HTC One Max stock wallpapers (REQUEST) - Nexus 5 Themes and Apps

Does anyone have them? I can only find the HTC One stock wallpapers, maybe they're identical? I think I didn't like about the One wallpapers was that the orientation of the wallpapers was vertical , i'm guessing HTC disabled wallpaper scrolling but maybe they brought it back with the One Max?

You could just d/l a One Max ROM and pull them out, right?

Hi,
They are the same as Sense 5 for the HTC One?
If yes, take a look here: http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/0...eous-htc-sense-5-wallpapers-from-the-htc-one/... Maybe not all but some of them are the same.
EDIT:
Ok, just downloaded an HTC One Max stock rom just for you , here's the original walpapers (18): https://www.dropbox.com/s/846f0i7syg6ldmn/HTC_ONE_MAX_Wallpaper.rar
It seems they are the same as above (I haven't looked closely) but at least these are extracted from a stock rom to be sure...
Enjoy

Animations like on the Nexus one

Can someone make a .zip for enabling animations like on the Nexus One? I mean the animations when you launch an application or hit the back button...
I know this can be made taking the animations of a Nexus One rom of framework-res.apk and put it in the framework-res.apk of a Desire rom.
Had this on my Hero before (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6188954#post6188954)
Thanks

[Q] [NAND] Pixelated graphics and widgets in all NAND roms. (Banding)

Hello xda,
Im currently using the rom on my signature which runs close to perfect. But I want to know why and how can I fix the ugly pixelated graphics and widgets in the rom. Is not a specific rom issue since all NAND roms i've tried have that problem. Back in SD this issue was fixed and graphics looked perfect. How can I achieve that sharp and nice look?
Thank you all, this community is amazing.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
do you have a screenshot at all to show us? Maybe a photo of the screen from another camera if that is easier?
Here's a screenshot with music and calendar widget.
Notice the ugly pixels and blocky look.
Edit. Actually don't know why drocap won't show it. But all of you who have nand open those widgets and you'll see what i mean
sorry dude... it looks normal... and looks totally fine on mine, I have a Telstra HD2 (512ROM) tried the CM and Desire and MIUI based ones, they all work great on mine, no odd looking pixels

Maybe that issue caused by image compression ... I think.
The rendering of widgets can be affected heavily by the launcher. I've heard suggestion that Launcher Pro will get rid of that problem. Worth a try since you just uninstall it if it doesn't fix it.
If it is down to the launcher, there's not going to be any fix for you, other than hope that there's an update to the launcher you use, that addresses the issue.
Thank you all for your answers. Will try another launcher and see.
I installed launcher pro (free) and tried it in the beginning with MDJ 2.6 G-bread nand version... I noticed pixelated widgets but kind of did not care. I also installed bunch of things after 1st boot and started using the phone. Among other apps it was ADWlauncher EX which I paid... I rebooted after that once for different reason and once it booted up again I literally noticed huge bump in how smooth and fluid motion was with this launcher - pixelation was also gone and I do not know whether it was launcher that made it that way - but I definitely love it
I know what he is talking about. I try to avoid widgets with that ugly looking thing. Which is why I'm currently using transparent widgets.
These screenshots have been taken with this app called "shoot me" As you can seen, they look perfectly fine
But, now look at these pictures taken with my digital camera

Looking at the pics you posted I believe this is the banding problem alot have referred too caused by the 65k limitation on the screen.. Yes it is capable of 262k but the devs haven't figured out how to unlock it yet.. Winmo say it's a software limitation.. Hope this is a lil explanation.. The reason your screen shot doesn't show it, is cause android itself isn't limited to 65k colors only the screen is (currently)..

I'm facing this problem too, and I'm still keeping the power control widget even though the pixelated one looks very ugly..

What is sence?

Can you guys tell me what is sence?
Sense is HTC's UI. When Google makes the phone, they put stock vanilla Android on it then they ship it to manufacturers and if they want, they can put an add-on UI to it. All the UI's that I know of that are made by a manufacturer are Motorola's Motoblur, Samsung's Touch Wiz, and HTC's Sense. Out of all the UI's, every one says that Sense is the best and it looks the best, but in my opinion it looks too childish. I prefer stock vanilla Android. Then there is a community made UI called MIUI, which is my personal favorite UI though I still prefer vanilla Android. To use MIUI you have to have a rooted phone. Here is a video of Sense http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfSxWNOG8DQ
Oh and UI= User Interface.
EDIT: Here is a video of MIUI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Or-9T44Bt7M&feature=related , here is a video of Touch Wiz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRM5bf35yqs&translated=1 , here is a video of Motoblur http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9z8yiaXULQ
thank you that explained it all
You couldn't have asked for a more in depth response.
Nice.
I have a follow-up question,
I've searched google, this forum etc. but I couldn't find the answer.
In sense you can change the wallpaper, widgets etc etc. but you can also change the skin. This changes the menu buttons (on the bottom of the screen, i think it is called "the dock" but i am not sure) in aesthetics. My device has a couple of these skins, and i can download 3 or 4 more from the skins selection screen and htcsense.com.
In total there are like 8 or 9 skins available. My question: Is there any way to get more skins? htcsense.com and the portal on my device gives me a total of 8 or 9 skins but i like more.
I already tried different launchers but i prefer sense. Is there a website or forum where i can get more skins? I searched all over the place but couldn't find any.
I hope someone can help me.
I've never really seen touchwiz before but from that video posted in this thread it looks pretty cool. How come no one seems to like it?

Is It possible to enable default android clock widgets in sense? The HTC clock ignores the daylight saving time. Even if I disable receiving time from network, the sense clock doesn't use android time and timezone.
I'm using SIMI clock until the DST ends. I reported it to HTC.

Sence is the word Sense spelled wrong.

What all Gingerbread goodies are there for X

I have the keyboard and icons for LauncherPro but I was curious if anyone has a definitive list?
Also wondering why I can't find the Nexus S live wallpaper. I remember when the N1 came out, you could get it's wallpapers like the first day. I'm assuming it's a resolution or porting issue...

[RUMOUR] Sense 5.5 leaked photos and features

Hi Guys,
Just found this:
http://www.droid-now.com/2013/10/htc-sense-5-5-screenshots-leaked-looks-promising/
looks promising with the customisable/removable BlinkFeed and other delicius stuff.
Cheers!
Cool. Glad he gave Mike1986 credit. Heck he's probably an Arhd user!
Being able to remove BlinkFeed is the #1 reason why I want this!

You can do that easily with Sense 5 Toolbox (apk available separately or with the latest ARHD ROM).

I don't think it's gonna be exclusive for the Max. If it is, it's going into the book: "How to loose your customers in one easy step" . HTC is not that dumb.

Yeah me too :good:
I just hope they add 4x1 clock they removed in Sense 5. Missing it so much. Have used some alternatives but ain't satisfied.
Secondly, I can't understand why they removed WEATHER ANIMATION all together. That was one TOO AWESOME feature. Lock screen weather animation and as you unlock you'll get the animation again. That looked so damn beautiful.
Sense 5 is faster, YES, but has sacrificed the beauty.

Mike has a HTC One and it is running Sense 5.5
We were chatting last night on IRC last night and he divulged it has the same HBOOT and a slightly newer radio.
I won'r speculate on time lines but he proclaimed that ADB pull was alot faster than doing a nandroid.

Keeping 4x2 and removing 4x1 is kinda hard to understand. They'd have kept it along with a new black themed 4x1.
I tried a 3rd party app. EXACTLY IDENTICAL. Doesn't have the flip feature but it's identical to HTC's clock. ALAS! it had the text misplaced on our 1080p devices. Worked fine on my brother's 720p device. In fact, he is now using it on his Galaxy Mega.

Maybe get in touch with the app developer and see if they can add support for 1080p devices?
I'm curious to play around with the Dual Capture mode on the camera. It's one thing that S4 users can rub in my face. I think it would be interesting to use.
As far as potentially being a One Max exclusive... We are on XDA-Developers. It will be available on the One regardless of what they might (but probably not) exclusively release it on.
It will not be One Max exclusiv. The 4.3 update for the international HTC One was delayed with the express purpose of adding sense 5.5 to it before rolling it out to One owners. (this has been confirmed by a HTC exec, if you search for it)
My guess is that they will "launch" sense 5.5 with the One Max (more to talk about when presenting it) and immediately / soon after, launch the 4.3 / sense 5.5 update for the One after it's had its prime time with the One Max.
