[Q] Galaxy y s5360b problem

Hello guys
i've got a problem
someonde give me a Galaxy y s5360 to fix a bootlop
i thought that it wasn't a big problem and i had just to install a stock rom
i put in recovery mode and wipe everything
but when i hit "reboot system now" appeared a message
-- Appling Multi-CSC --
E:failed to mount /data
(Invalid argument)
E:copy_log_files_to_data
::can't mount /dataReb
ooting...
i tried connecting the phone to Odin but the process didn't finished
and the bootlop continues... plz heelp ;-;

Your problem seems to be a corrupt data partition .. try searching for tingtingin user's thread. Which will give you the solution for it I think..
You should search for your phone in find your phone option.. anyway, go here. This is sgy section link

lost IMEI no.. from gt s5360
dear sir.....My Samsung galaxy y s5360 ......i am using differnt roms .......and i am very sad now ...because my imei no. has been lost ...and i unabe le to call and sms .....imei no...is NULL.....and i have back to STOKE ROM then also nothing happens.....and i have no back up of ief or any thing....please sir give me a way to slove this problem...??!!

Change your baseband to a new one

This problem is most likely is due to "corrupted firmware" the frm ware you are flashing is corrupted....may be.... re download the latest from doky's thread and again flash... if still the prob persists..then download galaxy y PIT file and re partition...... May be your frnd was using some CUsTOm rom which uses Other FILE system ext-4 etcetc..... so re partition and flash with new fresh downloaded firmware....press thanks if i helped

yeah try flahing a new basband version...if still not works then theres a software called " EASY IMEI v1.01" you can use it to write IMEI on phone...copy your imei from cell phones box

Where did you get the firmware from and have you installed the samsung usb driver
Brazil firmware for the 5360b can be found on my firmware thread along with the drivers and full instructions - link in my signature or top of dev section- use odin version 3.07 as later versions may not work
For imei make sure you are using the correct firmware baseband kernel ril combination - you can change rils by reading the ril thread - link in my signature - or change baseband/kernel to the correct combination

And the answer is because it has not been signed correctly - resign the apk with a platform key with zipsigner from the playstore and reflash it

Now I want to sellout my s4 so I wnt to go back stock firmware can someone plz tell me which firmware should I flash to go back to stock firmware
I m worried about lost imei so I stop and asking u guys se my device info

Flash the latest firmware or the same firmware u are using and all should be fine after u flash it reset the device from backup and reset from your phone and all will be official
however just for safety have a efs backup available some where safe

[Q] odin flash failed.please help

i was on rooted stock rom and was flashing latest stock rom from NE6(Hnogkong).but flashing failed twice at stage "invalid ext4 image". i am still able to go to download mode. please help what to do?
one more thing on dwonload mode screen there is line second to bottom "WRITE PROCTECTION: ENABLED" is this causing the problem.
please help urgently
as download mode is working ,can i flash cwm recovery via odin and restore old backup.

I dont know much about this stuff sorry. But seems like ur version isnt compatible.

Hong Kong ROMs are for 16 GB devices, your phone might be 32GB.
If that is so, download another region ROM and flash that one.

Don't flash Hongkong ROM If u have International 32 GB SM-N 9005,Try to flash

thanks for reply. yes i have international 32 gb phone.my original stocke rom was NB4 of france region.should i download the same or currentl version ND3.do i simply flash other rom directly or need any pit file also.i read some where i have only one chance of flashing if that also fails then my phone will be bricked.please guide
p.s. i just flashed ND3 of france region successfully.thanks to all for prompt response.

IMEI no problem

Hi guys, I have galaxy y s5360 and flashed a stock rom through odin. Now when I check IMEI there is nothing it shows and m unable to make any call as no network.
What should I do?

try the ril fix!!
try flashing the ril fix first (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2764389 ) (thnx to marcussmith2626) .if doesnt work then reflash the rom again via odin. u may can redownload the latest odin package and flash it again..

M not rooted.
So I cant flash ril.
Now what should be my steps?
Should I download the rom again Indian one and flash it?where can I find Indian 2.3.6 stock rom?

No need for root... Theres a method in the thread (link in above post) better follow it.. Its through cwm recovery..
If u cant understand what is cwm and bla bla :silly: then u better re download the odin package..

Scroll a bit u get the link of firmwares.. Select the indian one and flash it via odin
(once check for your sim card also.. Have u inserted it well?)

you need to provide more information
What rom are you using and kernel
You can either flash stock rom via odin (see my firmware thread at top of dev section or link in my signature)
Or you can use the correct baseband and kernel with the correct ril combination (again see my ril thread link in my signature)

i have i9500 galaxy s4 4.4.2 . yesterday i flashed by mistake [my stupidity...] the non latestest stock rom , with the maxfour v15 kernel - which went fine , but after that i had no signal.
now i flashed the latest stock rom which is - I9500XXUGNH4_I9500OJKGNI1_I9500JKUGNH1_HOME.tar.md5.
my imei match the imei number behaind the battery , and when i search for networks , i find my carrier , but i try to connect it says "not registered on network".
i had an imei not match problem in the past with the same current phone .
what do i need to do ?
flash a new model ? , what modem do i need ? [i from israel if it matters]
please help me ! im desperate!

Flash the same firmware again. Probably not all parts of the firmware were updated.

bro first of all relax and download any custom rom and flash it via recovery say cynogenmod etc..then let it start and check whether you can connect to network if its fine then your hardware is perfectly safe and goahead with flashing the stock rom you downloaded (consider redownloading it to be sure) and flash it and you would be fine

because installing a custom rom by fully formatting phone will delete any corrupted files that are causing the error and when you will flash the official rom it will intsall as a new clean rom and will work without any problem

i installed the cynogenmod rom [now i have 4.4.4] . problem NOT resolved.
my imei is good . i really dont know what is the problem ... please help me !
