I have the AT&T LG G2 D800.
When I manually update, it stops at 9MB out of the 57MB then cannot download. It says the server is unavailable after and that the server will automatically check for updates in 48 hours. I have done this 3 times now and this keeps happening. Anyone know how I can get the update OTA successfully without any rooting, etc. involved?
Also, does it matter if I have the AT&T apps disabled?
Thanks.

I tried downloading the 2.3.4 OTA, but I'm in a wifi deadzone, so it never went anywhere.
I downloaded the update file directly from Motorola, but I can't use it with the usual instructions, because the phone keeps telling me that a download is in progress.
Is there a way to cancel the OTA download, or force it to download over regular data channels instead of wifi, or is there another way to use the update file I grabbed?
Is there a limit to the number of times Sprint will push an OTA update to a specific phone?
I'm not receiving the MDL update anymore, and manually checking says I'm up-to-date, but I'm not being at MDC. I received it the first time and installed it, but as we all know, it broke root access and closed the motochopper exploit. So I reflashed the stock ROM and wiped everything, got the update again but ignored it. Well, I reset my phone again, and now that I actually want to install the update, Sprint doesn't seem to want to push it to my phone anymore.
Edit #1: Saw this thread: New Update is here! Here is how to force pull an OTA update. But I am still curious why Sprint isn't sending it to me automatically if anyone knows.
Edit #2: Woke up this morning and the update had been downloaded. *shrug*
I got a sim unlocked sprint version of Lg ls980 Lg 2 from ebay and the phone was rooted and was on software version ZV7 since then i had updated the device twice through OTA and currently its running on ZVA software version, and i guess the root access is gone now and even i checked with the apps on the market it says device not rooted but the super SU app is still there in the phone which I am unable to uninstall.
NOW THE ACTUAL PROBLEM IS I AM UNABLE TO GET THROUGH THE ZVC UPDATE WHICH I AM GETTING FROM A LONG TIME, I ALMOST 4 TIMES WOULD HAVE DOWNLOAD THE ZVC UPDATE FILE OF 618 MB AND AFTER THE DOWNLOAD THE PHONES ASKS TO INSTALL AND REBOOT AND AFTER THE REBOOT ALSO THE PHONE STILL SHOWS UP THE SAME SOFTWARE VERSION AND KERNEL. IAM FED UP NOW HOW DO I UPDATE MY PHONE TO KITKAT NOW.
Does anyone know how to block OTA Updates on AT&T LG V20 H910. What apps do I Need to freeze or Delete. Please help I rooted my device using Dirty Santa and am afraid if I get an update I will be stuck in a twrp bootloop or worse. Thanks for any help.
I paid for titanium backup and froze the FOTA 7.0 Update app. Worked for me
Sent from my LG-H910 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
I have an AT&T V20 and I froze the "Software Update" app using Titanium. The message went away about the update
Not sure if AT&T has the Activate device - update profile - update prl option like Sprint has - but if you feeeze software update you lose those options.
The fota update is the only one I have frozen after realizing the above.
If you are getting nagged about installing an update - you most likely have an update downloaded to your internal storage that could cause a bootloop. Use a root explorer to delete the misc and fota folders.
I used to do this on sprint sammy phones and it worked on my tmo phone.
Find and remove or delete the update.zip from /cache directory.
I selected the update notification from notifications and then selected to install it. See the attached. It said rebooting. It won't reboot because the necessary file is gone. Wait 10 seconds and touch the recents home key and close the window. Done!
I rebooted the phone and no nag.
If att uses multiple files, then this won't work. If it is just an update.zip, then it will.

Nope we don't have that. I have frozen Software Update and haven't been bugged since. We don't have 'FOTA Update' on AT&T
Hi all. I'm outside the US using lg v20 h910 and its still on the dec2016 security patch
I want to.know how can i getbthe latest updates, btw ireo update is also near and im jit using an at&t sim.thanks
I'm from Canada. Got the OTA update notification today. It downloads, and verifies it. Phone then restarts, starts installing the update and at about 71% when it switches to "verifying update package" it errors out with "Software Install Failed". Phone is not rooted. ive tried like 7 times and different wifi networks. After each restart, the phone re-downloads the package again. Any thoughts?
this is the fix, read exactly and read the answers of the users -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/mini-review-nxt-l29c432b581-guide-how-t3620079
After download, stop WiFi and switch on mobile data. May be this move to help you updated successfully. Good luck.
