But here is a huge request from my side, please bring some root methods for samsung galaxy on7 as well as roms for this device. I will be very thankful if you will bring some roms for this device...!!!
i tried the Chinese forums, they have some info, but it requires a QQ.com account or Baidu account.. OH GRIEF

i am at loggerheads, too, to restore my Samsung Galaxy On7 to working condition with Google Play Store, et AL..,
first i tried to ROOT it via tried and tested methods (i tried ALL working pre-Lollipop root strategies) but this one is a tough NUT to crack! so needless to say, KNOX kicked in and eventually soft-bricked my device
so i used a "Stock ROM" i found on sammobile to restore it but to my surprise there was no Google Apps, so i am in a position that is WORSE than back to square one because i am ZERO, i am NOT ROOT and i lost Gapps which i cannot restore either
any help on this will be greatly appreciated, as all solution i found on Chinese Forums so far are all paid and not genuine help / guide, please see:

3. This is a ROSTER of cache on Baidu that lists ROOT solution and they are all paid, i am willing to pay, but is this even legit? or really working? or just a rip off? we'll never know i won't risk paying online before seeing / trying the merchandise without any guarantee.
my device model number is: SM-G6000, quite different from India/Brazil or Korea models, so maybe those have different hardware that won't work for us if we use their img/Firmware, which is more common online
what do you think guys? what is your model number?

I wish if one of the developer gives his precious time to build a s9 rom for my device.
Though many such roms have been developed but none of them support sm n900.

My A40 has been crap recently (can't install ROMS etc.) And the newest note phone that has a simple bootloader is the Note 4 I have a Note 3 and the experience is great on it. So should I get a Note 4?

It's a good phone but:
as there are many posts about emmc failure of these devices I wouldn't have bought it knowing that in advance.
You never know when it happens and have no chance to avoid it.
If you can get it cheap, it might still be worth it as some guys offer repairing/resoldering it.
Don't take N910V Verizon, as these are very hard to flash TWRP/custom ROM onto it.
N910C with Exynos CPU are said to be faster than N910F Snapdragon but not that well supported with custom ROMs.
