Target Selling A500 $299 from Aug 14th...

Same exact price as when I got it a month ago.

Actually, it's $399 and you also receive a $100 Target gift card according to the Target ad. It makes a little difference (or a lot ) depending upon how much you pay in sales tax in your locale.

yeah i just saw the ad for it in the paper this morning. why can't i just use the damn card on the tablet

The $100 really helped in getting my wife to let me get this. I've had a Viewsonic GTab for almost a year. Also we used the Target Red card and got another 5% off.

Walmart has the same deal too both online and in stores. I picked up one yesterday.
The Walmart gift card was much closer to cold hard cash for me since I can use it at their gas stations. Plus right now you get 10 off per gallon using a gift card.

I recently bought the 32GB from Costco. It was $429. I am considering a quick return for this model and the $100 gift card (Wal Mart).
This is my wifes toy and she uses it to play some games and browse facebook. I think 16GB should be sufficient?

I went today and they gave me 80 bucks back. I personally think Costco is a better deal since you get one more year of warranty, its double the memory and you have 90 days to return it. Also if you use an American express card you get another year of warranty (3 years total).

I don't know what ad that is, but my Fry's (Roseville, CA) had the $100 gift card for the 16GB model today's weekly ad (which that page is not from) -- and it's correct, because my husband just bought one and got the $100 card . I almost wish I'd waited, as I paid full price for mine at BB. Ah, well!

Printed the Fry's deal, took my receipt and the print out to Best Buy...I bought 28 days ago.
Showed the Fry's deal to Customer Service who didn't know what to do. He called the Manager over for me to show to him.
Manager called my local Fry's to confirm stock, then came back and said he couldn't simply give me a gift card for $100, but what he would do is return the Note from the receipt, and resell it for $100 less; so $399.99.
Walked out 20 minutes later $108.25 richer (got the tax savings too)!!

I tried to get a price match at 2 bestbuy stores around my area, Bellevue & Issaquah. Sadly, the managers couldn't do the price match since it's a promotional offer.
Oh well, maybe I should call other stores to find out.

Yup, just left Fry's - got the grey 16gb with the $100 gift card! They wouldn't let me use the card for this sale though, was worth a try, lol. No problem though, I'll probably blow it within a week, ha.

Nah, I asked and deal is only for 16gb, grey.

just got back from best buy got my note 10.1 and 100 gift card with 18 months no interest. . They matched the frys offer so I'm gravy baby.

Too bad Bestbuy requires the competing store to have a brick and mortar location in the same city. No Fry's in Charlotte, NC

This is a great deal for the SGN10.1. Even at day 3, every store within 100miles of me still has them in stock which reflects the demand in general. If the same deal were for an iPad -even with a "get $50 gift card"-, every store would have been out in minutes based on past Fry's promotions.
Of course, they don't know what they are missing, but that's exactly the point, despite all the Samsung ads featuring the SGN line. May be few of us should setup a tent in front of Fry's locations for free demos.

The fact most reviewers made the SGN10.1 to be a worthless POS didn't help either.

When I bought my Note, there was an iPad guy looking at the 10.1 Note and he seemed impressed. I've used WACOM-equipped Windows tablets for years so I could really zip along and show the usefulness of the pen.

They don't know what they're reviewing, they probably haven't used a pen of any kind for years.
The Note 10.1 is the tablet the Lenovo Thinkpad *could* have been. No love for N-trig here.

Fry's isn't helping. My local Fry's did something kind of silly: The demo unit of the Note 10.1 was next to a grouping of the Samsung *players* away from the other tablets. If one only went to the tablet section one would never know that the Note 10.1 was even there and my local Fry's has all three versions in stock!

How much is the sim free nexus 4 for UK?

Hello everyone i have question regarding the price of the nexus 4. On the website of play.google they have the 16GB for £279.00 (British pounds) and the same phone the O2 has the sim free for £399.00. Why? I know there is a cost of shipping but i cannot see it because the product is out of stock. does anyone know how much is it?

Googles out of stock so they can charge what they want which is interesting because they must if knew Google was going to run out

It's the same in the US - unlocked N4 16GB costs $499 with T-Mobile. Google cannot/does not control third party pricing.

so the actual price is the google price but any third company can sell this phone in any price it wants right? if i order the nexus 4 from uk store. how much it will cost me if the price of the phone is £279.00?

The rrp from LG is £399. What Google want to sell it at through their own store is up yo them. All stock sold other than by Google is from lg.

Just a quick heads up.... I picked mine up, today, from Staples. I printed the sale page from Microcenter (which is an hour away, in the city) and they matched it for me!

I saw this on Slickdeals. Not only was I able to call Staples and have them price match the 32GB to $200. I then used the $30 off coupon code they have to take it down to $170. I'm talking about $183 and change out the door for the 32GB! Great deal.

Those of you that got the deal of price match and then $30 off at staples are lucky because according to the Staples price match they were suppose to deduct the $30 from the $269 price and then price match. Here is their policy on that, taken from their web site.
If you buy an item from us for $159 and you have a $30 coupon, the net price is $129. If another company’s price is $125, your price match would be $4 off our net price of $129. Dollars-off coupons will be proportionally deducted from the prices of items in your order.

I wouldn't say that suk's. Got mine for $165 November 1st 14. That was a hell of a deal.
With a trade in (my ancient Optimus S) and a BB card it was $99. Here in Ca with the dumb azz green tax and such... $165.

I just switched from the HTC One M7 to the Note 4. Went to Best Buy and picked it up for $1 and they were still offering $100 gift card.

Go back and have them price match! I picked one up on Sunday for $1 AND a $100 Gift Card! .....it's like they gave me $99 to take it from them!

Bagged mine back on Sept 18th for a buck on 2 year renewal as well.Went to local BB to see if I could score a card, but doesn't apply to online purchases.
Ahh well, still ahead of the game.

Thanks for the heads up. I got one a month ago when they were nowhere to be found. Got it on BB for $200 plus contract. Got one today for $1 for my kids. Evens out the score to ~$100 each.

I picked up my Note 4 on Oct 1st for $99. I called up Best Buy yesterday and they gave me the $1 price match, but only for the charcoal version. The pearl white version still carries the $99 price tag.

Got mine in Best Buy on Sat for $1, and they gave me the $100 gift card.

Did they give you the $100 gift card as well?

I got it in store. When I called they said they weren't going to honor the promotion since the price dropped. but the display still had the sign up and it was active in the system, i guess.

I did not trade a phone in. I learned of the offer on this thread, didn't see anything online. When I was in the store the giftcard offer was printed on the small card where the pricing is listed.

I picked one up for the wife today @ 1 dollar and it's her birthday too... They are selling out fast around here, yesterday they were listed on the website as being in several stores close to my house but when I pulled the trigger today I had to drive 30 miles to pick one up. get on this train fast if you want one at that price.

I picked a Note 4 up for a dollar as well. I got the $100 gift "card",but had to pay $54.00 for some fee. I applied the gift card to this fee and walked out of there with a Note 4 and $50.00 gift "card"in my pocket. My stock battery life wasn't that great, so bought a zero lemon battery for it. Battery life is better, but no where near my S5 using the MOAR Rom. That sucker go 2 days moderate use on it. The note 4 gets a day.

My last Note 4 broke, went to BB & no great deal on the Note 5, but the 4 was running at the $1 price along with that $100 gc.... AND since i wasn't treating myself to a newer device, I promptly spent that gc on my fancy new Gear S2 classic. AND i'm super impressed the S2 has no issues communicating to devices with custom roms (fyi)
