Could you link me to it? And sorry I didnt know.....

Incipio feather case is what I use. Works great, but the phone doesn't fit in hand as well. It is still a good fit, but LG seemed to optimize it pretty well.

Buy and apply the back cover from XtremeGuard, which only costs about a buck or two.

Is the glass protecting the proximity sensor?

Ok I make a lot of phone calls on my cell phone for long period's of times and I know the oil's on my face are on the phone a lot.I wanted to know is the glass protecting the proximity sensor? I mean like is the sensor under it? I just don't want the thing to break but I do have the stock screen protector they provided you with on the phone. Also is there a way to break the proximity sensor? Thanks

Wow! Very nice! The springs seem to not be available right now. I also have a little fear of disassembling my phone.. The last time I did it, it was on a Sony Ericsson k800i, I ended up break the power button off without even knowing it until there was no feel in the power button when I tried to turn it in.

i tried just to stretch the spring buy ya...it goes back after a few days...
so i heated it up and then stretched it.
it works like a charm!
just take a lighter and then stretch it with some tools cuz otherwise ull get burned.
for now it seems to work reeeally good. have beein using that for 6 days now.
(and i open and close it a lot!!)

did you use a black marker
try using dye..
i remember someone doing this for the touch pro 2.. i have the phone before and the desire z feels the same so it might work
they used dye to add color to the matte part of the cover
pocketnow.com/tweaks-hacks/htc-touch-pro2-user-dyes-battery-cover-provides-pics-video-tutorial
I really need to know how this is done. I've had 3 G2's cus they keep changing a yellow color. If it was black I wouldn't have to worry about this.

For the final sanding I would use somethin really fine or you could even semi-wet sand it and you'll get a great finish.
Can you post better pics...i want to do this.

I don't intend to be mean or anything.........but maybe wash your hands more often? Had mine since launch and there is no discoloration.

My rear camera lens has 2 scratches!!!!!!!!

I have the moto portfolio case and got my xoom from launch day and today I just noticed my rear cam has two scratches and I'm about to cry!!!!!
Does anyone knows if there is a way to replace it and how much would it cost!!! I hate the moto case because doesn't protect ****!!!! But am I hopeless? Any help would be appreciated (even people complaining about this post and redirecting me to the right one)
Thanks!

Thanks for the reminder for me to be careful with that lens. I hope it's not a problem for you.
Same here.
I too have an issue with my camera. The plastic covering the camera has a dent right over the camera opening. Any ideas on this seemingly simple rplacement part?
That's what I was trying to get but, anyways it seems to not affect the pictures at all... at least on mine...

Fingerprint hell

This was after lightly using the phone to play asphalt 8 airborne
Be ready to carry a microfiber cloth in your pocket
I guess that's something I need to be prepared for. I am pretty sure the white didn't show fingerprints when I saw it in Best Buy but it didn't look as good to me.

Hoping my case will reduce this issue personally, but it comes with the territory of coating things in gorilla glass.

I know my case will but I really don't want to cover the phone up. Too bad the clear Samsung case doesn't seem protective.

For those that aren't a fan of cases, but hate fingerprints, you could try a clear matte skin for the back.
