to first flash Clockworkmod through ODIN, then do the usual Full Wipe --> Wipe Cache --> Flash Rom --> Flash GAPPS. Here is a video of someone doing these things. P.S. in this video the process is speeded up also reboot can freeze the system (just remove battery after a couple of minutes)

Another option is MIUI (used on the the popular Chinese Xiaomo phones). Instead of the Vanir build, this build is still being maintained. But because it's based on Vanir it has most likely has the same bugs. Never tried it because I prefer stock Android.
2nd, the connection error fix for vanir could also work for CM (vanir uses stuff from CM).

Huge bug in the latest 1/11 build for KLTESPR. Whenever you try to expand a notification on the locksceeen it unlocks the phone for a few seconds and then the screen goes white and it relocks the phone. I originally did a dirty flash and then I did a two fresh installs and the bug still persisted.

Sd card problem
I have installed the Cyanogen CM 12 (20/01/2015) for my Galaxy 900F and I had no complain about this ROM expect from a problem that the my micro SD card appears to read but I can't access to write or save anything. And I try to modify some permition and use a app to put working the sd but when I try to save something in my sd I message tells me that since from 4.4.4 kitkat the sd card was unavailable for save or write something just to read it.... How can solve that problem. Cause I had my G 900F with touchwiz 5.0 lollipop and worked my sd expansion card. Does anyone had the same problem and got the solution for it?

Android 5 Wlan Problem?
Am i the only one who cant go in the internet with wlan?
As soon as i am connection to wlan, my download breaks up, internet browser wont find a website,cant check email..
is there a workaround?

I have Verizon developer edition. It won't let me flash vzw version. It gives :error this device is klte. So I flash klte instead. Now my phone shows at sm900f and phone calls/texts don't work. 4G LTE works just fine tho. Any suggestions to get it working?

Clean flash, constant crashes
SO I was running this rom just fine. I decided to try out MOAR rom but found it not to my liking. I did a factory reset, and flashed the 1/29 kltespr build of this rom, GAPPS, and Super Su. Unfortunately, though the ROM starts just fine, I go through the setup process, then it hangs as it's downloading/updating my apps from the Play store. The apps all say they are downloading, but never complete, the phone starts to get very laggy, then reboots to the Team UB screen, and eventually crashes into Kernel Panic (Panic msg: list corruption during del).
Thing is, this was working fine before. I switched to MOAR to test it, then when I came back, I must have broken something.
Any thoughts? I'm not quite the expert on Android, but I've never run into a problem I couldn't solve. :crying:

Phone doesn't receive outgoing calls
Whenever I try to get a phone call the Phone app FC. Not sure how to fix this issue. It also shows No Service on the left corner when on the lock screen.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with voice commands & Google search? "OK Google" is functioning very slowly, and the sound effects are cut off and staticky (similarly, notification sounds are similarly affected). This only happens in builds after 1/29.

It is normaly this Rom is not rootet?

Perfect ROM, but does anyone else have long (greater than 5 mins) boot sequences? I always get scared that I bootlooped my device. Running klte btw.

Great rom enjoying using it on a daily basis. l I installed parallel kingdom and it made the app dpi to big. Any ideas how to get the app back to the original dpi. I can't attach a screenshot as I don't have enough posts.

Green tint when lower brightness
Anyone have a fix for green tint with lower brightness? I'm new to rooting and this is my first ROM... So far mostly everything is going great but the horrible blacks and green tint.
edit: Found a solution. Change your display settings so each color is set at 55%.

Will this rom be updating to 5.1?

updated play services, and kept getting play services errors and then i started all google apps started working better
but then restarted after every notification.

Awesome build, I'm on Verizon and running MDK boot loader, clockwork mod recovery, after install I ran into problems without root, (but of course I know reboot into recovery and flash root zip.) After achieving root, I was having reboot issues after restoring apps, and messages ( I run a business and have to have it.) Well after the random reboots, I installed ktoonz Kernel and now can't use WiFi tether. Is there a fix? Sorry to post if it has been answered, I didn't see anything when I searched the thread.

I'm getting reboots when ending calls on bluetooth. If I end a call by pressing the end call button on my touchscreen, everything is fine. If I end a call by pressing my bluetooth button, I get a reboot. I tried another kernel, alucard - it's slightly better. If I end a call with bluetooth on alucard, the screen freezes until I press the home button. Any ideas? I think this started on the 5/17 or 5/22 build.

Is there a way to delete unused apn settings? The rom keeps switching me to apns that don't work for me. I'm thinking if I can delete the others it won't switch and kick me off service.
