any chance of settings.apk??
You should just download an odexed, rooted stock zip. Its got all the apks you need, rather than continuously asking people for them

Did you try rooting via the method here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=906248
yes, but changing zip into apk gives me a parcing error and unzip it give me all files which i have no clue where to put them (i have a mac and see .exe files so rooting through a computer is not an option)...as i said before, I am better in graphics than in this kind of work....any help will be appreciated, in the other topic I only found "yes it is working" Okay, that makes me officially a noob, but anyway....
Is there anyone who has the apk for this??

It's not meant to be an apk that you install onto the phone.
(1) Download the file onto your PC and unzip it.
(2) Enable USB Debugging mode on your phone.
(3) Connect the phone to your PC.
(4) Click on the "SuperOneClick" file in the unzipped folder.
(5) Click on the "Root" button.
(6) Wait until it says that root is successful.
(7) Unplug your phone from the PC and manually reboot it.
(8) Your phone is unrooted!
thanks, I will get a laptop from my work this evening and try.
So (yes I am a noob) should I downloading this file on the phone or on the computer??

You should be downloading it to a PC and running it from there.
Oh, I forgot to add that you need to reboot your phone manually before it is detected to be rooted.

thank you

Hi guys I've been rooted since Dec, 27 for WiFi tether and last night took the plunge with mikfroyo Rom. I love it but I miss Sprint tv. When I go to the removed apps folder and click Sprint tv to install it says not installed .. can someone please help me or point me in the right direction thanks alot..
use adb to push it or even flipz hero kitchen still works on the evo, you can push it to system/app that way. you could also manually copy/paste the apk in system/app from within root explorer.

Hi everyone,
Today we have a one click root tool and an unbloat tool. Both work very well and I in no way take credit for these tools.
First off is SimpleTool by hbwelch.
This tool creates a one click bootloader unlock, root, and clockworkmod CWM recovery.
It works great and I have tested all three functions.
Download: AcerA200 SimpleTool V2
The unbloat tool by Toffy seems to work well. I do have a hand full of apps that still refuse to let me remove them but at least we can get rid of most of it.
I was told this link was not in my best interest to be hosting so it has since been taken down
These developers can be found at the Acertabletforum website.
Thank you to hbwelch and Toffy for your work!
Acer A200 BRICKED. cannot mount /data /sdcard

The "Unbloat" tool has a bunch of copyrighted APKs in it. It's probably not allowed here on XDA

I would say if anything it is questionable ground. The tool is only trying to remount the apps so they can be removed. It isn't exploiting the copyrighted material.
Can .apks even be copyright protected?

Download the tool zip and you'll see that the actual APKs are in there. The tool /should/ just move them via ADB. It would make for a tiny download too

That would make more sense. I didn't create the tool though. Until I am certain the tool is against XDA policy I will keep it available. I don't believe there is anything wrong legally with simply having the APK. If that were the case Titanium Backup could also be in the wrong by backing up your system apps to a user accessible location.

Well no Titanium doesn't break any laws because it doesn't upload your APKs to rapidshare
I don't mind the tools being available but I wouldn't want you being banned for trying to help either the mods can get quite pedantic sometimes. I've already had a week's ban and I didn't even upload anything illegal to xda. I think I posted a link to a forum that was deemed bad. Lolol

Introduction
HI there :fingers-crossed:
this a small tool which pushes files to almost anywhere
it's almost complete it may have bugs
u can download it from the attachments
Screenshot
How to use It ?!
1- connect your device with usb debugging enabled
2- u type the full path for the file to be pushed when it asks u that of course
3- u type the path where u want to push the file when it asks u that
4- sit back and enjoy
Best regards my friends ( i know it has bugs but i don't really have time to fix it )
